Very quiet. The service from the whole team was rock stars and very attentive. Asking for extra things, not a problem, and everyone, no matter their position, was eager to help. The pool was nice, and the hot tub, sauna, and workout gym were a bonus. The breakfast bar was filling. Everything was clean. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. I would recommend this for your trips no matter the reason . My son was at the U of U, but the staff made you feel like family! 😉💚💙

Google
Amazing stay! The staff is very welcoming and super helpful. The room is nice and modern. You can hear the noise from the corridor but it wasn’t loud enough to be a problem. The breakfast is great. There is everything you might want to eat: eggs, fruits, cereals, yogurts, coffee…This location is central as you can walk to Salt Lake City downtown. Would definitely stay again.

Google
Great location. Beautiful clean rooms with plenty of space. I love that the rooms have a mini refrigerator and a microwave. The pool and hot tub are indoors which is great for the winter time. The only issue that I have is that the armoire, microwave and refrigerator should be moved so that the dresser and TV could be in front of the bed for a more convenient TV viewing.

Google
The location is good, just outside the center. The room is big with two queen beds. There is a desk, a fridge, coffee maker and a sofa. The bathroom is clean. Wifi is unstable and slow, I even had to make a call myself to get a connection working, which is actually not my job. The breakfast buffet is very good and so is the sleep quality. With better wifi my rating would have been 5 balls, but that was the only flaw.

Google
Great hotel with free parking and breakfast. Close to the old town of SLC. They also offer shuttle services to SLC airport. The location was convenient for the old town. A bit far away from the University. There is no real grocery store within walking distance.

Google
Overall great spot? Breakfast was not too bad, especially included in the price. Pool area open til midnight definitely the highlight for us!! Very clean which is a bonus! Not far from things around town either. I would recommend Crystal inn in this location for sure.

Google
If you want a place to stay this is the place to come to. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were out of this way helpful and nice. We forgot a phone charger for an iPhone they had one that we could borrow for the night. When I arrived they told me I was a VIP member to something and gave me a little gift. They gave us a free soda when we arrived. The breakfast was worth it it had so many options I recommend the eggs with cheese. They had so many options for breakfast you could never go wrong. They even had iced coffee. Thank you I will stay there again

Google
Loved our stay here!! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with warmth.. the young girl at the desk (I wish I caught her name) was nothing but accommodating.. we were early and asked to have our bags looked after but she gave us keys to our room without hesitation.. breakfast was included aswell as our airport shuttle at no extra charge.. the location was also on point, within walking distance to everything we needed:) would definitely recommend crystal inn hotel to anyone visiting Salt Lake City:) x

Yelp
Of course, there may be plenty of places in town that offer the luxury city feeling you may desire, but I would highly recommend Crystal Inn for many reasons. The price of this hotel was great considering the great, accessible location, parking is also included, which is a nice touch. Very close and walkable to everything, with good restaurants just a block or so over. For your convenience, if you so desire, McDonald's is even open next door what seems to be all hours of the day. The hotel offers complimentary continental breakfast (not my thing, but it's nice that they offer it) with a good variety also, as well as coffee - even a dispenser for iced coffee. Their little store with snacks and goodies has the biggest variety of pick me ups offered by a hotel. My husband and I stayed a few days here in SLC for the first time, and the general consensus of people, including your team here at this hotel, was the service and friendliness were exemplary. I would like to give a big kudos to Emerson (I believe that was his name) whose kindness really stood out. He was so kind and patient from the moment we checked in, even giving us a list of restaurants that were open on Thanksgivings, and when I asked about local activities, he wrote down some suggestions for local things to do. Excellent service and very kind. We got the 'vip' upgrade perhaps because we booked with Expedia, but nevertheless, I was very surprised to stay in the room with the big jetted tub in it. They also offered us bottled water and a few snacks. The room furnishings were average of what you'd expect, but everything was very clean. The bathtub in the room was sparkling clean - this was even better than the time we booked a room in a major Vegas hotel with a tub, that wound up having hair and dirt in it. The bed was comfortable, lots of places to charge things, and good space for all your stuff. The hotel also has an indoor pool, sauna, and gym. Once again, the hotel is not fancy or upscale, or modern at all, but everything is clean, comfortable, upkept, and the people are nice - this is an anomaly when you come from Los Angeles.

