Crunch Fitness - Fountain Valley

Going in, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I know how important it is to stay physically active I’ve seen the difference it makes with my parents and grandparents…. My younger brother has been into fitness for a while, and I’ve been going to Crunch with him for a couple of years now. It’s actually been a much more enjoyable experience than I imagined. Sure, being sore isn’t always fun, but it’s a good feeling ….a reminder that I’m improving. Before joining, I hadn’t worked out much since high school, when I was on the wrestling team and in the best shape of my life. Getting back into it has been a pleasantly surprising experience. Liz is my training coach, and she’s been incredible … fun to be around, easy to talk to, and way more helpful than I ever expected. She’s made my training sessions something I actually look forward to each week. The staff at Crunch is also super friendly and welcoming. I’ve made great progress and I’ve lost body fat, gained muscle, and gotten stronger overall …I definitely plan to keep pursuing my fitness goals here!

THIS GYM IS AMAZING! The staff and the gym community here are so nice. They are helpful when I have questions and everyone is willing to help each other out. Shoutout to AMANDA PHAM. She's always in a positive mood which helps to jump start my day. There are lots of machines and treadmills which is nice because I don't really have to wait to finish up my workout. if you’re new to the fv area, going to crunch & signing up for PT with Annie and Tim is one of the best decisions you can make! they are so knowledgeable in their training & know how to target your goals & max out every workout y’all do together. take it from me- i’ve worked with Tim (thank you Annie for connecting us!!) since moving home & my glutes have DOUBLED! shout out to crunch fv for my favorite compliments!!

I’ve been into many gyms. I don’t really look for much besides customer service and cleanliness, this gym has it all. When my family and I were signing up, Amanda the general manager of this location helped us out a ton! With her pleasant personality and big smile she was able to explain all of the fees and little details to our membership. Super quick and easy, a good gym with good staff.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the gym manager Amanda who has demonstrated exceptional professionalism and responsiveness. For some time, the hot water in the bathroom was not functioning, and after I reported the issue to Amanda, she promptly took action to have it repaired. Thanks to Amanda efforts, the problem was resolved efficiently, and we now have reliable hot water once again. It is clear that she is a manager who genuinely prioritizes the comfort and satisfaction of gym members. I would like to see more people like Amanda working all across the Crunch organization.

I’ve been training with Tim since 2023, and he has truly been an incredible and consistent part of my health journey. Through his professionalism, empathy, and ability to push you to reach your full potential, he has helped me build not only physical strength but also confidence and a deeper appreciation for my overall health. Tim genuinely cares about his clients and meets you where you are while still challenging you to grow. Crunch Fitness in Fountain Valley is a well-run gym, and the positive environment really shows. Annie, the manager, has made a noticeable impact on the gym culture, creating a welcoming, motivating, and supportive space for everyone. I’m grateful for the team here and highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a strong community and excellent training support. Thank you!

Crunch Fitness has been an amazing gym overall, and what really sets it apart from other gyms in OC is the personal training. The trainers are incredibly dedicated to each client, and Tim is hands down one of the best trainers I’ve ever worked with. He’s extremely knowledgeable, motivating, and genuinely cares about helping you reach your goals in a way that’s optimal and truly tailored to you, while still pushing you to your full potential. Every session feels intentional, challenging, and empowering. Tim takes the time to explain proper form and knows when to push you, and celebrates progress no matter how small. Because of him, I feel stronger more confident, and actually excited to show up to the gym knowing I’m getting training that’s personalized and effective. The entire staff at Crunch makes the experience even better. Everyone is welcoming and supportive, especially Amanda and Annie, who always greet guests with a smile and go out of their way to create an exceptional experience every time. If you’re considering personal training at Crunch, or just a good gym with a great atmosphere I can’t recommend this specific Crunch enough!

I signed up for a promotional deal at Crunch Fountain Valley and was clearly told by the associate that it covered one full month. Instead, I was charged again after only one week. When I brought it up, the manager initially didn’t want to refund me. I gave two options: either honor the original one-month deal that was explained to me, or refund me and cancel the membership. She later said she was refunding me because the wrong deal had been given. Based on that, I reasonably assumed the membership was being canceled. It wasn’t. Not only was it never canceled, I was charged again for another month — and then told I would also have to pay a maintenance fee in order to cancel. I have not stepped foot in that gym since the day I signed up because of how this was handled. I haven’t used the facility, yet I’m being told I owe additional fees. At this point, it feels like I’m trapped in a membership I didn’t intend to keep. The lack of clarity and communication has been incredibly frustrating.

