Super cute coffee spot! The atmosphere is lovely, and it’s nice to find a spot that’s open past lunchtime for coffee! We stopped in while traveling and the service was really great. The coffee was delicious! I got the iced Charlie Brown and my husband got a pour over. It was also nice to see Olipops for sale instead of traditional sodas! Cute little spot - definitely drop by and check them out!

Their version of a London Fog is the King George, and it was so delicious, I had to have two of them during my visit. The entire downtown square is filled with delightful shops. Support small businesses!

Crown Brew Coffee is the must top coffee spot if you are traveling through the area. We had their seasonal menu drinks. Really quality coffee and amazing small town culture. The gingersnap and the grinch is a favorite. The baristas are super kind! Maddy and Emma were welcoming to first time customers. We make a trip through that area once or twice a year. We will definitely be back! Really awesome place to work if you need a spot in Marion! Highly recommend this spot!

Interesting hipster spot in marion. They have some interesting beverages. Plenty of focus on gluten free/vegan/paleo etc. The chocolate chip cookies were good. I enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere, which is really nice and inviting. They were busy, and it took a good 20 minutes to get three drinks. The Chai was ok. Our group enjoyed the coffee and the olipop. Parking across the street. The staff was good and the facility was clean.

I remember when Crown Brew was in Carterville and I always wished they'd be in Marion. Now they are! I love how they mix up the menu and keep things exciting! Don't worry though. Your classics like lattes, cold brew, drip coffee, etc. are always there for you to enjoy if you prefer routine. This coffee shop takes coffee making and turns it into an art form. I absolutely love the atmosphere and appreciate the preservation of a historical building. I do wish they were open on Sunday. It's one of the few days off I have with my work schedule. I also miss their fancy toasts. Anywho, If you're in the area, you should give this place a try!

Every time we visit it's a must to stop by here as much as possible. First off the most important thing is great quality coffee which they have that nailed down. Everything else from there is gravy. Chill, cool, warm, inviting - all words that describe the vibe here. A different kind of place for the neighborhood in a good way. Decor has been well thought out with comfy seating areas down to exceptionally clean and well-designed bathrooms. Staff all are great. Friendly and knowledgeable giving the feeling like you've known each other for a long time. Hope they continue growing their brand to greater heights!

I measure real coffee shops by their cortado. First, you have to have it on the menu. Second, it must be perfectly smooth. Third, great presentation. Friendly barista is always a plus. My first time here. Crown Brew is a winner! 10 out of 5 on all points.

The staff are so friendly and the quality of the drinks are on point. This is a cozy little café with large windows for natural light and exposed brick walls. Great vibe and one of Marion's hidden treasures. I love the seasonal flavors to include the honey lavender! If you're unsure of a drink or flavor, be sure to ask the barista. They are very knowledgeable and more than happy to help with any questions you have.

On yet another road trip, have road tripped a lot of this country, stopping for coffee everywhere and this is one of the best. 1st time we stopped in we were fortunate that it was not too crowded so got the pleasure of nice conversation with cashier/barista, Morgan. She made the coffee quickly with care & it was warm and delicious. Stopped back in after breakfast and met with a long line so my husband was slightly disappointed in the length of time it took to get his espresso. The space is clean and and fresh, wide open, with many seating options. Parking is a breeze even with our RV.

I was absolutely blown away by my experience here! Crown brew coffee does not feel like it should be in southern Illinois, but in a trendy neighborhood in a huge city somewhere. They have done such a great job with curating the coffee, menu, and the space itself! What I ordered: I got an oat milk latte and the classic avocado toast. The latte was great and the avocado toast was one of the best I've ever had. This is coming from a self-appointed avo toast connoisseur. I cannot wait to come back to this coffee shop when I'm in the area!

Lovely little coffee shop here in Marion. Josh and Jared (the owners) outdid themselves with the café, it is so beautiful. They have an amazing eye for design which makes the coffeehouse experience 10 times better. All of their barista's have been super nice and they are well trained in making the Coffee just right! Whenever they have food available it is always mouthwatering to think about. Each season they come out with a new type of toast as well as some type of tasty side item. Their pastries are one of my favorites especially the pop tarts. All the food is made in house so it's always fresh!! If you can't get enough of their coffee they always have jobs available to bring home. Cold brew or lemonade or lattes! There recently Price for what you get 10 out of 10 would always recommend when coming to Marion!!

The Cuban latte was delicious. I also enjoyed the Mediterranean breakfast! Great stop on our visit through town. Highly recommend!

i never expected to see a place of this quality in Marion. Great coffee and a fantastic establishment. Espresso was unique and flavor filled. One of the best coffee shops I've ever been in.

Great local coffee joint in Marion, IL! They recently moved to their new location in downtown Marion, and they are no longer in Carterville. I can see the co-owners take great pride in delivering quality drinks and food. If you're getting a pour over, I highly recommend Ethiopian! Their syrups are made in house. Beans are fair trade. The classic avocado toast was delicious and savory. The GOAT avocado toast had good flavors, but more on the sweeter side. Great interior design and plenty of seating area to meet up with your friends. If you plan on being a frequent, make sure you sign up with their rewards program via phone number (every five drinks you buy, the next drink is $1 off). If you're driving through Marion, IL and craving for some coffee or avocado toast, then make sure you swing by Crown Brew!

Some of the best coffee in the area. Their espresso (not sure of the exact origin) has a very clean and balanced finish. Very "positive" vibes from the store and staff.

Excellent coffee and service. Had the PB Chocolate Scone and a latte and it was delicious. Really cool setting and decor.

