The overall stay was good. The restaurant, Mr Abbas and his team was excellent in all the aspects like serving , quality and hospitality and very friendly too. Especially Mr. Vaisakh , he was very kind and highly professional in the hospitality of guests. He personally taken care of our needs since we were travelling with the baby. Highly appreciated his efforts to keep guests happy .Facilities are also good . Enjoyed the stay

The experience was truly enriching, and I will always cherish the wonderful memories created during my stay. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was seamless, and the front office team was exceptionally welcoming, supportive, and always ready to assist with a smile. The management, especially Ms. Mona, went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met, making me feel truly valued as a guest. The housekeeping staff also impressed me with their dedication, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor. Additionally, the dining experience was remarkable, with a wide variety of delicious and high-quality dishes, and the restaurant staff, including Mr. Samer, Mr. Mohamed Hamdi, Milan, Abbas, Sophi, Myrna, Lyn, Akram and Ameer and the team, were truly exemplary in their service. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Engineer Adel, the IT specialist at the hotel. He was incredibly helpful with any IT-related issues, always quick to respond, and provided top-notch support with a friendly attitude. It’s rare to find such excellent IT service in hotels, and his assistance truly stood out. Overall, the Crowne Plaza Sohar stands out as one of the finest hotels in Sohar, and I felt completely at home throughout my stay. The logistical arrangements and facilities were top-notch, and it was evident that the entire team is committed to guest satisfaction. 1.Mr Kamal excellent person-hospitality he showed .We were not sure that we should stay in the hotel or select another five star in sohar but Mr Kamal exceptional service made us stay in crown plaza.He is toooo good person. 2.Kitchen and restaurant staff-If u are staying in this hotel and have some special demand meet Mr Vaisakh-he is an out of the world person .He along with Mr Govind made special vegetation food as per my choice .Mr Govid after night shift stayed back to make parantha for my breakfast. Mr vaisakh specially ordered flour for me .He went to the extent he could to make our meals yummy and relishable. I have no words to express thanks for the out of expectation hospitality he showed.Very nice human being and great chef .I can keep on writing about him for the delicious food he specifically cooked for us .If I come to sohar I will definitely come to this hotel again because of Mr Vaisakh and his whole team. I would also mention the calmness and sincerity approach of Mr Saed and Mr Hamdi. The staff is definitely a high point of this hotel .

– A Beautiful Stay with Great Hospitality! Our stay at Crowne Plaza Sohar was nothing short of wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the ambiance of the hotel made us feel relaxed and welcomed. The property itself is beautiful, with lush surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere that instantly gives you that “vacation mode” feeling. The rooms were incredibly spacious—much larger than we expected! Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the comfortable bedding to the elegant décor. It’s one of those places where you walk into the room and immediately think, “I could live here for a while!” We happened to visit during an October Fest celebration, and it turned our stay into something truly memorable. The energy, music, and decorations brought such a fun and festive vibe to the evening. A special mention to Chef Minas and Chef Vaishak, who did an outstanding job. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You could really taste the passion and creativity behind each dish. Their hospitality and personal attention made the experience even more special. The staff overall were courteous and professional, always ready with a smile and eager to help. Whether it was at the reception, the restaurant, or housekeeping—everyone made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Crowne Plaza Sohar is definitely one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in Oman. If you’re looking for a place that blends comfort, great food, and excellent service, this is the place to be. Crowne Plaza Sohar is an excellent place to stay with your family in Sohar very peaceful and comfortable. I stayed here for over a month and truly enjoyed the experience. The food, especially the breakfast and dinner package, was outstanding. Chef Mr. Vaisagh is very kind and welcoming, and his live counter preparations and overall food presentation were impressive.

A Wonderful Staycation at The Crown! Breakfast: The freshly grilled Dosta by Chef Vaisakh was simply scrumptious! He kindly took the time to show us how it’s cooked — and even how to best enjoy it. Myrna was fantastic — warm, engaging, and attentive to every detail, from our café lattes to other requests. Service: Myrna also looked after us during Oktoberfest the night before. She’s incredibly hardworking, observant, and genuinely pleasant. Marry, who initially served us before we moved tables, was equally efficient and friendly in ensuring our drinks arrived promptly. Oktoberfest 2025: What a delightful event! The overall setup, entertainment, and atmosphere were just awesome. I especially loved the set menu — it captured authentic Western flavors that I’ve truly missed. The dessert selection was excellent as well! If I could make one tiny suggestion, it would be to make the chicken hotdog a little less salty 🤓 Room: Our room on the 3rd floor overlooked the pool — and we loved it! The warm welcome with freshly cut fruit and chocolate dates was such a thoughtful touch. Huge thanks to Ikbal for preparing it all so beautifully 🙏🏽🥳 Reception & Concierge: Kamal and his supervisor Hasan (I believe that’s his name) were both gracious and welcoming at check-in. The concierge at the main entrance, Viju, deserves a special mention — his big smile, kind assistance, and thoughtful gesture of offering detox water and dates made us feel right at home. Overall: My husband and I truly enjoyed every bit of our staycation at The Crown. From the food to the service and the small touches, everything reflected genuine hospitality. Shukran! 🙏🏽
