Excellent food and service. We've had the meatballs, pizza , spaghetti squash, smash burger, and chicken Milanese. All are excellent. Service is always excellent. Inventive cocktails and mocktails. One of the few area restaurants that serve a Vieux Carre. The vibe is hip, loud, and active, so if you're looking for a quiet intimate dinner, this isn't the place. But if you're looking for a lively place with good food and service, this a great option.

Despite the tight space and dark lighting, this is a gem. Service was spot on. Only a minor mishap with an incorrect entree, but it was quickly remedied. We had a few elderly people in our group, and sitting on the barstools was difficult. The host/manager quickly got some stools with backs and our group felt at ease. Mussels and carpaccio were delicious. A great spot on the east side!!

Let me start by saying that our server was positively wonderful, she was knowledgeable about the menu, raved about the items she loved and took care of our every need. She is an asset to the Crumb & Spigot team. The only problem is that I forgot her name! I feel so bad. But if you remember serving a mom and her two daughters on Saturday, we absolutely loved your service. Now on to the food. We ordered the wings, the Vegan Mushroom Fettuccine, the Lobster Burger, a pizza and bread pudding. The wings were very tasty and the homemade blue cheese was really great. The lobster burger was great as well, at the suggestion of our server we added a garlic aioli and that took it to another level. The fettuccine was also enjoyable and the pizza was solid. Everything was very well seasoned. The star of the show was the bread pudding topped with Mitchell's vanilla bean ice cream. I assure you that I am not exaggerating when I say it was fan-freaking-tastic. I cannot say enough about how good it was. We were beyond full and rallied to finish it because we couldn't stand to see it go to waste.

We absolutely LOVE this place! It is our number one spot and has been for a long while and I don’t see that changing. I honestly cannot say enough good things…from the amazing staff, the delicious food, to the cool environment…we literally are there multiple times per week and recommend it to everyone we know! The whole staff is just wonderful. Alex, Lora, and Michael are the BEST. They take care of us and truly go above and beyond. They make us feel super special! ☺️ I can’t express enough how much we love them and how great of a job they do! You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Our recent favorites have been the bar steak, smashburger, and any of the pizzas…(the gluten free ones are the best gluten free pizzas we’ve ever had). Everything is so good and the drinks are phenomenal! Lora and Michael are fantastic bartenders!! You won’t be disappointed!

Great food!! Everything I've ever ordered is fantastic! It's always a very busy restaurant, so make reservations - especially for weekend evenings. It does get a bit smoky from the kitchen at times which is why I gave atmosphere 4 stars. It is a very lively crowd which is fun.

My friends and I went to Crumb & Spigot on Friday, 12/29 and had an absolutely wonderful time. Tom C the server and Tom H the bartender gave us world class service and made the whole experience amazing. The cocktails Tom mixed up for us were some of the best we've ever had, and everything was delivered promptly. Our waters were always full and we were checked on plenty of times to make sure we were having a good time. For dinner we split a bar steak and a couple of pizzas and everything was delicious. We finished our meal with an incredibly tasty bread pudding. I'd like to thank The Tom Team and everyone at Crumb & Spigot for giving us a perfect night we will never forget, and we can't wait to come back!

My boyfriend and his family took us to this restaurant to celebrate July 4th! The food was delicious and we left satisfied!

From the moment we sat down, our experience was elevated entirely by our incredible server, Lauren. Dining out can be hit or miss these days, but this was nothing short of exceptional — and it was because of her warmth, professionalism, and instinctive attention to detail. Lauren struck the perfect balance between friendly and respectful, making us feel genuinely welcome without ever hovering. They knew the menu inside and out, offering thoughtful suggestions. Her timing was impeccable — drinks arrived promptly, plates were cleared seamlessly, and always seemed to appear just when we needed something, without us ever having to ask. What really stood out was the above and beyond effort and enjoyment of making sure we had a fantastic experience. When one of our guests mentioned a dietary restriction in passing, Lauren not only confirmed ingredient details with the kitchen but also returned with alternate recommendations, clearly going out of their way to ensure a safe and enjoyable meal. It felt like we were being taken care of by someone who truly cared — and in today’s fast-paced dining world, that level of service is rare and priceless. We left not only full and happy but genuinely impressed. If you’re lucky enough to land a table in their section, trust me — you’re in for a top-tier experience. We dined here just under 2 weeks ago and telling friends they must go is how I remembered to go back and leave a review! We look forward to coming back soon!