I been here a couple years ago but for the value for your money this crunch is fantastic. Plenty of parking. Weights, benches, squat racks and treadmills. Definitely a no nonsense gym to get in. Do your thang and get out.

BEWARE. I haven't been using the gym for the past year and got charged with a annual fee the night before. I decided to make the decision to cancel the next day and lo and behold. They will not refund, due to my contract agreement. I should of listened to online reviews before I joined. Y'all should do the same too. It's 2024, and MOST subscription based services would offer a refund as long as you didn't use the service. ie Amazon. By all technicality, sure, I took too long and I'm now paying for it. This does not included the monthly fee's I've been paying all this time by the way. I do not appreciate how the attitude was talking to the representatives of Crunch employees, they throw the rule book at you as if their life depended on it. Trust me guys, do your research and you can see far worse complaints than mine. Steer clear. IMO this ain't it. Enjoy my $60 crunch, you won't see me again and your terrible contracts and you probably lost more money from people seeing this review. TLDR: It is an absolute headache. Do your research.

Trial for 1 month and Crunch will not allow me to cancel until next month. Which Crunch start to charge my credit card for 34.99. Now Crunch want to charge the annual fee after I cancel it. A trial 1 month turn out cost me 34.99 + annual fee. What a ripped off. Will dispute with credit card charge.

My girlfriend and I came here for the first time since it's so close to our place now compared to the Garden Grove location and it was not bad! It was super packed on a Tuesday night and there isn't as big of an open space to do your own workouts. There definitely needs to be more leg machines rather than a bajillion bench presses. #MakeAmericaSquatAgain Unfortunately, there isn't a Sauna or a scale in the bathroom :( Staff was all very friendly though! Maybe too many staff. I don't think there needs to be 4 people checking everyone in. Music was great though. I'm sure we'll be back.

I am new to yoga, and I took a morning class with Gaby at Crunch! I really appreciate her being so welcoming and kind, and she took the time to check on everyone in class. Her instructions were clear, and she takes the time to demonstrate each step. I really appreciate her demonstrating the modifications that could be done for each step as well. I really appreciate her promoting a healthy mindset too! The guy who helped me at the front desk upon check in was also really welcoming as well! There was also a really friendly man I met in my yoga class, so there are some really nice people here! Plenty of parking at the gym as well.

Crunch Fitness-fountain Valley is SCAM place. They lie and a lot of hidden fees. We never want to come back this place

Favvv gym whenever im home from school. Eric is super helpful and has great customer service. It's extremely clean inside and even during busy hours you can still get on equipment.

I quit going to this gym but failed to cancel. When I did, they still charged me an annual fee for the upkeep of the equipment. I had not touched any of thier equipment in 2 years. I quit going because the staff was always rude, the music was far to heavy for a gentle workout, machines were constantly down for repair (I guess the fee they get annually never is used for its intended purpose). I tried cancelling over the phone but they would not let me so I had to wait for my internet to be restored to go online to cancel. They make it hard for you to do so in order to rip you off on the annual fee. Poorly run gym, rude staff, broken equipment....my suggestion is try another gym not this one.

I love the group fitness classes at 830 am! it's the perfect time after dropping off the kiddos and a wonderful sense of community seeing the same familiar faces! thank you @ Tena B for showing up to motivate us with a bright eyed smile and great playlists!

I have never experienced such unorganized management. Poor and delayed customer service when trying to adjust fee corrections and unreliable when it comes to being able to reach them for assistance.

This is definitely my home gym. The price is right, the remodel features more machines and tons of benches. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I want to give a shoutout to Eric. He's friendly, professional, hardworking, and dedicated to his job. Love it here!

Let me start by saying that I LOVE Crunch! I enjoy the convenience that there are multiple locations and that it's extremely well priced! You get so much for what you pay for! I always am able to find machines to work out on and really like how there are pictures/descriptions to help you. The gym is always clean and the staff is always kind. Management is great and personable, if you're thinking about signing up, JUST DO IT! Crunch has been such a great stepping stone to my fitness journey!

