I have been a loyal customer of Crust since the first day it opened. I have stood in long lines for holiday pies & goodies. I have eaten in their restaurant many times. Things that I love here: lemon scones, chocolate chip scones, any of their cookies, English muffin bread, orange and & cranberry biscottis, vegetarian quiches, pecan pie, and their big pretzels.
So it pains me to have to give them a three-star rating, but I am very close to giving up totally on Crust. Their prices keep going up, even after they introduced the 3% credit card fee. And then they keep changing their baking schedule around for breads. I live 30 min away from Crust. I have wasted too many trips to find out the breads or scones I came for aren’t available.
After my last trip to Crust - when the staff informed me they changed their baking schedule (yet again!) and didn’t have what I came for on that day - I have decided I am going to give up on this place. If I’m in town, I may stop by. But no more special trips. I’m tired of being disappointed. I attached a photo of their new baking schedule so no one else wastes a trip to this place like me.