Again, another good visit to one of our favorite late dinner spots. Yes, it's dark, crammed and very loud. Servers are very friendly, as always. The food was great. I got the brat burger with potatoes, pickles and some type of slaw. The slaw is creamy, maybe lean more towards a flavor could make it better, a little sweeter maybe? Wife only got a pretzel, the creamy dip was okay, the mustard is great. However the pretzel could have proofed more. There were strands of uncooked dough inside. Overall still a highly recommended place.

Decided to come here for a quick date night on a Sunday evening. Made a reservation, though it wasnt necessarily needed and decided to sit at the bar at arrival. I will say, it's cozy, bordering on tight. If all the tables and chairs were occupied, it would not be fun to walk through. My husband and eye wanted to try a little bit of everything. We decided on the Whiskey Wings, Medjool dates and Wood Fired Oysters for apps. The wings were good, standard bar far. My husband thought serving them in a pile was odd lol. The dates came served in a tomato sauce, which was new to me. I've had "devils on horseback" before (which I believe has cheese where this was stuffed with chorizo), so this preparation was different. They were also good and the sauce was HOT (temp). It came with bread that I wish had been warmed up a little. The Oysters were tasty but small. For entrees, my husband got the shrimp and Polenta. It was delicious, but man did that Polenta hold some heat! It was nearly inedible for at least 10-15 while he stirred it trying to get the steam and heat out. I had the Margherita pizza and that was also delicious. Particularly the crust with the right amount of crispy. We also got 2 cocktails each, though i dont quite remember the names. All were pretty boozy, which we like, and balanced. Service was prompt and gracious. I would definitely go back.

I've had takeout and also had a drink at the bar. Everything is always outstanding. I had a Fat Goose the other night and both the drink and the name of the drink were outstanding. The ambiance is a mellow, cozy vibe and the staff is friendly. The wedge salad is cute and fresh. The whiskey wings are generous. The mortadella pizza is delicious. The manhattans are tasty. Big fan of this place, it's a gem.

Small restaurant. The menu is well labeled for allergens. Food is delicious. I had a vegan gluten free pizza and could not get enough.

This is our first visit First thing I noticed is how dim the lighting is. We had reservations so our table was ready for us. We ordered a couple of appetizers the dates stuffed with chorizo and wrapped in bacon and fried oysters that weren't fried but warmed up with some cracker like substance on them. The dates were good but the oysters were terrible 4 for 16 dollars and I ate one. My wife ordered a great looking pizza that had a bunch of good stuff. I ordered a smash burger with special sauce that was not bad but not good either. Our server was a nice but not very attentive. All in all not a bad experience but not a memorable one either.

A great restaurant for both vegans and non-vegans. Good food, great pizzas, excellent service.

We ordered the whiskey wings well done that were NOT close to done a wedge salad pictured below that was 5 pieces of lettuce with barely any toppings! This was incredibly disappointing. The polenta and shrimp with chorizo was bland. The shrimp and lobster pasta was the only decent part of the meal. The rest was a bust!

It was our first time and our server Nicole was amazing. We told her that we were new vegans and she pointed us in the right direction. The food was outstanding. We had the olives and vegan meatball appetizer. Then Nicole suggested the ravioli and the vegan meatball flatbread for our entrees. Everything came out in a timely manner and the food was phenomenal. For dessert we had the vegan warm chocolate chip cookie that was topped with Mitchell's Vegan salted caramel ice cream. Do not miss out on this dessert! I am glad we each got our own. The ambiance was cozy! I suggest making a reservation. The menu has something for everyone; even if you are not vegan. 10/10 and we will be back!