This is to all the community thinking about where to join a fitness club that desires a great environment, professionalism and a staff that will care about you and your fitness goals. AMANDA THE ASST, GENERAL MGR IS THE BEST. FRIENDLY, ALWAYS HAS A SMILE AND VERY ENCOURAGING. In this day and age, it's hard to find genuine customer appreciation. Customer appreciation is a far-gone conclusion but with Amanda it's a standard and she has that innate ability to bring joy to all members and guest. She goes the extra mile. Thank you, AMANDA! Now let's go, get up, get moving and come down to Crunch Fountain Valley.... they won't disappoint.

I love the new remodel! Just clean and staff are really friendly !! But the only thing they are missing is the T bar row for back!

This gym was a great find! I initially joined because they have regular Zumba classes, most weekday mornings and evenings. I've now added personal training also, currently Erica is working with me and I cannot believe the changes/improvements I saw in my body shape in just a few months. I've also done sessions with Khoi learning to box, which is fun. All the staff at the gym are very pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend!

tl,dr: I once bumped my rating from 3 stars to 4, but now it deserves 4.7! Over the past 6 months of my developing experience with Crunch FV, I'm now happy about many things here, and I look forward to return. Likes: - Management seems to be in tip-top shape. I've complained about various things here, and they seem to have heeded each notice and addressed everything as best they can. For example, I advised the disinfectant spray bottles to be labeled, and now they are! Feels like a more professional establishment already. I feel my constructive opinion matters here. - The receptionists at the front have been very friendly and understanding for me. - Though it gets kinda crowded here when clients get off from work, there are so many machines so people can still manage to stay spread out as they work out. Non-likes: - In my attached photo, you can see the chains on the right two-step Stairmaster are quite dilapidated, while the chains on the left machine look squeaky clean. If you try to operate the right machine, the steps seem to have excessive friction. Hope they can shed light on this. - There was a receptionist at the back who seemed more interested in his side conversation than me pointing out that a disinfectant spray bottle wasn't working (Fri ~7pm). - Might not be for a while, but I hope they build a swimming pool and other sports-related amenities, such as versatile badmin and sepak takraw courts, here someday. The best gym in the world deserves it. Minor suggestion: I like that the side gym room's class schedule has been updated, as I requested. However, it's still in paper. I suggest replacing it with a sort of e-book display, so you could update it remotely instead of having to send someone to replace the printed paper every week.

I've been to a few gyms, and this one is pretty great, one of the great things was my personal trainer Erica Tenwalde. She met me where I was at in my physique and had the perfect encouragement and advice, she's helped me do so many different types of workouts I didn't know even existed, she went the extra mile and wrote me a paper of things I can include in my diet to help with my working out, all in all, I've not only lost fat, but gained a decent amount of muscle since having her as a personal trainer, I definitely recommend her for anyone starting out or even just wanting someone to help stay disciplined!

The staff is so friendly and helpful!! I went into the locker rooms and it's always clean. Gym community is very respectful here and weights are organized.

I was an LA fitness member until I moved and found Crunch Fitness. This is a legit gym with an excellent training staff. I had the lead trainer Matt and he had a great game plan for my fitness. Matt gives great advice and keeps you motivated. I highly recommend using the personal trainers at this gym. Thumbs up to Matt and his staff

Unfortunately this gym has pushed me to my wits end. Every time I go in I have to prepare myself to enter the twilight zone. I'll give it credit that it's better than most 24hr fitnesses but that's just because the 24s around here all have pools so they just end up being grimy af in the bathroom. ANYWAY back to the issues at hand, all the deadlift platforms are broken. I was gonna let that slide but I'm including it because it's actually extremely dangerous and when brought up to a manager he tried arguing that. We just brought up a danger concern and then he tried belittling us? Weirdo activity. Apparently that's not a concern anymore because we spoke to the people above him and worked something out. But today, golly gee wiz. Set scene: I'm on the leg extension. I don't take a long time (only 3 sets total). I'm on my last set and a trainer with her client walk directly infront of me and stop probably six to twelves inches away. I finish my set, trainer asks how many sets I have left. I tell her "that was my last one" she says "oh awesome." I'm already a little like "y'all couldn't have maybe waited not within my personal space?"... not thrilled but it's not a crime (just lack of gym etiquette) so I get up to wipe/clean the machine. Takes no more than ten seconds. I come back to the client on the dirty machine with her water bottle ON TOP OF MY PHONE. These are grown adults with no common sense or sense of space apparently. Also my friend wanted me to add that the little silver weight rack doesn't hold the weights properly. He put it on like four times and it slide off and squished his finger. All that being said, I do really like the front desk people. Only had one wtf experience like a year ago but we reconciled. The rest are super chill. Just the occasional bewilderment particularly with the trainers.

