I am truly amazed by my experience at one of Crowns Villas. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how absolutely beautiful the villa is—every detail was thoughtfully designed and impeccably maintained. The atmosphere was luxurious yet warm and welcoming, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. What truly made the stay exceptional, however, was the service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction, always attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. Every request was handled seamlessly, making me feel valued and well taken care of throughout my stay. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience at one of Crowns Villas, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for elegance, comfort, and outstanding service. This was a stay I will never forget.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Luxury stay with incredible service and an unbeatable location Crown Towers is definitely on the expensive side, but the luxury rooms and service are absolutely 5/5. From the moment you arrive, the staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you want and need, and they do it quickly and with genuine care. We stayed in an executive suite which was pretty spacious. This was my first time staying at Crown Towers, invited by a friend, and it felt like such a treat. The room itself was beautiful, but the highlight for me was the bath with the TV built in. Pure luxury and such a relaxing experience. The location is fantastic, right in the city along the Yarra, with the casino and everything you need at your doorstep. I’ve also stayed at the Chadstone recently, which was amazing & had a spa (so also a great option if u don’t need to be in the city) but the city location & casino definitely takes this one up a notch The only downside was the pool area. Being school holidays, it felt more like a public pool than a luxury hotel experience, which I did expect to some degree. What would make it even better would be spa baths or an adults-only spa area within the pool section. There isn’t a spa unless you pay extra for the day spa, which was a little disappointing. That said, everything else was fantastic. The Conservatory was absolutely amazing and worth the hype. Overall, a beautiful, luxurious stay with outstanding service. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking to treat yourself. ✨

For the past seven years, my niece and I have stayed at Crown Towers annually for 2–3 nights to celebrate our combined birthdays, always booking a Premier Room. Aside from consistently dirty windows, the experience has repeatedly been a genuine five-star stay. This year, I stayed for three nights over Christmas with my cousin, booking a Studio Room. While the windows were spotless and the small walk in dressing room fantastic, everything else fell well short. Despite astronomical Christmas rates, my room (1025) was tired, dated, and clearly overdue for refurbishment. Issues included chipped furniture, stained upholstery, marked and dusty lampshades, mould in the shower, marked and dated power points, a missing desk lamp. The bathroom amenity box was heavily marked and scuffed, with visible stains and wear. The in-room amenities were abysmal. Toilet paper and tissues were thin and of poor quality. Opening the tea and coffee drawer felt more like a budget motel than a five-star hotel. Sparse condiments, no napkins, and poor presentation were completely unacceptable for a five-star hotel and particularly for the nightly rate charged. Overall, I was exceptionally disappointed. Lesson learned: insist on a recently renovated room. Positives: location is spectacular; dining at Conservatory, Gradi and Rockpool was excellent; service, spa and pool were all excellent.

Check in at 3pm which is quite late and if you arrive 3:30 good luck (photo was from a Sunday), was over 30 min wait. Pool is packed full of kids (and adults to be fair) and the hot tub spa only fits around 4-6 people. Adults only hours 8-10pm which is good but pool closes 10 so you pretty much need to skip dinner. Steam room only, no sauna, fits maybe 8 people. Gym is nice if you plan to workout. Rooms are dated, in deep need of a refresh, stains on carpets/couches, walls have been dented etc. drains were semi blocked, tiny toilet and water pressure too low to run shower and spa at the same time. Rooms were pretty quiet tho so can’t complain and appeared quite clean. Tv was small however okay channels and also was able to chromecast from phone. Was given low floor room despite putting high floor request on booking. Bathtub is both short and narrow, if you’re over 1.8m, it’s tight. No slippers on arrival, had to call and ask. Bell staff don’t direct valet traffic or open doors and get your bags, not sure what they are doing. I would not recommend the breakfast at conservatory, again very basic and kinda pricey

Had a fantastic one-night stay in a beautiful family room just before Christmas. Made a wonderful base for Christmas shopping in the city and at DFO. Room was massive, and such beautiful views. Bathroom was like something out of a movie - including a special TV in the wall over the bathtub - which the kids thought was great. Cost worked out at only $100pp - and we got to use the amazing pool & gym. For a Christmas treat and a taste of luxury - it was awesome.

An unforgettable luxury experience at Crown Towers Melbourne Once again, Crown Towers Melbourne delivered an absolutely exceptional stay for our family. This has become a much-loved annual Christmas tradition, and every year it somehow feels even more special. We were thrilled to be upgraded to a Crystal Villa, and the room was nothing short of breathtaking. Beautifully designed, incredibly spacious, and finished to the highest standard, it felt like a true luxury retreat. The steam shower was a standout feature, and the sheer amount of space made the stay so comfortable and relaxing for our whole family. The luxurious touches truly set the Crystal Villas apart — having a private elevator and private access directly through to the pool made the experience feel exclusive and incredibly special. Those details really elevate the stay and make you feel completely pampered. The service in the Crystal Club was absolutely outstanding and deserves special mention. The team went above and beyond with thoughtful details and personal touches that made our children feel genuinely welcome and special, which meant so much to us as a family. That level of care and attentiveness truly sets Crown Towers apart and makes the experience unforgettable. A small thing to be aware of (mentioned only for clarity): while we had Crystal Club access, we had assumed all food and drinks were included. We were charged for some drinks during the high tea service — not a major issue at all, just something for future guests to be aware of. Overall, the room quality was exceptional, the service was flawless, and we were extremely happy with our stay. Crown Towers continues to exceed expectations, and this was another wonderful five-star experience for our family. We already can’t wait to return again next Christmas. ✨

