We came here for lunch. The schnitzel is a must! Food came in large portions and reasonably priced. Burger was also solid. NOTE:Brick oven pizzas are only available 4:30pm onwards so if you’re looking to try those, don’t come until dinner. Lunch didn’t seem to be busy on a long weekend so reservations likely aren’t needed. However they do have live music on Friday nights so reservations possibly are recommended. We didn’t go back for dinner as we weren’t in the area anymore.

On this visit, I had dinner and took advantage of buying loaves of bread to bring home. I can see how much care they put into their business. Their food is fresh and delicious!! I stayed with them a few years ago, which I also highly recommend.

Google
What an amazing fluke it was to find this place. Will definitely stay here again while travelling through. The staff was amazing and friendly. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was soft and welcoming. Highly recommend this place.

Didn’t stay here but stopped in for a wine tasting. They got all uptight about me touching the bread that I was looking to buy that was wrapped. Very strange.

My room was both spacious and cosy with a skylight like window that enabled me to let in fresh mountain breezes and peak, the vineyards. Comfy bed, cozy, little chairs, and table and a spacious bathroom with nice shower stall. My lovely European style breakfast was included and, I also enjoyed the restaurant for dinner which was delicious. Unfortunately I just missed the complimentary wine tasting in the shop but enjoyed sampling the lovely wines with my dinner. I absolutely loved my stay in this sweet little quiet town and right on a working vineyard and orchard. I highly recommend staying here.

I really enjoyed our experience at the B&B, mostly because of the restaurant. The room is quite aged, kinda clean but there were big flies during our stay (last weekend of Sept), bed isn't very comfy. Beautiful garden, great food and nice service in the restaurant. You definitely need to try their wood oven pizza, our sour dough pizza was sooooo tasty. The breakfast was great, they provided orange juice, coffee/tea, boiled eggs, freshly baked breads, hams, cheese & local fruits. We also had their Oktoberfest dinner on Sep 28, I like the pork hog and sausage so much. It's nice to walk around the property for sunset.

Stopped by on Sunday around 12:30pm for lunch as website said they were open however a sign on the door said closed for private event! Would be nice if the website was accurate. Make sure to call ahead to confirm they will be open.

Yelp
Nice spot for a meal and some wine. Gin and tonic was good too. Live music is a lovely touch. Servers were very attentive.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful winery, restaurant and bed&breakfast. Great wine great food absolutely beautiful surroundings and a unique 7 room b&b . We had a wonderful stay and are already planning on a return visit! The night we stayed they even had live music and the outdoor patio was a lovely place to enjoy fine wines and pizza from a wood burning oven! The owners and staff were all extremely friendly and very efficient!

Yelp
What a delicious lunch. Food was super high quality and very fresh. Soups and salads were exceptional Sascha gave a great background on the wine flights we tasted and oh the bread- how delicious This was such a great find. The wines were good and we particularly liked the merlot and the Riesling Thanks again

Yelp
Pizza was AMAZING! Can't say enough about it. The wine is good too, we did a sampling - and I had a Caesar also (which was also great) magnificent views and the service was quick! Would recommend to anyone coming here.

Yelp
To say the schnitzel and spätzle were a spiritual experience would be an understatement. I have had amazing food in my lifetime, but I would rate this as my #1. I didn't want the meal to end. I am German and It's the best schnitzel I've ever tasted. Try the bubbly gewürztraminer or a local cider to pair. Terrific service, beautiful setting. I will be back at every available opportunity!

Yelp
This is my favourite winery to stop at when I'm driving through the Similkameen Valley. It's a family-run VQA estate winery, restaurant, and now B&B that makes wonderful, drinkable German-style wines such as Riesling and Pinot Auxerrois. The Riesling seems to be popular - they often sell out of it long before the summer's over. I also love the blends, such as the sharp and tangy Cuvee #3. They used to do more blends, but North American wine drinkers don't really go for them, so they mostly do varietals now. Crowsnest isn't found too much in liquor stores, but if you like white wines, definitely seek this one out. I haven't been to the restaurant, but the patio has a lovely view of the vineyards, mountains, and the family's very cute old border collie

Yelp
Went here for the first time today for lunch and wine tasting. As nice a place as any in the Similkameen Valley. Offering crisp and very drinkable white wines (we didn't try the reds) at great prices by the case (they have a case sale on at the moment). I left with a case of the Unoaked Chardonnay and a case of the Cuvée #3 which will make very fine late summer and fall drinking. The Chardonnay in particular for fall as it has a crisp taste with a hint of apple. Perfect! For lunch we ordered the Vineyard Plate and the Pate Plate - both served with bread - together comprising an assortment of meat, pickles, fruit, mustard, herbed butter, and feta cheese. My husband and I are not big eaters and this was a perfect amount for us - lots of food without being too much. At $13 and $15 for beautiful, fresh food (all local) - we thought this was a bargain. The setting is also beautiful - with outdoor tables set up at the edge of the orchard. It reminded me of wine gardens that I visited as a teenager in Germany. The family who owns and runs Crowsnest are friendly and welcoming - and provide great service. As we have a cabin not too far away, I think that more trips to this vineyard - for both the wine and food - will be in order.

Yelp
Was recommended by a winery we stopped at. We arrived at 11:30 and were informed lunch isn't starting until 12. So we decided to have a wine tasting while we waited. Not sure of the harm of giving us a menu prior to that. More disappointing wasn't told about wine flights until we heard the table next to us order it. Nor were we told of the tasting fee until it was on our bill. Still don't know if it would have been waived if I purchased a bottle. Lunch was OK. I would try something different next time I'm driving through.

Yelp
Unimpressed with the food and service. Not bad, but not special. Pricing would need to drop by ~20% to be appropriate.

Yelp
I consider myself to be an easygoing traveller and have stayed in many B& B's over the years. So I'm sorry to have to say that this recent stay has to go down as the most inhospitable experience I have ever had. From the grudging, surly reception on arrival to the service (a term used loosely here) on staying for dinner by a server ( really a one-trip food carrier) who did not to be there and said so, and, unbelievably drove away without her one trip to our table, I was so stunned it was almost himerous. I almost expected that I was the butt of a hidden camera joke, lol! European/German hospitality? Not even Gemütlichkeit-light! I understand "off days" in any business, but the way I was treated had no excuse. If I could have given NO stars I would have.

Yelp
Wow what a delicious surprise! They are one of the few wineries in this area with a restaurant. The food is mainly German but with a lovely twist. The highlight for us was the Charcuterie Garni plate. Not your usual cold meat and cheese plate at all . It was a hot plate full of sausage, roasted pork, lentil salad and sauerkraut. It all tasted delicious together. The open faced schnitzel sandwich was also a favourite. Highly recommend a stop here if you are in the area . Wines were a little dry for me but I'm sure others love that type of wine.

Yelp
Loved our two night get away here. Sacha and the whole family were great and welcoming. Our double room was simple, fresh and clean with A/C. If you' re like me you may want to pack an eye mask and earplugs, but my husband is not such a sensitive sleeper and slept fine. Great food on the patio by the wood fired pizza oven. Pizza night on Fridays. We had chose Choucroute instead, which was fabulous. Prices are very reasonable. Warsteiner on tap and house made cider which I will have to try next time. Breakfast was a good european meat and cheese plate with fresh baked bread and great homemade jam, some muesli and cereals too if you're still hungry. Such a beautiful location to chill with a beer and take in the sunset. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
I am such a fan. Great food and very tasty wines. No wonder we buy by the case. Octoberfest at the Crowsnest was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended. Sacha is a really, really good chef.
