My room had a nice layout and a great balcony view of the Caribbean Sea and the Colonial District. The hotel gym is well equipped, but for me running along the ocean right in front of the hotel was ideal. Breakfast here really stands out. It's a large buffet, rich with plentiful options including not only traditional breakfast items but also beef, chicken, and pork dishes. Having these options, as someone on a business trip and headed into work, was extremely valuable to me. The service at breakfast is also phenomenal. Shout-out to Jose Manuel - Thank you for making the breakfast experience so wonderful every morning.

I am writing this review because the service was so exceptional, I had to share. I visited this hot for the first time and it was AMAZING! Everyone was so helpful. Luis at check in was very pleasant. Pamela del club lounge was just exceptional. She was so polite and ALWAYS kept a smile. I don’t know Spanish, but she and the staff did as much as they could to keep communication going and clear. This will definitely be my choice for lodging when I return.

Excellent service provided by front desk and restaurant staff. Jose Manuel is an excellent staff member, works hard and nothing is ever too much trouble for him at breakfast. Ambil your breakfast chef also does a great job, friendly and always says good morning - makes a great omelette too with some nice additions.

Great service and location for the trip! Every time I went for breakfast a warm welcoming from all staff members are truly warmhearted and it already made my day especially big shoutout to Jose Manual who always greets me with a sense of humor and showed professionalism is exceptional and I hope more people enjoy and had similar experiences as well.

I wanted to love this hotel due to the reviews, but there were issues. First, at check in (which was around 730P) I was given a room where when I entered, it was clearly already occupied). Then I was given another room, which thankfully the supervisor accompanied me to, because it smelled overwhelmingly like smoke. The third room was fine, and the manager did comp me breakfast and the lounge for my troubles. Second, the restaurant, I asked in Spanish for still water, I got sparkling. I asked for red wine, and I got white. I asked for my meal “sin gluten” and even showed her that on my phone. Well - you can guess that my plate came with a roll and croutons. Lastly the lounge, it wasn’t overloaded, but I saw a cockroach or two each evening - a sign of a much bigger issue. My room was clean, and the service was great. They even gave me their WhatsApp for safety when I took tours since I was traveling by myself. I loved the pool bar and the overall chill vibe. My room was clean and spacious.

José Manuel was great!!!! He made our stay extremely comfortable and was very welcoming. Also, Victor, Alexander, and the night and morning managers at the front desk were wonderful! My experience at this hotel in the Dominican Republic was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Every single person — from the front desk to the restaurant team, housekeeping, and concierge — went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. We truly felt like family and were super sad to leave. Next time we visit from America we will stay again! Love you all!