This gym is the worst gym I've ever been a member of. The staff is never at the front desk, everyone who goes to this gym is beyond full of themselves and this is coming from an actual bodybuilder. The music they play never fits any mood and every time I come into this gym I feel like I'm in some sort of high school prison. I felt the need to get this off my chest after I just waited 10 minutes at the front desk with no attendant to tan then when she finally arrives she tells me I can only tan for 5 mins because they close in 5 after I waited for 10 for her to come up so I can tan. Which tanning is my only reason of keeping my membership at this point due to the misery this place brings ones life.

This gym is the best one i've gone so far, i moved from 24 hour fitness to Crunch FV, specifically because this one is cleaner and smells better. I feel comfortable working out here compared to other gym because the environment is more fitting and welcoming.

I'm sorry to have to write a negative review for the Crunch Fitness in Fountain Valley. It has been one of my favorite gyms (despite some things that I can overlook) until recently. Starting 2 years ago... Every year, the monthly prices increase. This past year, the price increased to $2.00 per month with a $10.00 increase in annual fee. The year prior was $1.00 per month with a $10.00 increase in annual fee to that year. It's stated that the increases in prices are due to, "Over the past year or more, we have experienced significant increases in our operating expenses." I don't mind the price increases. However, I don't understand your justification for the increases (as shown in the pictures and video that I've attached). One of the main problems with this gym is clogged showers. Your showers are always clogged, which is very dangerous and causes injuries (especially, if you add soap to the overflow). If you are going to increase the prices, stating due to "increases in our operating expenses", I would expect working showers (along with other amenities and service from staff in/at your gym). Am I wrong?? Edit to add: I've spoken to front desk on multiple occasions about the clogged showers but it seems like nothing is being done about it because the showers are still clogged when I use them. And not all front desk staff are friendly.

I canceled my membership due to finding another gym. They told me i should just continue paying the 10 a month until my full year subscription is over or i would just be paying $60 to cancel. They said my membership will be done in april and yet i still got charged $69 in may 1st. I called them to ask and was told i was suppose to come in 10 days before to cancel which i wasnt even notify that when i came in and talked to the front desk

Okay so I don't know why it shows up as Bethany on here but I guess that's my new name my name is Jaime and I just have to say that this has been my favorite place for a long time. The staff there super helpful and treat you so well, but Erica my personal trainer takes the cake for my favorite person there she has me looking good and confident and I've seen lots of improvement you guys rick

This is a pretty upscale location in my opinion. In terms of equipment being up to date, no noticeably broken machines, friendly staff and most importantly CLEANLINESS! I haven't been to a "bad" Crunch Fitness either. I've enjoyed all of the locations, however this one is the "nicest" one I've been to. I typically use the tanning booths and the Spin Room; this location has more expensive spin bikes than other locations I've been to. Some Crunch Fitness' don't have spin bikes (which is a bummer, so I can't speak on those locations.) overall I definitely recommend Crunch Fitness as a whole, but particularly this location. I bought a year's membership and I will be renewing soon.

All the staff is extremely friendly and they really do a great job at making you feel good about yourself.

Switched gyms from Esporta to Crunch and have been working out here for the last 3 months and I'll never turn back! I love it here. Great equipment, very updated, and new. Tons of bench presses and squat racks. Many treadmills and ellipticals to get that cardio in! The environment is definitely competitive. Everyone is very fit and young 20-30's y.o. If I didn't fit in this mold I probably would be intimidated to go to this gym. The only thing I would say is missing is a sauna room. I had to sacrifice a sauna room leaving Esporta sadly. Everyone at the front desk is really nice and never had any issues!

I strongly suggest that you don't sign up for a membership here. They mislead you to believe you're signing up with an annual fee of $49.99 and a monthly fee of $9.99, but don't tell you that in two months they are going to charge you an additional $59.99. Then when you call to ask what's going on and they give you some kind of answer that it's the annual fee and the $49.99 fee was a sign up fee. And you try to cancel they want to charge you an additional $60 rather than try to make things right with the customer. It's just false advertising and misinformation from this location and the website. Also there is no way to contact anyone from the corporate office, so your local branch manager is the only one you're stuck with talking to.

Love this place. The front desk is awesome the gym is clean really enjoy coming in and getting greeted by Eric he's so awesome and kind! This place has made my gym experience for fun and welcoming thank you crunch!