Crystal Club 25 Our family have been going to Crown Towers Melbourne over the years and have always enjoyed the great service, facilities and general vibe of this Hotel. This year for Christmas, we decided to try the Crystal Club and WOW, what a great experience that was. Wonderful, secluded, inviting but the highlight was the outstanding staff. The Crystal Club staff are the best in the business and from the moment you walk through the doors and are greeted, you are taken into a different world. Super professional, courteous, polite, the Crystal Club staff are amazing. Thanks so much to Karla, Cham, Maskey,Varshne(Vee), Justin, Aree, Mesky, Long, Nataia and all the other staff of the Crystal Club for making the quality of your service the highlight of our stay.. I stayed here for 3 nights for my honeymoon, and to be blunt, this property fails to meet even the most basic standards of a luxury hotel. It is a classic case of a "grand facade" with absolutely no substance or service quality to back it up. While the location and the Yarra River views are as described in other reviews, the hotel fails at the most fundamental level: housekeeping and hygiene. 1. Systematic Housekeeping Failure: * Day 2: Our room wasn't attended to until 4:00 PM. After requesting service, it took an hour for staff to arrive, and the subsequent 30-minute cleaning was subpar at best. * Day 3: This was the breaking point. We left at 8:00 AM with the "Please Clean Room" sign displayed. Upon our return at 6:00 PM—10 hours later—the room remained untouched. Even a cheap inn manages daily cleaning; for a "luxury" hotel to ignore a room for 10 hours is unacceptable. * Process: After another request, staff arrived 30 minutes later without a single apology. We were forced to vacate our own room and wait outside just to have it cleaned. Is being kicked out of your room so it can be maintained the "luxury experience" we paid for? 2. Appalling Cleaning Quality & Negligence: The state of the room after "service" was insulting: * Disrespectful Arrangement: Pillows were found on the floor, and bathrobes were left crumpled and tossed aside instead of being neatly replaced. * Amenities: Toothpaste, toothbrushes, cleanser, and lotion were never replenished during our entire 3-night stay. I had to call twice just to get basic tea bags. * Incomplete Hygiene: Food crumbs on the floor were only partially cleared, with debris left visible right next to the "cleaned" area. 3. Unprofessional Staff & Cold Atmosphere: The check-in process took hours with zero guidance. Staff members ignore guests even in confined spaces like elevators. Beyond the tablet PC in the room, there is no hospitality or helpfulness to be found. Conclusion: If you want to use the casino or go shopping, by all means, visit the facilities. But do not stay here. This hotel ruined the experience of our honeymoon. I hope other travelers avoid this place and don't let their special occasions be destroyed by such incompetent management.

Yelp
Truly 5 stars! Spacious and comfortable rooms, with a great bathroom make this place a fantastic place to rest at the end of the day. The location is great, right on the Yarra river, and it's an easy walk on the riverside or across to Federation Square. Breakfast is great and the staff is really friendly (free chocolates every turn down service!) It is quite expensive, and no free water is a sore sight, especially when you're paying so much. The other thing is that it is so so busy. The rooms and hallways are quiet, but the lobby/casino and food court area are just way too packed. It's the only casino in Melbourne, and it's right in the city too, so expect lots and lots of crowds, regardless of the day of the week. If you can manage the crowds -- or if you're going to join them in the casino -- this is a great place to stay right in the middle of the action!

Yelp
The first time I heard about the Crown Towers, someone told me it was the type of place that Oprah and Tiger Woods would stay at if and when they came down to Melbourne. Well coming from Sydney meant I didn't have to make quite a long trip, but enough to make me curious about what all the fuss was about. Safe to say, it put an image in my mind immediately. But the image in my head did not do it justice. The lobby at Crown Towers is an immaculate display of polished marble and high ceilings. The line at the concierge was a bit of a bother (and it also took us three hours to check in because they had trouble finding the booking). Instead of putting us in a bad mood, we waited in down stairs food court, had a bite, and by the time we came back, everything was in order. We had a double room which was pretty decent size-wise; it had the usual flat screen TV, iPod docking station, mini bar, walk in wardrobe and safe etcetera, etcetera. What we were really impressed with were the bathrooms. It had a bathtub with fully functioning in built LCD TV, marble tops, a massive mirror, and separate toilet and shower. The shower also had that cool rain shower option or the traditional hand held. Think about attention to detail! We had room service, extra fluffy bathrobes (they are amazing), and slippers brought up on request. Definitely the one place I'll be staying at in Melbourne from now on. I looked forward every time to an immaculately clean room and welcome Lindt chocolates next to my pillow.

