It was a beautiful location (Tourist Park & Town wise). Good van sites although there had been rain both prior to and after arriving resulting in a could of the site our group booked being flooded. I think the park needs to address. Other than that it was great

We camped, but my mother had a cabin. Only one small problem, the bed moved when she went to sit on it. We moved it closer to the wall to stop this happening. A working stove would also have been better than a little portable hot plate. The heater might also need a service. Beautiful location though and very well kept! The pond was so pretty, and they were prompt at speaking to a rowdy group when they were keeping us up. All in all, a great stay!

We arrived on Thu 17th about 2.30 pm and were greeted by a lovely lady. The site we booked online was very nice and looked like the one advertised online. Later that evening we decided to stay few more days and we used the website to book the stay, just as we did initially. In the morning we found out that the ensuite sites we were at were booked out for the weekend and we would have to move our trailer to another site. When we inspected the site it was nothing like the sites advertised on the website, it was bare couple of meters from children playground facing tiolets on the opposite side. We politely said that this is not what the website was advertising and asked for a refund. We were ridiculued and treated with hostility. Lady and man behind the counter said they will not forward our request to general manager, quoting " As if he would ever approve that!" Followed by a laugh. ||We will definitely not be coming back to this park, the lady that dealt with us on morning of Fri 18th July should be immediately let go. This was one of the worst customer experiences we had.||There was so many options to have us leave happ, or stay at another site etc... but instead we were treated without any courtesy.

Lovely peaceful spot with friendly staff and beautiful surroundings – really liked the fire pit and jetty area by the water. Facilities were good and the price was fair. A few things let the stay down: the old box-style aircon was very noisy all night and made it hard to sleep (I’d happily pay a bit extra if they upgraded to quieter units). The room could’ve been cleaned better, and it was missing a few basics like a hairdryer, bathroom floor mat, and Wi-Fi, which most places usually provide these days. Overall, it’s a nice place with great potential, but I wouldn’t stay again unless the aircon issue is fixed as it really affected the sleep quality.

We were with a group in caravans and had a great time. The club house had plenty of tables, chairs and camp kitchen facilities. The amenities were very clean. The bbq facilities around the park were a bonus. Great place to stay and explore the area. Would suit multi generation gatherings.

Great caravan park with well set out cabins and generous affordable Caravan Sites. Situated just 2.2 kilometers from town. However not suited to walking into town after dark as there is no set footpaths. Daytime is fine. There is also a dear farm bordering the caravan park. In addition there are many amazing national parks and dams nesrby. Amazing scenery, birdlife, swimming holes and scenic trails nearby. Make sure you allow enough time for adventuring.

We recently stayed at this caravan park as two families with small children and, unfortunately, left feeling quite unwelcome. While the facilities were generally fine, the way we were treated during our stay left a lot to be desired. One evening around 8pm, while sitting at the designated bonfire area (a fair distance from other guests), the children were naturally excited—laughing and playing as kids do. The property manager approached us in a surprisingly aggressive manner, saying their noise was “unacceptable.” This was not only upsetting but confusing, as 8pm is not a late hour, and there were no posted noise restrictions at that time. Another incident occurred when the children accidentally wandered too close to another property within the park. The manager once again rushed out and scolded us—this time in front of the children—telling us their behavior was “unacceptable” without any prior warning or attempt to approach the situation calmly or respectfully. There is a right way to speak to guests, especially when children are involved, and this was certainly not it. It’s also worth noting that we spent more time outside than planned because our original accommodation was cancelled by the park at the last minute due to a leaking roof. Had we been in the original booking, all the kids would have been together indoors, likely resulting in a quieter and more settled evening. We were surprised at how quiet the park was given it was school holidays, but after our experience, we now understand why. If this is the attitude toward families with children, it’s hard to imagine many would feel encouraged to return.

Lovely and clean, but heater didn't work. No warm blankets. Woke up to 1⁰ temp and could barely sleep as I was so cold. I had 2 jumpers 2 pair pants, 2 pair of socks and a beanie. Woke up and my face was frozen.