Yelp
I had higher hopes for this hotel after all the positive reviews, so my boyfriend at the time and I decided to try this out in October, 2021 while in town to visit family, Pros were the price and ease of the reservation. Free parking is a great selling point! However, our hallway on the third floor was either musty or just smelled like sewer. It was always a rush to get into the room which was carpeted yet had a sink in the living area! What a recipe for mildew! I hated that layout. We also chose this place for the complimentary breakfast but at the time, the world was social distancing and we had to grab our food and eat it on our rooms. Depressing. I still drive by here and cringe: I hope it's improved over the years.

Daniel B.

Yelp
The hotel location is close to most things downtown and convenient. Plenty of parking . The rooms are dated but ok. We got a jetted tub sweet and the hot water wasn't great and we weren't able to enjoy the tub as much as we would have liked . Bed was ok pillows not great. The walls are thin and could hear people all night. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was better than expected. I'd stay again but not the king suite with the tub.

Christopher I.

Yelp
I stayed here for a week when I visited Salt Lake City. Customer service was good. I liked the breakfast they served every morning from 6am to 9am. The room was a good size with a small couch. The bed was comfortable. Parking was free, but they take your car information, then give you a receipt to put on the dashboard in your car so you can park in their parking lot. The hotel is right in downtown, so there are a lot of restaurants and stores within walking distance. The only thing I didn't like was that you can hear people talking or laughing as they walked by your room, even with your front door closed. I still recommend this hotel, especially for the price. :)

Kimberly N.

Yelp
We booked this hotel as an alternative to the nearby Hampton Inn because of the reviews. While the people manning the front desk were super friendly and helpful, the hotel itself was just ok. The room was clean but dated. I don't understand all the positive breakfast reviews unless the two mornings we had there were a fluke. The potatoes both mornings were undercooked and they apparently had a secret stash of bananas in the back because we saw a person ask about them and a worker brought him one. There were dry cinnamon pastries and bland everything else. But the location was good - we walked everywhere. Overall, it was an ok stay.

Anthony D.

Yelp
Me, my wife, and daughter chose this place for its location as well as its higher reviews. Unfortunately our room is not so clean. Our bed comforter has multiple stains on it, random hair inside the bed, walls are stained, and hair in the bathroom towels. When I went down to the front desk and asked for a new comforter, they weren't surprised to hear about the bed sheet stains and at least gave us a new comforter. Only to have another stain on that one too.

Charlotte C.

Yelp
This place was an okay stay. I booked through Expedia so the price was pretty good at about $109 a night for a two bed room for three nights in a holiday weekend. They offer free parking and free breakfast. Just make sure they give you the correct hours because they gave us the wrong hours on the holiday and we missed it which was a bummer. But honestly the breakfast was pretty decent. They would have some mix of eggs, pancakes or French toast, toast/bagels/danishes, sausage or bacon, oatmeal/cereal, etc. they also have different types of juices and coffees and hot chocolate. Now for the actual room, it looked nice enough. When you walked in, the bathroom itself had a toilet and the shower/tub. And there was a double sink that was outside of the bathroom which was nice. There were two double beds with the window. It was weird because the window opened and there was no screen so that was just strange. they had DIRECTV, and Wi-Fi and they give you the code when you check in. There was a little mildew funk to the room and the bathtub didn't drain great. The fridge also didn't keep stuff very cold but none of those were deal breakers. Overall for the price and location that we needed it worked and I would consider staying there again.

Andrew L.

Yelp
I don't know how this place can get 4 stars reviews I'm thinking either most of them are fake or people staying here just have very low expectations. First of all the good: the breakfast here is above average very decent for complimentary breakfast. The location is very good. The air conditioning works well. Bad: wifi is absolutely unusable. I have to use my own hotspot just to check basic websites. Only usable to check emails. There's blood stains on bath towels and pillow cases! Disgusting how they have such low standards. The room has an old person musky BO smell when you enter and the decor from the carpet, to the walls looks like something from an 80s film but worn down. You can also clearly hear the people above you walking around when you're trying to sleep. Definitely not 4 stars!

Paul L.

Yelp
Hot, humid, smelly (?mold), no safety bars or antislip device in the tub, $200 total ... will not be back.

Catherine W.