I am disappointed I felt the need to write this review. I joined Crunch in Fountain Valley a few years ago. Two of the main reasons I selected this particular gym: 1. Loads of great machines 2. Cleanliness For years this has been a spotless gym that had a top notch cleaning standard. Unfortunately, today was a very different story. I returned to the gym after taking a break since October and wow did I get a shock at how disgustingly dirty it was. There is a thick layer of dust around every machine and dirt/dust balls all over the gym floor. As you will see from the videos this thickness of dirt isn't just a week or two's build up, this dust has been compiling for quite some time. I am disappointed that none of the numerous managers there have addressed this issue and don't seem to take any pride in their location. I hope this is rectified and the level of cleanness can return to its previous standard, especially since we are in a pandemic.

I enjoy going to this gym for its crowd and the cleanliness of the gym. The front desk is always a vibe and you can always expect a greeting every time you go. Machines are always well maintained too.

Crunch is the cleanest gym that I've gone to. Plus I don't feel judged at all for working out there. I ended up getting a personal trainer, Erica Tenwalde, and she is AMAZING! her workout regimens have really helped me learn and grow in my fitness journey. And I have seen a great improvement in myself because of her. 10/10 would recommend her if you want a personal trainer.

By far Traveling through the all the Crunch in the LA/OC. This gym is so clean and the staff are very friendly. I just wish there a little bit more of equipment in here. It's do get packed at this location during prime time.

This was my home gym. I liked this gym for the most part. Friendly staff at the front desk and the gym is well maintained for the most part. Of course during rush hour 4-8pm it's difficult to get a bench or useba machine since it's PACKED. Unfortunately, they started using Amazon One to check in. There is NO REASON why a gym should require biometrics to check in. For this reason alone, I'm going to look for a different gym that does NOT require biometrics to sign in.

Good gym overall but the hours especially on the weekend are pretty terrible and might make me switch gyms.

I've been a crunch member for a few years, but been gyming at their FV location for about a year now. Staff is friendly and they always make sure to greet you at the door. Their manager is no exception, he is just as welcoming. This location is upkept and clean. I am happy with the management, staff and gym cleanliness so I keep coming in.

I have been working out here for over a year. The facility is consistently clean and equipment is maintained. Personal Trainer Erica gets a 5-Star rating. She is very professional and knowledgeable, does an excellent job of pre planning our workouts, cares about my goals and is helping me succeed in reaching those goals.

Amazing gym! The equipment is always clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They offer a wide range of classes that cater to all fitness levels. The locker rooms are always clean and spotless! For the price you pay, this is a great value that you're getting out of!!

This gym was the only gym open during the covid era so I thought I would give it a try. Well, I am still here! Characteristics I love about this gym is the safe parking, the gym lay out, bathrooms are consistently clean and best all all my incredibly enthusiastic and highly skilled trainer Tim. Tim's positivity and energy is so highly contagious, much like a attending a motivational seminar! Then I finish each session with the secret ultimate hydromassage which feels so good from head to toe. What an amazing mind/body maintenance program!

The gym itself is decent, this review is in regards to the personal training services they offer. If this review was done at this time in 2022 it would have been 5 stars or more. Reading the list of reviews any one mentioned is long gone. I have been doing sessions for just over two years now and was always satisfied and enjoyed my trainers and their services. But lately if I see the same trainer for 4 weeks in a row it is a miracle. They forget to mention you are still going to pay for your weekly session whether their trainer is there or not. I now have 6 sessions paid for that I can't use because they have No staff. The first thing any trainer will explain is that with out commitment there are no results. However in this case the only commitment that Crunch provides is the weekly payment. This is not a poor reflection or review of any of the trainers, it is a review of the management. Matt B does not commit to or treat his trainers with respect, and that lack of commitment gets pushed to the customers. He will also commit to scheduling you for trainers that are already booked or not there. Again his staffing issues should not be felt by the paying customers. Do Not enroll in personal training at Crunch FV until something changes, or you are throwing away your money.

I joined this gym when it first opened them left due to my son not being old enough to join yet wanting to work out. I've since rejoined and notice a definite lack of maintenance in the facility. At any given time, there are multiple treadmills not working (counted five this morning), machines squeak, bathrooms are dirty with thick layers of dust, and tvs aren't working. I've left staff know on two occasions but the reception wasn't very warm and seemed dismissive. Almost seems like they want your money but don't want to clean the facility or maintain the equipment.

