Guide to Visiting Disneyland Paris

"A spinning, primarily indoor coaster themed to a popular undersea film; its compact, tumbling layout makes it exceptionally popular and prone to long lines, so riders often find it worth purchasing an express access option or visiting early in the day." - Elizabeth Rhodes Elizabeth Rhodes Elizabeth Rhodes is a senior editor at Travel + Leisure, covering everything from luxury hotels to theme parks to must-pack travel products. This stays consistent as one of the longest queue times in Disneyland Paris wherein we waited for around 80 minutes. Was it worth it? I'll say maybe. The ride itself is very fun, thrilling and unique. It's a dark ride rollercoaster with a rotating cart. However, my biggest problem is with the queue. Not the queue time, but the fact that the initial queue (where most of your time will be spent) is just a simple zigzag line with metal fences. For other rides with long wait time, like Big Thunder Mountain, you are treated with a pretty view and a very on-theme queueing area. Another problem is technical issues. I've seen a lot of people online complain about technical issues being present, and what do you know we experienced it too. It wasn't that bad as it was only 10 minutes but it definitely is a turn-off, especially since we won't know if the ride would just be closed or not.

It's fantastic, but you're surprised at what you're getting into. It's shooting from side to side. It's over quickly. Definitely don't try to film it with a phone; there's a high risk of it falling off.

This ride had the longest queue during our visit. I went on it a few years ago when the queues were much shorter, but unfortunately, I couldn’t face the 120-minute wait this time. From memory, this ride is a rollercoaster in complete darkness, so it’s definitely not suitable for anyone who gets dizzy easily. > High speed rollercoaster in pitch-black darkness. > Extremely long queue, over 120 minutes.

One star is too generous. Crush’s Coaster with a Nemo theme has almost nothing to do with Nemo. You only see a few fish for one or two seconds, then you spin wildly in a pitch-black space until it suddenly stops. There’s absolutely no storytelling — it should be called Spinning in the Dark instead. Young children might find it very scary. Be really careful!

Great experience with many turns. The jellyfish part provided incredible views. Definitely worth the wait. It seems like an easier ride from the outside of it however it is not and possibly one of the rides that turn the most. Might be best to avoid it if you are feeling nauseaus. I would say that it is okay for children from 5-6 years of age.

Unless you get there early, and skip the line, I don't consider this attraction worth the wait. It's fun, and pretty thrilling, but the interior ride's theming is outdated and not particularly well themed - especially in the main thrill segment. My advice is to immediately go there when the park opens during Magic Hour, and QUICKLY get to the attraction on the right-side of the park. Unless you get there really early at the opening, you'll still be waiting about 15 minutes. Beyond this, expect a minimum 1 hour wait. Not trying to be a Debbie Downer, just saving you time during your visit!

Google
Expect random closures, waiting times over 1hr with zero entertainment. We stood in a queue here for 1hr 15min to be told it is closed for technical reasons. People left clueless for long time, no hints on reasons or possible timing. Surely this can happen, but one would expect good level of regular maintenance - Ratatouille next to it got closed for service before 12, Spider-Man WEB had one cabin malfunction extending queue time. Horrendous loss of time.

This one worth the wait. It's extreme and I was shaking after it. My girl loved it so much so she wanted to repeat it. Planning to use a premier pass next time to save those 85 minutes.

Yelp
ADORABLE roller coaster! Very popular attraction! The line got long really quickly. It was an hour wait for us. But this ride is just too cute to pass up! I mean, who doesn't want to ride in a turtle?!?!?! This roller coaster surprised me. It had lots of spins and went faster than I anticipated it would. Still, it was really fun. But maybe not for really young kids? I don't know if they would enjoy it that much since it does go pretty fast. A must see and ride at Walt Disney Studios Park! It is so unique and fun. I can't think of a roller coaster similar to this one. It truly is a one-of-a-kind roller coaster. I loved all the sea animals so much! :)

Yelp
After some thought, I imagine this coaster is really popular because it's a great kid-friendly coaster. Personally, I am into big thrill rides, so especially given typical wait times for this ride, I found it over-rated overall. There are much better coasters in both parks. The theming is cute, but it was definitely not thrilling the way that other rides are. For me, I wouldn't wait more than 30 minutes for this ride. So it was perfect that we went there first thing during early access. For this ride, I highly recommend going there first right when early access starts. We only waited 10-15 minutes.

Yelp
Super fun ride, reminded me of space mountain in Disneyland California but with more spins involved. Lots of crying little ones afterwards, but great for those who love a thriller!

Yelp
Very cute coaster at the park. We don't have this at Disneyland in Anaheim so I try to do all the things we don't have in my home park. It's was cute, fast...a little bumpy but totally radical. .....righteous.... Happy yelping mis amigos

Yelp
This was my favorite ride in Walt Disney Studios park! It's a pretty popular ride so even the single rider line will more than likely not be very much faster! The ride seats 4 people to one turtle. Try not to bring too big of a bag with you as there's very limited space to store it between your legs! It's not your typical roller coaster as you will be rotating in different directions throughout the ride. This is definitely a must ride! Unfortunately in the two times that I've been here, the ride has been down most of the time.

Yelp
Absolutely my favorite ride at Disney Paris. Don't want to spoil it for anyone that hasn't been, but if you like acceleration, fun, and Crush/Squirt, then you will love this ride. The lines are usually super long with waits around 1 hour so make sure to hit this ride first thing when the park opens to make sure you check it off your bucket list.
