Crown Mansion Boutique Hotel & Villas

We just concluded our two night stay and it was one of the most relaxing stays we have done, the villa was well equipped clean and comfortable. Due to us booking our stay Monday and Tuesday the restaurant was not open but hopefully we will get to experience it in the future. Thank you staff and management at crown mansion.

Had a wonderful stay at Crown Mansion to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Every single thing was PERFECT! The room was beautiful with an amazing claw foot bathtub overlooking the golf course- who could ask for more?! Every member of staff that we met was really friendly and welcoming. We ate in the Sapphire restaurant and the food was outstanding! What a talented chef!!!! Has to be one of the best meals we have ever had... So much history attached to the hotel too, making this a unique place to stay. We will absolutely be back!!|Thank you to everyone!!

We made a last minute trip to the Qualicum Beach area in mid-August and were having a predictably tough time finding a decent room at a decent rate. I found this place with a water view room and although it appeared fancier than I was looking for I thought my wife might like it. I suspected it would not be as good as it looked in the photos. I was wrong.||This is such a beautiful property and building. The grounds are immaculately kept and warrant some time just sitting or strolling around. The rooms are beautifully and tastefully appointed. A little sign outside the door explains the history of the room and talks about a famous person (such as John Wayne) who has stayed there.||Be warned this is not a typical hotel with typical services. On the day we were there the front desk closed at 5pm so there was nobody to bring coffee cups that were missing in the room. There is no room service but they provide a basket of misc high quality snacks and goodies at no charge. What a pleasant touch. I was very impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the room at what was a very reasonable high-season rate. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for a low key romantic stay as a couple.

This is the second time that my husband and I have stayed at the historic Crown Mansion Boutique Hotel in Qualicum Beach. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We stayed in the spacious and lovely forest view suite this time. Our peaceful room was beautifully decorated and immaculate. There was even a basket filled with delicious snacks for us to enjoy. Watching some small deer roam on the large, landscaped property with colourful gardens, was a real treat. Having a delicious dinner in the Sapphire Restaurant at the Mansion was a bonus for us. We highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

My wife and I traveled around the island for 10 days (for our anniversary) and stayed here for a couple of nights. A lovely place with all sorts of charm. Each room has its on "history" and the restaurant was incredible! What a wonderful way to spend our anniversary dinner with great service, food and atmosphere. Centrally located to downtown and the beaches. I highly recommend it.

Staying at the Crown mansion was a wonderful experience. The room we had was was exceptionally clean and large with a separate sitting room and 2 bathrooms. Michelle was great. We chatted with her outside the morning after we arrived not realizing she was the manager, chef and pretty much everything else. The gardens are great and the neighbouring woodland is a wonderful peaceful place. Congratulations to the community for saving that site from development. Try and stay at least one of the nights that the restaurant is open as it is one of the best we have eaten at. The service was great there too. This was our first visit to Qualicum Beach but we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and the community. We will be back even though we are from the opposite coast of Canada.

My 3 night stay at the Crown Mansion was amazing, relaxing, and serene. My space had with everything one would need to be comfortable, happy and more. No corners were cut in the making and updating of this property. It is a lovely, clean and well maintained oasis. The staff are wonderful. Michelle (hotel manager and master chef at the hotel’s restaurant), Leimana and Caroline at the front desk, and even the staff I didn’t meet, but ran into at various times were all very friendly, kind as well as professional. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel. The only thing I regret is having stayed during the nights when the hotel restaurant is closed (Sun-Wed). Next time I’m in the area, I will definitely want to have dinner there. Everyone has told me their food is absolutely wonderful and I already know service will be impeccable.

The staff were so friendly and interested in making our stay fun. Relaxing in beautiful surroundings- architectural details were stunning. The dining was over the top. Steve was the best waiter we’ve ever had and Michelle was a terrific chef. Thank you.
