Crowne Plaza Lima, an IHG Hotel

Crowne Plaza is a well-located decent hotel. The room we had was spacious and generally well maintained (the furniture appeared to be new, the bathroom could use some renovation though). I would have expected some more amenities (e.g. cotton pads, glass in which to put the toothbrush) or at least information that you could get them if needed. The staff was polite enough but not overly friendly or helpful - I would have expected a bit more from them.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel — what truly sets it apart is the incredibly polite, kind, and welcoming staff. I have honestly never encountered such a concentration of genuinely great people in one place. Every interaction, from check-in to check-out, was warm and professional, making my entire stay exceptionally pleasant.||If you’re looking for a hotel where you’ll feel truly cared for, I wholeheartedly recommend this one. The team goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort and happiness — it’s rare to find service like this. My stay was not just enjoyable, it was memorable because of them.

Our experience in the restaurant with the service of Juho was excellent! We appreciate his effort to speak our language Greek to satisfy our needs.We liked his humour and his questions if everything is ok in the hotel. Also the staff in breakfast was very polite and in general very clean hotel in a superb location!

I don’t think this is a 5 star hotel. Amenities were very basic in the room. Looks old and dated in the rooms. There was construction going on when we arrived and the banging wouldn’t stop for a while. Also the hall ways smelled like sewage while the lobby was nice enough. Air conditioning was also ridiculously loud.

I am a Platinum Elite member and despite the IHG website saying I receive Welcome Amenity Points, the hotel refused to honour this. After four emails and three requests at front desk, they still did not assist me, and instead presented me with a document that does not appear anywhere online to refuse my points request. The hotel itself is very tired. It claims to be five star but the decor and ambience is straight from 1980. The rooms are small and the windows don’t open. The decor is very dated. The charge for laundry and dry cleaning is outrageously expensive - there are many other options offsite. There are far better hotels in Lima at this price point. I suggest the Pullman Miraflores, which is a modern and new hotel, and which honours its commitment to loyal guests, unlike the Crowne Plaza Lima.

Wow. A nice luxury hotel with all of the travel amenities you need. I got a nice big room with a hot tub and walk in shower. Security is excellent. Two guards outside at all times. Two inside. Feels very safe to me. This is an easy walk to see the ocean views from Lacomar Mall down the street. I chose to forgo the hotel breakfast and to have a roll and coffee instead at an excellent cafe close by. That is my style of breakfast so, it is working out well. They have laundry service. Everything with my stay is easy to get to and use. Walk in shower. Easy entrance. The staff speaks English and Spanish very well They were very patient with my use of Spanish as I am learning the language. I am attempting to go without English as much as I can on this trip. Do yourself a favor and stay here with the luxury suite. Wow! Please note: I was not paid or compensated in any way for this review. I received no gifts, free stays or room upgrades.

The staff was amazing, helpful and accommodating!! Julio was the best server ever helping us understand new foods and how to eat them! The breakfast was delicious! The room was nice and clean! A Gideon Bible was missing from the room might be only gripe.

They just made my stay very easy and convenient. During this trip, I'm staying at two different hotels in Miraflores for two trip segments. The Crowne Plaza has US-shaped outlets bountifully available in all rooms, removing the need for any adapter. The wifi was pretty solid and strong, without need to purchase any upgraded speed. The other hotel I'm staying at makes one pay for speedy wifi, and has limited US plugs. At the Crowne Plaza, I paid less for my stay and had more "quality of life" amenities!