Yelp
I find the hotel foyer extremely tacky to be honest -- there are Rolex and Louis Vuitton stores literally in the lobby of the hotel. That said, the room and the service has been impeccable, the bed is very comfortable, the view from the 17th floor is absolutely amazing (and I'm only halfway up the building) and I like that they included plenty of bathroom amenities and even a tv for the bathtub. (Suggestion for Crown: Bubble bath would be nice.) I also like being able to order room service from the in-room iPad. Food delivery has been surprisingly prompt each time and, though pricy, the meals have generally been delicious. (I highly recommend the cheese plate and Caesar salad, and the ice cream is pretty good, but I didn't particularly like the goat cheese ravioli with lamb ragu.)The free breakfast in the morning is extremely classy, overlooks a great view and has a wide variety of tasty items. I had the best massage of my life in the hotel spa. (Very therapeutic. He gave me feedback on the various tensions he found throughout my body and recommendations for repairing them.) I also made a few atypical requests to the hotel staff and they accommodated all of them! I expected to hate the hotel after seeing the lobby, but it's actually been a great.

Yelp
This hotel tries to give the appearance of luxury from the moment you step in - from the fancy, high-end shops to the decor in the room, to the little touches like chocolates on your pillow and turn-down service. But what is luxury if the basic amenities that humans need or so lacking (or expensive)? To start with, no free water?? What are you, a Holiday Inn? For $300+ AUD a night, that's pretty shocking, considering Sheratons and Westins give out free water in the room. The big bottle is $8AUD, if you can believe it. Also, no tissues in the room. Which meant I had to run to the bathroom every time my allergies woke me up in the middle of the night. And, they use ultra-thin, ultra-coarse, single-ply toilet paper. What the hell? I know there's a Costco nearby, go get some Charmin please. I've never, in all my travels and staying in hotel, used such flimsy toilet paper in my life. Finally, your "free" wifi is woefully slow and inadequate. That it took 2 full minutes to load my gmail page isn't even the worst part. Imagine trying to load a site that had more images and cookies to download and store, like say, the Qantas website, so I could preorder meals and check-in. The extremely slow speed was almost insulting, like it was taunting their customers. Why offer it at all if you're going to make it that excruciating to use the internet? Every other hotel and $20 hostel I've been to that offers free wifi have significantly faster speeds than here. Eating at the hotel stretches the wallet even more, as everything is ridiculously expensive there, even the food court. The one thing I will say, is that this hotel has the nicest hotel gym that I've been to anywhere in the world. This is a gym that I would definitely pay for if it was offering membership. I can forgo the chocolate and the faux-luxury for a hotel with basic necessities. The experiences I've had with this hotel seem to indicate that they are more focused on squeezing every single cent out of every single thing, like a cheap airline like Frontier or Spirit. My other review was highly critical of the casino, and combined, I definitely will not be coming back to this hotel on my next visit.

Yelp
I stayed here when i was in Melbourne to catch the Def Leppard concert. I stayed in a suite as the standard rooms were booked out. The suite has a separate living room with capsule coffee machine. There is a walk in wardrobe separate from the bedroom. The bathroom has a large tub. This is a luxury hotel but no porter service. There are many restaurants in the Crown complex.

Yelp
I have stayed at the crown towers quite a few times before, and I am always very impressed by their rooms on offer. The standard room is beautifully designed, with classy and modern furniture. The room is quite spacious- enough to walk around comfortably. There is also a walk in wardrobe, desk and lounge seat with an accompanying coffee table. The bathrooms here are also very well designed, two large glass doors lead into the expansive bathroom that is brightly lit and covered in stone/marble. The bathroom offers large mirrors, twin sinks, rainfall shower and a bathtub that faces a mini TV. Overall I am always pleased when I stay at crown, the hotel staff are all very professional and friendly. I always have a fantastic time.

Yelp
If this is a five star hotel then I'm an astronaut getting ready for my mission to mars on Monday. Forbes obviously have never stayed at The Langhams or The Grand Hyatt. This is a four star and that is being extremely generous. So overpriced.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed at the Crown Towers during our visit to Melbourne for the Australian Open. The location of the hotel is great-it's a short walk into the Central Business District and there are a multitude of restaurants on the property/complex or within a 10 minute walk. There is a major transportation hub (Flinders Station) within walking distance-from there, you can pick up the tram which makes Melbourne navigation simple. There are also a number of higher end stores (Rolex, Louie Vuitton etc) part of the Crown complex along with a huge casino. So, if you are looking for things to do, you won't be lacking options. The room we stayed in was excellent-we had a king size bed; the bathroom was large with dual sinks and a separate soaker tub/shower with rainfall shower head. The room had a refrigerator and a safe-both of which were very nice features. Service was excellent throughout our stay, including a nightly turndown service. One of our favorite parts of the hotel was the pool/workout facility. There are two tennis courts available for guests-the tennis courts are outside of the exercise machines. The pool is indoors but the pool area had numerous loungers including cabana's which are available to guests. The workout facility had plenty of newer/well maintained machines. Service was friendly throughout our stay-if you are heading to Melbourne, the Crown Towers is worth your consideration.