Five stars for the staff, minus two for the equipment/maintenance. Hats off to the team here for being so friendly and enforcing masks/capacity limits during the peak of the pandemic! Especially to JP who is practically every gym clientele's bro here! They're all really cool and nice, throwing compliments even when you're just passing by. Probably best gym staff I've ever had and that's one of the main reasons I continue to go here. However, the equipment/maintenance is lacking a bit. While blessed to have four deadlift platforms and five dedicated squat racks, it seems every other month I may find a concerning stray bolt. Currently, two of the cable machines have been out of order for a bit over a month now (possibly two?) and some of the pads on other equipment such as the crunch machine need replacing. It might be a supply shortage that's prolonging this issue so I can't fault them too much. Equipment wise, it feels like plates are NEVER in the right place or easily found outside of the benches or bumper plates. The free weight area with dumbbells is also small, so it's a bit annoying that two of the benches are flat benches that can't adjust height or incline. Those nitpicks aside, this gym is solid for a commercial gym and I'd recommend over the other chains around.

I have nothing but glorifying reviews for this gym especially my personal trainer Tim. He took me on the most amazing journey on the road to fitness and pushed me beyond my limits. I can't thank him enough for the newfound strength I gained, the confidence I had in and out of the gym and the endurance to keep going. I have never worked with someone who is extremely passionate about health and fitness and excelled greatly at it. But he was it! Thank you Crunch Gym FV!

I usually went to Crunch Garden Grove, but since I moved, Fountain Valley has been my go to! Everyone on staff is super nice and welcoming. The gym is clean and there are sanitizing stations in multiple sections of the gym. It is smaller than Crunch Garden Grove, but I appreciate how the gym isn't too busy during the times that I go. I usually go after working (~7pm) or mid-day (~12-2pm). I love that there are plenty of circuits for when I go with my friend and although the squat racks and benches can get pretty busy, there's usually not too long of a wait when I go to that side with my boyfriend! The monthly membership is definitely reasonable, especially for access to all locations- I've checked out a few other gyms before and nothing compares to Crunch!

I was a member for 2+ years. I'm updating my review now that I'm no longer a member and have more experience with other gyms. Parking: Crunch anchors a large shopping plaza. There is plenty of parking up front. On a busy Saturday or holiday, you may have to walk a little further, though. Capacity/Peak Hours: This gym is pretty busy and you will likely have to wait for a barbell or dumbbell bench as well as a squat rack. There are least people in the early morning and it just picks up from there. Peak hours from my observation is ~3 to 4 PM on weekdays. The gym is most busy on Saturday for the entire day and can be completely unusable on holidays where it tends to take half the day off. Equipment: The dumbbells go up to 120 lbs. Dumbbells are well organized and always in the correct order. There are 2 sets of dumbbells for weight up to 80lb (not counting the ones in the HIIT section) and 1 set 85 lbs and above. There are 4 soldered dumbbell benches, 2 flat and 2 adjustable. The adjustable benches are very versatile and there is barely a gap when using as a flat bench. A tip if there are no benches in the area is that the gym has 4 additional non-soldered adjustable benches floating around. 2 are like the soldered ones and 2 are lower standing. Benches run out as I have mentioned and 2 are flat so I would contemplate coming here if my workout were very reliant on adjustable benches. There are also many barbell benches (flat/incline/decline) but I don't recall how many. I can say that aside from the decline they also happen to run out. Workout machines tend to be pretty new and there are lots of cable machines. There is a station to pick your cable addon like rope, etc. so you can adapt your exercises which I really like. The gym only has 1 pec dec so that gets taken often. Cancellation: Cancellations are very honest and straightforward. There is only 14 days advance notice and when you go in to cancel they will email you a confirmation after the process. Crowd: Crunch has a relatively fitter, younger crowd than other gyms. Many guys wearing cutoff tanks. Lots of GymShark. Many members look like they could be on steroids. The members are pretty friendly, though, and I see a lot of friendly banter between them. Conclusion: I really like this gym for the affordable price, good proportion of benches and squat racks (even if they run out), and straightforward cancellation process. I would definitely come here again.

Very welcoming staff--all ages. Especially love the Tues/Thurs evening classes with Leslie. Perfect for anyone looking to build strength and flexibility without injury. She's a great teacher and no two classes ever feel exactly the same. Great variety in her exercises.