Honestly just really disappointed by the quality of the food as well as how long it took and how loud it was inside.

The food here is awesome!!! The wings and blue cheese they have are so flavorful, and the bar steak was a big hit at our table! The service was outstanding from Izzy, very informative on menu questions, and we had an extra join us last minute and they were able to accommodate. With both indoor and outdoor seating, this place is great for a quick drink and bite!

Laura the bartender makes the best old fashioned in all of Ohio. Her service is top notch. She is very skilled at chatting up patrons while serving. Her nickname is the muddler because of her insane muddling skills.

Prior to Covid, I discovered Crumb & Spigot as a great place for vegan fare. While no longer vegan, I continue to frequent the place for both vegan favorites and standard fare. Their food is always creatively prepared and so darn good!

Very nice place! There are a few vegan options on the menu. We had the vegan carrot bolognese and the vegan ravioli. So yummy! The vegan Caesar salad was very good too. For desert we had a vegan chocolate chip cookie with vegan ice cream. Everything was delicious. The staff is friendly and the outside seating is very pleasant. Definitely will come back and try something else.

Was on the patio last Saturday...lovely day! Our server, Brett, is wonderful! This is the second time we've had him. Fast, efficient, pleasant, and kept coming back to check-in to see if we needed anything! Great server, drinks and food! Bainbridge location.

Great atmosphere, service, and food. Specialty drinks were damn good, too! We are at the bar and during happy hour. Pizza and signature drinks were $10 each.

My wife and I are relocating to the area and stumbled upon Crumb & Spigot. Since it was a Saturday evening and there were no open reservations, we sat at the bar. Michael was fantastic! His recommendations were spot on and the service, food and drinks were great. We will definitely be back.

Friend and I both got a vegan dish and loved them both!! My friend is a meat lover too. Truly outstanding vegan meals. It was a packed environment but very fun and engaging.

The staff was amazing... so friendly and kind. Brett was our server, and he was fantastic! He took our order without writing it down and everything came exactly as ordered. The vegan meatballs were the best I've ever had. can't wait to go back!

Kind of annoying to get to because the shops around this area all have the same exterior. Plus, so many different signs on the front saying "Wine Reserve" so I walked past it the first time because the main sign wasn't obvious enough, lol. Anyways...it's really dark inside and there is only room inside to seat like 10 people max. The bathroom area is a skinny long labyrinth though! We had a tiny table where you were close enough to hold hands with the people on both sides of us. The server stood awkwardly squeezed into the 5in of space between the tables and was quite practically in our personal space. I was pleasantly surprised by the portions of their dishes! I ordered 2 seafood appetizers and they were generous enough to serve as my entrée. The pulled pork sandwich my date ordered came with good looking and varied sides. However...it was possibly the saltiest mussels dish I've ever had. The bread that came with was unbelievably hard. The broth had too many bits of shell inside. The charbroiled oysters were good but did not need to be on separate piles of salt. The bread pudding dessert was massive and I feel grateful for what we were served but there was not enough sauce drizzled on and ultimately was a bit dry. This place was conveniently close for part II of our date but I'm not trying to come back here.

Haven't been in a couple years but it was our go to during Covid for takeout! Fantastic always. Don't know what happened but tonight was disappointing. We love the vegan kale salad and got two only to be disappointed. Zero kale it was all buckeye blend. Meatballs were salty as all get out. We will be back but it may be awhile.

Lauren was amazing- food and drinks were great, but service was superb. She kept the 5 year old busy, the teenagers happy and the recommendations were on point.

We choose Crumb & Spigot to celebrate my Birthday on a Saturday. We were seated quickly (with RSVP) and our server Brad/Brett (sorry) greeted us and offered a drink order and shared his favorite as well as other suggestions. Drinks and dinner were served timely. We enjoyed their smash burgers, mussels, pizza and cauliflower steak. It was a full restaurant, however cozy and easy to have (and hear) conversations. We all agreed we'll return for the food/service and ambiance.

