Upon arrival we were greeted by and incredible front desk employee. Tristan was very helpful with a few questions I had. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Three large windows gave us a sense of being comforted by the warm sun. Beautiful views of downtown, the river and theatre . Beds were comfortable and cozy. Our wonderful night sleep was followed by and incredible buffet stlye breakfast. The staff at Maxwell's was gracious and really funny.

Positive: It's in the perfect area; the ice rink is a 1-minute walk and its close to so many great stores. We loved the restaurant inside the hotel, the entrance inside is absolutely stunning, the pool and hot tub is large, and the cost of the hotel is great. Negative: I loved the pool and hot tub, but I did need to be cleaned. The floors were dirty, and the blue paint is chipping off on the sides of the pool so it's going into the pool and hot tub. I had some pieces stuck in my hair.

I don’t like that there’s nothing inviting to hospitality when entering hotel. No cold drinks in afternoons such as cucumber water ect In the morning no complimentary coffee to make and bring with you yes there’s room coffee that never has real cream or enough sugar I expect the only people who enjoy room coffee are those that take their coff or tea black. A little extra would have made a much better experience Especially disappointed that on New Year’s Eve the hotel offered nothing Would have been easy to set up a table paper crowns or noise maker from dollar store even with a free glass of champagne or juice even just from 11-12 to ring in new year The crown plaza has lost its ability sell an experience and not just a room. Just saying A little sometimes goes a long way in experience and return business

Wonderful hotel. The staff are friendly, polite, and professional. The pool and exercise room are very good. The bar/lounge (The Joyce) has excellent food and great variety of local beers and ciders. Its location could not be better - close to the art gallery, theatre, the river, and the conference center.

We stayed at this hotel because it is directly across the road from the Fredericton Playhouse. It's very convenient to be this close to downtown. Our room was VERY tiny. And it was $300 for one night with the tax and $15 parking. You could literally not turn around in the room it was so small. The room was not very clean, the extra comforter that was in the closet was covered in stains. The bathroom was reasonably clean except for the shower door which was glass and covered in smears. The onsite restaurant had a pretty good breakfast, the server made me fresh oatmeal because I didn't want the small packaged Maple Syrup oatmeal that was provided. They didn't have non dairy creamer for the coffee, but she provided Almond Milk for us from the kitchen. The bathroom in the restaurant area wasn't very clean either. There were patched holes that had been plastered over but were not painted. The hotel needs a major refresh. Some paint and cleaning would go a long way. I think next time I'll stay at the hotel across the street (Hilton Garden Inn).

Positive: Lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly. Negative: Not "entirely" the hotels fault - there were children running and shouting at 11:30pm. Parking is advertised. it was extremely hard to get a spot. come to find out it is also public parking.13 year olds were asked to leave the pool bc no parents.

No hot water all weekend during our stay, when addressing it.. seemed as they just brushed it off and said it’s because of everyone is using it. Then they gave instructions to wait and let the water run or give a hour or two then shower. It still wasn’t hot. I emailed a complain and they forwarded it to front desk. By morning, not from front desk contacted me again… also many others complained about the water being cold too. They definitely need someone to come have a look into their boiler system- to resolve this issue. The pool was closed when we’re trying to go in and my son was so excited to go and he started crying getting there as we had no idea it had closed. Only one elevator working all weekend while they were FULLY booked and it keep going up and down and skipping floors, and everytime it was packed with people and causing long wait times for everyone.

Booked the excellent downtown package with parking and the 50$ voucher for downtown participating restaurants. Upon entering, we got served really well by the manager and proceeded to our room. My wife noticed that the first room had a slightly dirty bathtub, one towel had hair and one of the folded hand towel was still wet. My wife sent me back to management for towel replacements but I got offered a new room (this was on new year eve and I'm impressed that the staff went that far to make our stay perfect) The replacement room was a 10/10, very spacious, amazing quiet thermopump and the beds were comfy. The location is amazing, nice walk trail by the water. We will definitely come back to this hotel next time. Shoutout to Nkem from front desk team 🤘
