Wowowow. Eric had excellent communication and customer service from the start. He came recommended by our AirBnb hosts and after looking up his work I was impressed. I was nervous that the cake wouldn’t taste as good as it looked, because it was for my mother and she is not easy to please. Eric helped me with a custom design and the double chocolate cake was delicious, every person wanted a second slice even after a full meal :)! It was so beautifully designed, more than photos and words can describe. My mother literally cried when we surprised her with this cake. We got the largest size cake and it was worth every penny. Eric is an artist and extremely skilled at his craft. My family rates this experience and cake a 15 out of 10. I would recommend Eric and Crown Town Cakes to any and everyone. Thank you, Eric 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Amazing! I'm always apprehensive if ordering without tasting, but it was difficult finding a good bakery out here in the desert. However, communication between myself and the bakery was like a well-oiled machine. They keep to my design elements, and yet threw in their own creative ideas. Eric made and delivered the cake and it was perfect. Then, tasting it, WOW! I opted for Lemon as that's my hubby's favorite and most people like lemon. What can I say? It was loved by all, ok not loved. What's a word meaning more than loved??? Everyone has been texting me about how amazing the cake was.

Crown Town made the most amazing cake for my sisters 30th! I sent inspiration pics and went through their ordering process which was very easy to follow and I appreciated how responsive they were via email when I needed to make small changes. The cake itself was not only gorgeous but tasted amazing!! I can't wait to order from them again!

I'm so glad I found Crown Town when I was searching for someplace to get a special cake for my husband when we visited Palm Springs to celebrate his birthday. First of all, communication was stellar all the way through, from a quick reply to my initial email through to text messages on the day to confirm the delivery location and time. Delivery was prompt and it was clear to me that they take huge pride and care in what they do. And most importantly... the cake! WOW! It far exceeded my expectations, both in terms of how it looked (I gave some high level guidance and loved the creative touches they came up with!) and how it tasted (SOOOO moist and delicious-- we could not believe anything that looked as good as this cake also tasted so yummy). My husband was so delighted when I surprised him with it, and it made his birthday celebration extra special. A delightful experience from start to finish.

Great cakes s but the way you order and pick up is so terrible just by email you can't talk with a real person so to order a nice birth day cake and have it decorated specifically tailored for the person its for is nearly impossible! Of all things that you prefer to be involved in buying a cake is one that you want to talk to someone about! Just a terrible waste of time heck just go to Costco or ralphs at least you talk to a human being about what you want and to help you decide what they will and wont due plus you hafta to order at least 4 days in advance which is ok but why not two days of less and in an emergency situation even one day in advance! Why run a businessnyhat is do impersonablr plus the ou pay in advance and god forbid you didn't pick it up Because if you didn't you just loose your money and cake! Which sounds reasonable but without knowing the place hoe are you to be sure what you paid for id what you actually want and you can't ask any questions or get any help YoY orde thru there website and pay for it unseen! Just terrible business practise I would not recommend this place at all!

Exquisitely decorated Italian themed cake with marzipan decorative items such as a mini pizza, chef's hat, mini tomatoes, mushrooms and tiny pasta. It was a stunning cake (Italians say "you eat with your eyes first") It tasted even better! Chocolate cake, chocolate mousse filling perfectly balanced and not sickingly sweet. It was excellently delicious...consumed and enjoyed by even a few who aren't fond of desserts. Highly recommended! One of the best cakes we've ever had.

I had this cake made for a bachelorette party and it was perfect. Can't get over how beautiful it was. My boyfriend saw it in photos and thought it was a prop cake. It was also delicious!!

We absolutely loved our cake.... the guys (Jim & Eric) did a supreme job! .... not only was the cake cool looking but it tasted fantastic too..... it was a Three layer Chocolate sponge with strawberry fillings plus a whipped chocolate frosting..... not even crumbs were left.over .... Order & pick up was so easy, they brought it out to me. Rare customer service !!! Great Job!!!! Grandkids enjoyed the cakes pops too!

The cake I ordered for a small, family wedding far exceeded my expectations. The design that Eric recommended turned out to be perfect for the occasion. I was very happy that I followed his design ideas. The cake cut beautifully and the flavors of the cake (lemon) and the filling (strawberry) was so delicious. Everyone raved about the flavors. I had emailed several Bakeries in the area for a friend's birthday. JM was the only one that was available, the others were closed for 2 weeks because of summer break or booked. The Cake and the cupcakes we received were so beautiful and there was quite a bit of thought put into it. The flavor of each cupcake had a topping that matched the flavor. Everything was tasty and we all had fun with it!!! The communication with JM was great and he called me right away plus our order was ready early that morning. I'm in awe at how amazing this birthday cake turned out! I gave the owner a rough idea of what I envisioned and he really ran with it. My friends were so impressed with the decoration and the cake flavor was perfect. We chose funfetti with strawberry- it was sweet but not overly sweet and the frosting was to die for. I ran in to their site via a Google search and read great reviews. i was last minute and It was sons 3rd birthday. He is absolutely obsessed with the movie Dory and sea animals. So I contacted Eric and he walked me through suggestions on the cake theme and decoration. we agreed upon the configuration. They were courteous and prompt and went above and beyond to make my sons cake special. He went nuts and loved it and enjoyed eating it as well. You must use Crown Town Cakes!!!!! They are responsive, hospitable and created beautiful cupcakes for a Marie Antoinette inspired birthday party. The result were gorgeous cupcakes. They even coordinated a delivery at the last minute. We are so happy!!!!

