CRUDO Steakhouse Abaya. PGR

I had the horse tenderloin over here and and it was absolutely delicious! Regarding the sides I highly recommend getting the coleslaw, you get a really big portion. Overall the prices were fair and the food was delicious. Service was good and the restaurant had a nice ambiance, definitely check them out!

Amazing place... We came here with our kids while holidaying. Tried the Ribeye bone-in steak with local meat and it was just delicious. Kids had the juicy beef burgers which melted with each bite. The service is excellent qnd everyone was very attentive to us. Thanks Olzhas for taking such good care of us

I've been wanting to go here for a long time but waiting for a special occasion. I've been told how amazing their steaks were. There was no special occasion but we're moving to Slovakia in a week and I still hadn't tried their steak so we went. The inside looks just like any other steak house and the food wasn't impressive at all. We've had far better steaks in Almaty and the sides were nothing special. I had creamy spinach, he had a baked potato, and the kid had potato wedges. The wedges were the worst. They tasted as if they had been cooked hours ago then heated up in a microwave and brought to the table. My teen daughter didn't eat them and if an American teenager won't eat French fries you know something must be wrong. It was an overall disappointing experience.

It has to be Almaty's steakhouse staple. Great and stable performance throughout the years. I'm also glad they have a wide selection of local Kazakhstani beef cuts. I believe that Kazakhstan has the potential and resources to produce steaks and overall beef products that can compete with other known international producers. Thus, I was very disappointed when I couldn't find local steaks in quite a few restaurants, only imported. Also, on our last visit, I tried okroshka (Russian cold soup), and they did a pretty neat thing where add-ons like horseradish come in a little chunk that dissolves in the liquid part of the dish – something like what Lush bath bombs do. I guess they mix ingredients with baking soda and other things. Looks amazing, but I still would like to see horseradish, mustard, etc., served on the side as some people, like me, prefer that dish with more kick than what is served initially. So that was the only thing I would change, but other than that, it was a great experience as all others before.

Delicious food, the steak was extremely good. Very professional and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Good quality meat: but at western price levels. Kazakh beef quality has dramatically improved past 10 years or so and is a more cost effective choice.
