Crystal Dive Koh Tao

Did my SSI divemaster with crystal and really enjoyed the experience. The program was designed in which I got to improve my skill and knowledge in diving, also to experience and learn about teaching diving and interacting with students and real clients. The instructors are very knowledgeable and attentive, they are ready to help you if you have questions. It was also super lovely to be able to meet and spend time with the fellow dive master candidates there, we got to do a lot of fun dives together during our training, many beautiful memories created.

As someone who isn’t a great swimmer, I was quite nervous at first, but Evan’s patience, clear instructions, and calm demeanor kept me feeling safe and confident throughout. Was so lucky to have Michaella as my diving instructor for both the open water and advanced courses. This was my first time diving and I always felt absolutely safe underwater with her as the instructor. In only five days, my dive buddy and I, became super comfortable in the water with all the gear and we had so much fun. I have I only great things to say about this experience. After looking at many options to complete an open water diver program at Koh Tao, we chose Crystal Dive and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Our instructor Kelvin was great from day 1, he made us feel comfortable and very safe and he was very patient when explaining the fundamentals of diving. Would definitely recommend to go for it, we requested accommodation as well and the rooms were great right by the beach and next to the dive center. Thank you Crystal Dive and Kelvin for our making our first diving experience unforgettable!

Amazing experience learning to dive with Crystal! I started by doing a discover dive as I wasn’t sure about going for open water, and by the time we had left I had done my advanced qualification! The whole team are so friendly and encouraging, and Alex, our instructor, really helped me. He was very patient with me being nervous, and seriously helped to encourage me to try new things, and made me love scuba diving! A great instructor, and a great place to learnt to dive. We also loved Vicky’s videography, which was great footage to have as first time divers! We ended up extending our stay and diving 21 times with crystal, between the two of us! Cannot recommend enough.

I had the best time learning how to dive at Crystal. Sandy and Evandro were the most amazing instructors. They explained everything with the perfect amount of detail to ensure that we truly understood the fundamentals of diving. They were incredible teachers; their humour, ability to calm us down, and ample knowledge about diving and the ocean in general is what made our whole group stay for our advanced open water. I would’ve stayed longer and done every course possible if time permitted, but I will 100% be back one day to do more dives. I truly cannot thank my teachers enough for sparking this new love for scuba diving within me. This course helped me make friends that I am going to continue to travel with. I will recommend this diving centre and my 2 wonderful instructors Sandy and Evan to everyone I know! THANK YOU!

Chose Crystal after looking at a few recommended dive schools - definitely made the right choice! The center is very organized and well managed - down to booking dives and courses, diving equipment, accommodation, onboard team at the boat. Did here my Open Water and Advanced certifications and enjoyed it so much I did Deep Dive Specialty too. Claire the instructor was amazing! She was super energetic and fun and at the same time professional and made sure everyone is safe and comfortable (shoutout to Natalie the best assistant instructor!) Evan the instructor was also awesome and very knowledgeable. The whole of Crystal team are super nice people and making a good vibe with laughs on the boat and on land. It was also the cheapest center I've seen if you do both OW and Advanced with them, AND they offer a free private room for the duration of the course (and discounts if you do specialties or fun dives). Even the full price for the room is pretty cheap at 800 baht, and the room is great with private bathroom. Can't recommend enough!

After looking at what felt like a 1000 dive centres, I decided to choose Crystal dive and it was the best choice I made. I had the most amazing experience obtaining my open and advanced water certification. The facilities and staff were brilliant. Ana my instructor put me at ease from the minute we met. Her passion for diving and the way she instructed and shared the learning was just amazing. Highly recommend them!!