Sorry for the horrible pictures, this restaurant is about as lit as Hollister in the early 2000s lol. This place is for the upper middle class for sure. The drinks are AMAZING but a bit expensive and the food is AMAZING quality and taste but also very expensive (IN MY OPINION). The quality of the food and taste warrant this price but for some people living on a lower income this would be a special place to go. The service was AMAZING!! McKenzie (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was VERY attentive, bubbly, energetic and knowledgeable about the menu. She said she JUST STARTED WORKING THERE and I was shocked because of how well trained she was :) FOOD: Pretzel: 10/10 I would die for the homemade horseradish it was AMAZING Meatball app: 9/10 little undercooked for my liking on the inside but the flavor and authenticity was there. Mushroom Pizza: 10/10 GET THE RANCH WITH IT TO DIP IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE, this was the best ranch I have ever had in my life (it's garlicky) and the mushrooms tasted like they were foraged in a magical fairy forest 10/10 AMAZING Caesar Salad: 10/10 fresh ingredients great flavor plenty of dressing :))) Vegan Cookie and Ice Cream: 5/10, the ice cream was AMAZING 10/10 tasted like cow milk the vegan cookie that was also GF was NOT my vibe but maybe ur into stuff like that.

Found this in my sloppy Joe... manager said it was a towel string.... But looked it up online and looks VERY MUCH like a tapeworm..... not making any claims.... Just saying if you order this to be prepared to decide on what it is if you get one too.

Mmm! The warmed olives are so good! We both had pizzas, my husband loved his Margherita, it wasn't neopolitan style, but delish. I had the vegan meatball, I would rather have not had mozzarella (vegan) at all crust sauce and "sausage" tasty.

Really vibrant and exclusive feeling environment. It was packed when I went. Smaller establishment but it made it feel more alive. Excellent cocktails and the food was great. The only complaint, as with seemingly all places lately, was the price. I don't know when a 12" pizza and a side salad started costing $50 but it's ridiculous if you're on any kind of budget. Delicious but be prepared to drop $100 minimum for a date.

Love going to Crumb--went on Sunday to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The food was wonderful as usual. The reason for this post is to celebrate our phenomenal server--Jason. Jason was outstanding-he coached -guided us to our happy ending. We will come back soon because of Jason!

The pizzas here are really great! The green crunch salad is one of my favorites too! The no 27 on the drink menu is my favorite. They have very good prices during Happy Hour which on a Sunday is the first hour and a half after they open! Get there for Happy Hour. You won't be disappointed! So good!!

Casual dining in chagrin falls with a fantastic menu. The pizza is the star of the show, but the rest of the menu is superb. Highly recommend the ghost rider cocktail and BBQ chicken pizza. Service 10/10.

I learned that Crumb & Spigot is open Sundays now so I finally was able to visit for the first time since before they had closed and reopened (they used to only be open the same days and times I am at work.) I always loved their vegan options, and the fact that they had a vegan dessert that wasn't just Mitchell's ice cream like some places always made me happy! My original plan was to order the vegan skillet cookie at the bar while waiting for to-go food, but that quickly changed lol. I ordered the Fifty Haircuts drink first, and started with the Bibb salad. For my entree I chose the spaghetti squash and a side of carrots (which I forgot to take a picture of before diving in.) I then ordered the Elder Mother drink which kept the enjoyment of the night going. When it was time for dessert I of course chose the vegan skillet cookie and since they had just run out of the vegan caramel ice cream, I went with the vegan chocolate (also impatiently dove in before taking a picture.) It was so good, just as I remembered. Mike provided great service and ended the night with an espresso martini for me. I also ordered the vegan meatballs app, vegan sloppy Joe, and vegan lasagna to go, as well as another vegan skillet cookie and more ice cream to pack up in a box to go as well. I tried my best to picture what I ordered to go, but obviously they do not do justice as much as when dining in. I love Crumb & Spigot for their numerous vegan options, especially because they are not a typical black bean burger or an impossible burger. I definitely hyped them up to my coworker who often frequents the Falls but had never heard of them. They surely would have received 5 stars except I'm not sure why I only received one vegan meatball? I scoured the internet for pictures to see if maybe I was crazy and it was only one meatball (despite it being listed as plural meatballS), but I had ordered it years ago and remembered there being 2? I also did not receive any of the bread that I remembered it coming with and also saw in the pictures I found for dining in. That's why I ended up just eating the meatball with the vegan lasagna at home instead of as an appetizer dish. I wondered if perhaps I was misunderstood and a side, or an "add meatball" was ordered instead of the appetizer. However, my check shows it rang in as the $12 meatballs app. I also then noticed the vegan skillet cookie is not listed as the $8 it used to be, but it is also still is listed as that on their website.. Hopefully there is something that can be done for any of this confusion, especially since I spent $168 as a solo walk-in diner and then left a 26.5% tip despite my to-go food not being checked before it was bagged. I loved Crumb & Spigot prior and hope to visit more now that I will be able to. But I probably won't spend as much if I continue to receive items that aren't to expectation as they used to be.