Holy cutest freaking coffee shop ever - this place is every vibe I was searching for. We legit drove into this town for this coffee shop and I recommend that everyone do so. The decor is gorgeous and the company was even better. The beautiful people working were super friendly and helpful. We walked in and I saw they have sugar free dark chocolate so of course I got an iced latte with oat milk and added after caramel as well (sf dark turtle iced latte). SO GOOD. My boyfriend being the 28 year old child he is got a hot chocolate but I ate my words cause DAMNNNN is was good. :) Also, there pastries looked amazing - there seemed to be a homemade poptart that I couldn't eat cause I ate prior... but I ate it with my eyes. If there wasn't a world wide pandemic going on I would have loved to sit and enjoy this place! Don't walk - Run to Crown Brew!

Did not try any food since I have visited this cafe, but the food isn't really the appeal. The service is always quick and easy and the ambiance is immaculate for that little coffee shop sort of vibe if you're looking for that. All the people in there have laptops and will often be at seats for a while just like any good coffee shop.

Amazing place. They have couches and the place itself is rather cozy. The drinks are usually $6 for one of them, but it's really worth it. I tried the "Hey Arnold" and it was really great. My only little nitpick was that they ran out of boba, so I couldn't try another one of their amazing drinks in all of its glory.

Granted, there don't seem to be an abundance of coffee shops in the area, but there really don't need to be. Only in town (well, about 10 miles out) for a couple days, but went both mornings. I'm a simple guy, red eye, black. But my companion got a "Vampire Weekend" (horchata) and the obligatory pumpkin, which though not a house-made syrup tastes just like pumpkin pie. The toasts were a solid bite, but having taken them to go my PBJ was a little too J-ey by the time we got to the park so it was a bit on the messy side... But that's mostly on me for a to-go order. Definitely be back next time!

Crown Brew helped me get through multiple finals weeks throughout college, and it's the first place I come to visit whenever I'm back in town. The coffee is delicious, and the treats never disappoint. The store is gorgeous, and the exposed brick is the perfect touch. Don't forget to sign up for their rewards program!

This place is such a cute little gem! We are visiting town from Nashville and it reminded me of the trendy coffee shops we have there! The girl taking our order was super sweet and I was so happy they had gluten free scones that actually taste amazing! We are planning to come back before we leave town. Highly recommend!

I love this place. It fits the bill for what my hubby calls "your kind of place." What that means is exposed brick walls, music and a great atmosphere...what I call the "perfect coffee shop vibe." We stopped for me to get a coffee while traveling and if we are ever in the area, I will definately go back. The coffee was excellent and the owners/baristas very friendly. It's also connected to a neat antique/crafty store that has some interesting and unique things to offer.

Cute small local shop. I love to support the local community as opposed to the big chain coffee group. Much more relaxing in this place. Also the coffee was great!

Okay so this place is super neat. First of all, they firms that their coffee for 24 hours to reduce acidity making it better for your teeth/stomach/etc.. This place is the most hip and relaxed environment yet. They have a large couch, many small tables, and a variety of vintage chairs. They have free water, which is nice for long chats over coffee. I had the cold brew black and it was so smooth and rich. Literally, this coffee was amazing. The coolest part? They are connected to a art gallery/store that is composed of LOCAL artists. This is literally the cutest place! They have vintage clothing, handmade jewelry, and paintings. I know for sure they take cards and cash at both places! The owners/workers were very friendly and inviting. If I lived here, I would be here everyday. They also have free wifi. I legit would be doing homework at a place like this!

I almost feel like this place is a hidden gem in southern Illinois. The coffee is delicious. The staff is always friendly. This place just has a cool vibe. Relaxing, laid back atmosphere...exactly what you would expect the perfect coffeeshop to possess...this place fits the bill perfectly. I'd choose this place over any coffeeshop chain any day. Everything I've tried has been great and each employee I've met has been a total delight. This is the type of coffee place you'd expect in a bigger city but I'm glad it's here in southern Illinois for me to enjoy. You won't leave disappointed.

Experienced CBC this morning and the two ladies working there were lovely, and engaging. The atmosphere is exactly what I expect an Indie Coffee Shop to be---warm, rustic, and inviting. I sampled the cold brew and was happy to see that they offered Stevia---a marque of thoughtful shop (in my opinion). Even the bathroom was outfitted with what looked like vintage or hand-made wallpaper--lots of nice touches and details. Delicious coffees partnered with friendly service make for a nice experience and pleasant way to achieve your necessary levels of morning caffeination.

Great roasts start the drinks off right. Expertly-made conventional coffee drinks, really amazing and unique elixirs, and awesome friendly staff. This place is literally the best.

I went to the Marion location yesterday for the first time. If I lived here, this would be my hangout. They hit a homerun. It is cozy & classy...excellent service...and the goat cheese avocado toast was TO. DIE. FOR. My Mom doesn't even like avocados and liked it. Excited to see what they put on the full menu, apparently coming out soon. Will definitely go back!

Finally, a proper coffee place in Southern Illinois! With its hip atmosphere , Crown Brew Coffee will transform downtown Carterville. However, this is not just a regular coffee place, but they way they brew their coffee is unique. Each coffee is a hand poured brew, with the coffee grounded right before the pour. In addition, the people who work their know their stuff, and will recommend a perfect coffee! Highly recommend!

Ordered two lattes and they had dairy substitutes which was great! Staff was very informed and made sure our drink was exactly to our liking. Very cool interior as well.

They make a damn fine cup of coffee and are very hospitable. Irons in the fire, next door also has some nice local art.

I am please to say that I work at a nearby hospital, and Crown Brew is now onsite every Friday! Love this coffee! All the employees are super excited about this company being there! The staff is super courteous and professional as well!