We came to Palm Springs for spring break, and to celebrate my daughter's 14th birthday. I wanted some thing a little more custom than a grocery store could do. The buttercream was the best I've ever tasted, and all of our guests LOVED it. The decorations were so thoughtful and detailed. YOU NAILED IT. You earned so many future clients from that cake, not to mention a repeat customer in me. I would post a picture of how beautiful our cake was, but I just wanted to keep her pictures private. JM is a brilliant and professional cake designer, AND his cakes taste delicious!!! Highly recommended!!!!

We got into town with less than a week until her celebration, and Crown Town Cakes couldn't have been more accommodating. From the simple ordering and pickup process, to cake design/consultation and of course, the flavor, everything was 5 stars. I highly recommend anyone in the area try Crown Town Cakes for their cake baking needs!

I can safely say that after a prolonged wedding planning period, the team at Crown Town Cakes were some of the best folks I had the pleasure of working at through the entire process. Not only is JM the owner/manager extremely attentive and responsive to questions and emails, but he worked with me to figure out exactly what we wanted for the big day. On a business level, I cannot recommend them enough. On a dessert level...their cake is out of this world! We loved our lemon Wedding Cake with strawberry buttercream frosting. Eric the baker did tasting cakes for us months before the day and we were able to pin point exactly what we wanted. Then we worked with him to do custom rice crispy treats, cake pops and cookies that all went with the "desert dessert" theme - cactus, palm trees etc. I cannot say enough great things about this team. If you are in the Palm Springs area, run to hire them. I have 0 bad things to say. And their prices, compared to others for a wedding, are perfect. I fly in each month from bay area to visit my aging parents as well as my Brother and his partner. This trip I forgot to order a cake a week in advance and was searching for a highly rated bakery to make a cake for my Brother's birthday. I am so glad I forgot because I found Crown Town Cakes and I ask if they can do a 8 " cake with their beautiful desert decor adding some pumpkins since Halloween brings back fond childhood memories of my Brother and I best times. Well Crown Town Cakes exceeded my expectations! The cake was so fabulous, pictures do not show the shimmer from the cactus flowers and pumpkins. It's a small effect but makes it simply beautiful. Surprisingly everyone including my Mother who never thinks anything tastes good, loved eating it, making this now the dangerous cake to keep around out of fear off eating more of it. It was simply the best tasting cake. I am so glad I forgot to order my Brother's cake because I found Crown Town Cakes. The nicest guy brought it out to our car , I was parked in wrong parking lot even though they gave accurate directions he was running it over to us with a beautiful smile. I can't say enough about them. Thank you for making us a beautiful and delicious cake.

This bakery was FANTASTIC! I had to plan a 40th birthday delivery from Atlanta and the response time and service was incredible from this team of bakers. JM (the owner) worked with me directly on my order and was able to have it hand delivered (for a reasonable charge) by Eric (the cake decorator) on time for our celebration. Everything about the cake was just as we discussed and was not only beautiful, but DELICIOUS! Thank you Crown Town! I wish I could plop you into my southern city and order from you for every special occasion in my life!

Best Bakers in Palm Springs! This was the second year running that I ordered a birthday cake for delivery from Crown Town Cakes. I live in Atlanta, so planning a special sweet treat for a celebratory event in California can be difficult. The team at Crown Town Cakes was top notch! The customer service was timely and communicative. The delivery that was arranged from the other side of the country was on-time and the cake was everything we could have asked for. Eric and Crown Town Cakes made us the most PERFECT birthday/celebration cake we could have imagined. From the start the communication was easy, friendly and professional. The day of pickup Eric texted and offered to deliver instead - which was such a sweet offer. (He even included birthday candles in case we had forgotten them - which, of course, we had.) Eric was so quick to respond to my needs and I felt that he really listened as to what I was looking for. This is truly a professional-level product. I recently ordered a Yule Log and the presentation was spectacular! I almost didn't want to ruin the design by eating it :) The vanilla buttercream filling melts in your mouth and the chocolate cake flavor compliments the buttercream perfectly.

I let too many days fly by after researching Palm Springs custom cake bakers before I realized I never actually placed an order. So I found myself two days before my event calling all of the bakers I'd found with no one answering the phone and often only a promise of response within 24 hours. Not looking promising. But lo and behold within a half hour I got a call from Crown Town and better yet a promise to start baking and be ready the next day! Wow!! All was handled by phone then email within a couple hours and the cake was completed promptly. Not only is it meticulously designed even better than I'd envisioned it's absolutely scrumptious, moist delicious perfection! I received a bonus set of cake pops. Pickup was a breeze. I'm so pleased and thankful.

So glad Crown Town Cakes is up and running. I got my first delivery of their Buche de Noel cake last week and couldn't have been more satisfied. The chocolate sponge cake was so moist and the buttercream melted in my mouth. At first I didn't want to slice it because the design was like a centerpiece. I can't wait to get my next order of their Holiday Special delivered next week!

I got the Buche de Noel and it was great! I let it sit out to soften and the butter cream and sponge cake melts in your mouth. I ordered the bunt cake and cookie special and look forward to that soon! He delivers to your house too!