I like that they have several vegan options. Food tastes good. Pretty loud and crowded so avoid if quiet is what you are seeking.

Long wait times for both table, service, and food. Pizza came in burnt. Manager told me they would ajust the bill but did not.

The food was very tasty but you need to make a reservation to get in even on a week day night. The menus is all online and the cocktails are delicious. It is a great date night with a quiet bar friendly atmosphere. The mussels and pretzels were some of my favorite things but the menus had turned over a bit. Supporting local businesses is something I care about and for the price this place is worth checking out!

As a pescatarian this is a go-to! Great accommodating substitution and it's always yummy, small on the inside and a bit dark but that doesn't bother me :) love crumb and spigot!

Went on a Tuesday evening about 6. place was packed. Good thing we had a reservation. Nothing fancy for us. I like IPA's and the listed beers didnt have any. When i mentioned this to our waiter he told us about a half dozen craft beers on tap. I selected one he recommended and it was good. We had a pizza which started out as a peperoni but morphed into a peperoni meatball. The pizza overall was very good but the crust was exceptional. Overall a good experience although i thought the wine prices were very expensive.

I had a special, clam chowder stew. It was filled with fish and a delicious sauce. I would definitely order it again. My husband had the meatball pizza which we enjoyed again the next night. The whole experience was great. Our server was fantastic, food was delicious and many of the cocktails are crafted on site. We enjoyed the atmosphere. It is crowded and a little loud but felt good to us.

Great food and we've had our server Lauren several times, and she's really great! I ask for her everytime!

We were here tonight for dinner. The inside was very loud so we opted to sit outside. The food came out relatively quickly but I really didn't enjoy it. Everything was sooo salty. I almost couldn't eat anything at all. It was very hot and humid outside so it was uncomfortable. Don't think I'll be back. I usually like food on the salty side but this was too salty for me. The service was great though!

We were so excited that they opened back up and they did not disappoint! It was already getting crowded at 5:00, but we got in quickly as a party of 2 and started with drinks that were just as good as I remember. Then we shared a speck pizza and bbq pork sandwich and loved them both. The food is clearly the same as before, which is to say it is amazing and the pizza dough is so good! We will be back soon!

One of my favorite places to eat! I will definitely return to explore more of what this restaurant has to offer! I didn't know where to begin but my server Nicki knew exactly what to recommend and I wasn't disappointed with one bite! The ambiance is spot on! It's great service and delicious food that will make me come back for more!

