Great hotel, great staff, great beds. Very clean rooms. Nothing to complain about. I didn’t like the in house dinner options at the restaurant but the breakfast buffet was great. I was there for a dance convention and the hotel staff was very accommodating of all of us and our strange ways.

This was an exceptional experience. When we walked into the spacious room, I told my partner it smelled like Asheville, which is great because it didn't smell like musty hotel. The lobby is gorgeous, but we didn't try the restaurant since we there only for the night. We did have a broken Keurig, but they sent a new one to the room immediately since I cannot function without coffee. The price for this place was surprising considering the amenities, and we'll definitely book it again.

This hotel was a stop along the way home. We booked this mainly for the fact that it's was pet friendly and we were traveling with our senior dog. Check in went well, the front desk lady was kind and helpful. I completed my pet contract and was notified of the $35 pet fee. No biggie, probably missed it on the hotel page. The main areas of the property are beautiful. The lobby and event space has been upgraded. The upgrades seem to stop there. The rooms were pretty basic and out of date. Could definitely use some love and modernization. There was a funky smell like it was once a smoking hotel that still has some of the smell lingering. We didn't spend a ton of time at the hotel as we had an obligation. The problems really began once we were trying to settle in and go to bed with. There was a dog across the hall from us that barked non-stop. I got a call shortly after from the kind front desk, asking if all was well as people were reporting barking dogs. I explained it wasn't coming from our room but shared with her the room number. I was hoping for some resolution after that but they must not have been able to track down the owner. The dog barked until 10pm. This was problematic with having a 4 year old travel with us. I heard people yelling "shut up" in the hall so it wasn't just us. I would reconsider staying here if you want a good night sleep, or ask for a room on the 2nd floor. They said reservations with dogs go on the first floor so they can walk out easily from the patio (which was nice!) note the photos of an inside pool are OLD, and no longer there. There is an outside pool but was closed with it being winter.

Great location not far from Biltmore where we visited King Tut exhibit, candlelight house tour and following day garden tour. We were exhausted upon arrival & checked in quickly, enjoyed a frosty beverage in front of the massive fireplace then went off to slumberland on a comfortable king mattress with great linens. There was no towel change for a 2 night stay- needed to be requested and no room tidying.|Breakfast on-site was effortless, tasty and reasonably priced offering a good variety. The omelet station on the weekends was superb!|I chose the king-junior room and made sure to request a NO PET room so we could avoid allergic reactions and were placed on the main floor ( which is really the third floor)where front desk, restaurant and lounge were all located.|A clean, inviting and peaceful stay for our mid-trip break from Vermont to Florida! Thanks to all and we would stay here again.

I have a great time every year during Lindy Focus! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are always nice and clean. I have issues w the key cards sometimes as they are prone to getting demagnetized but the staff are always helpful in getting the issue fixed.

This place is truly a hidden gem. It’s very quiet and peaceful on top of the hill. The grounds are beautiful. Perfect for walking or biking. There is a zip line and bike place with pump tracks Right next to it walking distance. The people here are very friendly. It’s clean. You can tell they work really hard to make it an enjoyable place to stay. The food at the restaurant is excellent. The location is just a short drive to Asheville attractions such as the parkway, downtown, the Grove Park inn, and Sierra Nevada. You can use the pool on site both indoor or outdoor and the racquetball club. We love coming in here. We’ve been four times and counting and every time it’s been fantastic.

Brought my wife here for our anniversary and at first glance the hotel is very nice. Beautiful lobby, but there was a bit of a line at checkin. Got to the room and the TV wouldn't turn on. Called to the front desk and was put on hold. While I was waiting I asked my wife if the TV was plugged in and it wasn't. Problem solved. The room seems clean and nice, but upon looking closer there are stains in the carpet and on the balcony. We had a HORRIBLE night of sleep, the mattress is terrible. Won't be staying here again.

First off Joe at the bar is awesome! Super pissed the hottub is out of order due to renovations after having a 7 hr drive. After the long drive that's the only thing I was looking forward to. BUT joe made up for it at the bar. He made the best made the best fm scratch margarita! As well as them giving me free breakfast for the 2 night stay since the hottub wasnt working. Room was clean & beds soft. No smell like other reviews had mentioned!
