The location of this hotel is excellent. I was able to walk all around the city without issue. The hotel is very dated. There is a new section and an old section, and they use different elevators. I was in the old section which is quiet, but it takes 2 strange elevators to get to the suite. Also, getting to the gym and pool is difficult. The swimming pool is absolutely great! And the spa is fine but a little hot. The spa services were wonderful and high quality but you must pay for them at the time of the service and you are not able to charge to your room. The Club Lounge is great for a snack or a good dinner. The staff don't all speak English and it took me several times to get things done. It was frustrating. The Concierge wants to be very helpful, so work with her. She will go the extra mile. There is a money exchange office that is open 24 hours just outside the Casino entrance. I would not stay here again just because of the lack of concern for service.

What the staff can control in this hotel was outstanding. It was clean, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. The location is outstanding too. It’s a dark building with Heavey marble and low ceilings, but it cool. The only negative here is that cigarette smoke permeates the entire property, sometimes into the room. I am a non smoker, so I am very sensitive to this. Mostly it comes from in room Smiling and the casino. However, the staff, the desk staff, the Consigiere and the Soa staff were absolutely outstanding. Five Star worthy.

VERY polite and helpful staff. Room was of standard size, in a warm, "classical" style. Very nice lobby bar. They have also a nice SPA zone, however I did not use it. Excellent location in central Minsk - near to most important places and institutions. Comfortable big bed. Room was clean. Some elements in the room, especially bathroom are calling for urgent renovation or at least repairs - especially leaking shower cable and leaking toilet. Some elements of the room, especially in bathroom seem to be very long used. Modest breakfast.

The hotel has an amazing location. It is in the center of the city. There is a street parking. People working at the hotel are friendly and helpful. The room we got was a Club Room which was ok with a very large bath and a very comfortable bed. The fridge didn't work. There is a kettle, iron, hairdresser and many other essential stuff in a room. There is a doorman who helped us every time we were leaving the hotel and it was important because it was hard with a stroller. The swimming pool and a gym are super awesome. Everything is clean. We got nice snacks in a room upon our arrival. We used a lounge area a couple of times where they had nice snacks. Unfortunately, the last day there we were asked to leave because our kids were, well, kids. You can' t tell your 8 month old baby to be quite and all she was doing was making cute noises as she was excited. Same thing with our 3 year old son who asks questions all the time. They weren't screaming or crying at all. It was very unprofessional and I felt terrible. It has never happened to me before and we travel with our kids all the time. So it is definitely not the kid friendly hotel. Very disappointed. Such a great place with such an unpleasant end of our stay.

I have read all the reviews and want to put in a good word for the CP Minsk. I've been staying here on business once per quarter for the past 5 years. Overall, I am very happy with the hotel, especially with the staff who are always friendly, polite and helpful. As a Platinum level guest I always get a warm welcome and I am always upgraded to the Club floor with use of the Executive Lounge. The lounge has a nice breakfast spread and decent (but not great) selection of hors d'oevres in the evening (plus free wine and beer). It's great to have the lounge as a place to relax, since the bar allows smoking and can be pretty unpleasant. The rooms are comfortable but a bit "tired". They need new furniture and a refresh. The desk chair is too low, which makes it uncomfortable to work at the desk. The free wifi is usually very good. There is always plenty of hot water, clean towels etc. Finally, the gym is terrific. It is clean, has excellent equipment, and is rarely crowded. One suggestion..Instruct the doorman that his job is not just to open the door but also to help the hotel guests bring their suitcases up the stairs to the front door of the hotel. This is my biggest complaint, especially in winter when the steps are icy. All in all, I give 3 cheers and 4 starts to the CP Minsk.

Admittedly this was not a first choice hotel, as we were supposed to stay at the DoubleTree.||||Check in was painless and efficient. Our allocated king bed was on the third floor with a street view. The room itself was spacious enough with all amenities: ironing board, minibar (always convenient to store ones own drinks) , mini safe, bathrobe and slippers.||||The bathroom is spacious for sure but I am not a fan of taking a shower while standing in the bath. The usual mini bottles of shampoo etc were supplied. Towels not that fluffy. Water pressure fine.||||Bed hard enough. Feather pillow in wardrobe. Investing in better ( higher thread count) bed linen I would advise. Also duvet made of quite heavy material. For me it was a bit uncomfortable but still had good sleep.||||The property has lot to offer: Spa including nice size pool, sauna and all kinds of treatments. There is also a casino. I noticed Minsk loves their casinos as there are many. We did not use any F&B outlets.||||I want to mention the concierge Alena as she was very friendly and helpful.||||The hotel is located a 8 minute walk to the Central Station from where bus 300 E to airport departs. ||||We had an excellent breakfast at café Michel which is very near the hotel on Karl Marx street and I wonder if Mr Marx would have approved of this slightly decadent restaurant.||||All in all a good stay.

This hotel is located near all the action, and a good central point from which to explore this amazing city. The rooms are above average, but the bathrooms are modern and clean. The nightclub on the third floor "Next" is excellent, and opens every night at 11pm-6am. If you need a taxi, have the front desk call one for you. Most trips cost 10-20 rubles. To the airport with the private driver is 50. The breakfast buffet was underwhelming, but the made-to-order omelettes were great. One final tip: have the hotel use one of their drivers to pick you up from the airport, it's 50 rubles and prevents you from getting ripped off by a local taxi driver.