I will start this out with we have dined here since this place opened at least 120 times. When it opened it was fun, hard to get into and the drinks were great as was the staff. Things have changed though since the new ownership group has taken over. The menu has not but the food has and not in a good way. Attention to detail is the key to success that is sourly missed now. Prices have been jacked up dramatically increasing the expense to dine. The wine by the glass that was as I called it keg wine was great but the new ownership removed that and basically removed affordable wine by the glass now. The liquor inventory behind the bar looks like they are skimping on backing up bottles. Recently we went in around 5:30 on a Friday. The 2 large family high top tables that can accommodate up to 16 diners was empty as were 3 or 4 tables. We were told they have NO SEATING inside as they had reservations. We did find seats at the bar however which were great. Over the next 80-90 minutes the empty seats stayed empty except for a couple that came in and occupied two seats. We watched people come in and wait a little bit and then leave. Allot of potential revenue walked out the door and the seats stayed empty. This was a Friday night that in the former days would have been standing room only was at roughly 50% capacity. Next month or so this facility expands into the space next door when they are struggling to fill the smaller space they currently operate out of. There were plenty of servers here also and they did not reach their income potential with empty seats everywhere The net net is this place seems to be run very poorly and needs a restart. Probably needs a new attentive manager. Very sad

The first thing I want to start off with is that there is a wait. It's a small restaurant and there is always a wait. However, it is worth it in every bit. This is a hidden gem in a strip mall like setting. When you walk in, you feel like you are in Treemont, Shaker Heights, or Lakewood. It has that kind of feel. It's crowded but fun. The atmosphere is inviting, electric, and relaxing all at the same time. It is dark but it makes it cozy. Now. The food. Oh wow. It is so delicious! We started off with the DRY AGED MEATBALLS with fresh pecorino, Uncle Sam's Marinara sauce, fresh bread. I'm not a fan of meatballs but wow were these good. Jammed packed with flavor. We also had a helping of the C&S SOFT PRETZEL with triple mustard, horseradish cheddar cheese dip which was served warm and these rosemary, butter nuts that were also warm. I would've just taken a bowl of those alone they were so good! We then were talking to our waitress about something we found interesting on the menu. They were woodfired oysters. We never have heard of warm oysters before so we were talking about it. She then said that it was worth trying and man was she right. There were four of us at our table and she brought out four oysters that had this breadcrumb mixture on top of them. Guys, seriously, those were beyond amazing! Now for dinner I had Carrot Bolognese slow roasted purple carrots with carrot top ricotta, fettuccine, and fresh basil. It was so delicious. The noodles are purple and there is some crunch too them. Side note - don't take this home for leftovers because it isn't as good the next day so just force it down and eat every last bite. My husband had the Sausage woodfired pizza. If you have looked at any of my other reviews you might have seen that we are pizza snobs and this was one of my husband's favorite pizzas in Cleveland which says a lot. Plus, their sausage is crumbled. Nothing beats crumbled sausage on pizza. My friends got the hanger steak. They were generous enough to let me have a small bite and they weren't over reacting when they took a bite and just starred at them selves. This steak legit melted in your mouth and was so perfectly cooked. Like I said, the wait is long but it is worth every second for this food. I highly recommend checking out this gem found on 306 in Chagrin Falls. You will not be disappointed.

The ambiance is great. Everything we had was yummy but it's all the things we didn't get that stuck with me. We will come back cause hopefully it was just a fluke. We were there @6:30 on a Saturday night. They were out of all red wines except 2 (the ones they had were $18 a glass). We ordered meatballs as an app, they ran out. I ordered steak with potatoes, right before our meal was delivered they were out of potatoes. The table beside us said they were out of dips for the pretzel appetizer. They just seemed to be out of so much...underprepared for a Saturday night. The waiter was great, and my steak was delicious! Hopefully on our next visit we are pleasantly surprised and it was just a fluke visit.

Went for dinner at 4:30 for husband's birthday. Not many others there. Food was great but service was very bad. Had to ask for ice 3 times. Had to ask for bread 3 times. Meanwhile a clump of employees were chatting behind the bar looking at phones and such. When we wanted a second glass of wine, after trying to get their attention and waiting for them to look up at patrons, husband finally had to go over to the bar to get a glass. One staff rolled his eyes? We have been there before. Food always good but service was atrocious for the price. No excuse / there were as many workers as patrons in the restaurant at the time. They clumped at the bar and ignored the patrons.

A great place, super food and welcoming help - bar is easy when busy. Food is not overly seasoned, just right. Definitely a place for family or guest from out of town.