Yelp
I usually stay at another place and have for 27 years but the price was ridiculous and we had a family member in the hospital so we chose this one. It was surprisingly clean. I notice finger prints in elevators and on door handles, there were none to be seen! The room is older but comfortable. We chose the King with a dry bar, basically a suite with a separate living room. The loveseat and chair are very clean and comfortable. There is also a coffee table a swivel television and a desk. The bed is separated by the the bathroom and there is a microwave and fridge. Yes, it is downtown and within walking distance of lots of restaurants and parks but as with all cities there are plenty of colorful people without homes but that doesn't bother me. The staff is extremely professional and polite and yes, you must wear your mask which is great, Covid or not. I would and will absolutely stay here again.

Camille V.

Yelp
Clean, safe and comfortable place to stay. Decent breakfast and pool, friendly staff.

Chris B.

Yelp
I was not a fan of the breakfast options, which were inconsistent and quite poor. I also found the room to be dated. The wifi was unusable. I would never stay here for a work/business trip.

Miss S.

Yelp
From the drive up to this Hotel not a good look, people hanging out around the location, the inside is outdated needs renovation, carpet needs to be replaced complimentary soap and shampoo must be prison issued, People screaming in the hotel at night, cleaning staff does not come until later in the afternoon. Small refrigerator barely gets cold. Good thing about the hotel Manager was nice and location is close to everything downtown.

Isaiah G.

Yelp
We came here during Covid-19. It was in a very good location with a ton of restaurants around. There was a lot of parking. The front desk was there 24/7 very nice and helpful man. Everything was very clean here. The room was huge and it was very well designed. I felt I was in an apartment. The tub was amazing and big enough to fit two people and the bed was very comfortable.i would definitely stay here again.also the hotel sells a lot of things you would need at the store.

Ella M.

Yelp
Pretty good stay! The rooms were very spacious! The breakfast was alright. Definitely lots of fruit which was good! Overall a good stay

Arin D.

Yelp
The staff was very friendly and picked me up according at the airport. Make sure you CALL THEM when you need to be picked up. Hotel was clean, good breakfast. My three stars are for how loud it was in the halls & the commotion of other guests. Adults were running down the halls after getting out of the indoor pool. The whole floor would SHAKE. I recommend getting on the far NORTH END of the hotel away from the pool & front elevator. Also, had to call management bc people next door had like 8 little kids jumping off the beds and hitting the walls for over an hour. I guess you got to deal with this with large Mormon families in Utah :/. Very badly behaved kids screaming in halls. Pay more elsewhere if you don't want to deal with it. I understand it's not entirely their fault.

Julia C.

Yelp
Currently, the hotel is serving a bagged breakfast from 6am-9am. Normally, they serve a buffet breakfast from 6am-9:30am on weekdays and 7am-10am on weekends, but they have moved to a bagged breakfast due to the unique circumstances. I applaud their efforts to keep their guests safe!

Pj P.

Yelp
I don't understand how this place is highly rated. I let my wife do the booking for the place we will be staying for our trip and she selected this one based on its high ratings. Utter dissapointment that I found myself blaming my wife. First, it is a struggle to find the hotel's front. The space for drop off is so narrow and place for parking is very limited. Second, if you hate the smell of mold and old carpet stay away from this place. Third, although the room is quite roomy, there are still plenty to complain. Old squishy mattress is one. Another one is the drain on the shower is clogged. Almost used up toilet paper. The list goes on. If you're visiting Salt Lake City and found yourself getting a good deal with this place, please stay somewhere else, you deserve better. Cherry on top is the creepy white curtains on the front desk that resembles certain curtains.

Sheen R.

Yelp
I prepaid for a 4 night stay through a 3rd party site I've had excellent interactions with in the past. Now suddenly they're overbooked and I'm forced to find another place to stay. Pitiful way of doing business. Tried to give a smaller company my business but this kind of "service" discourages me from giving some unknown business my support. Since it was a prepaid room, my guess is Crystal gets as much as possible prepaid then dumps the loser (which is me and my daughter I guess).

Maria H.

Yelp
It's not a five star hotel by any means, but it is definitely clean and a good value for the cost. Nothing fancy or unique, just a good place to sleep for the night. Front desk was friendly and helpful. We were a large party with four rooms and for only one night. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, but it seemed to look good as we passed through the lobby in the morning. Would definitely recommend for price and cleanliness.

Nina C.

Yelp
Huge, spotlessly clean room, convenient downtown location, and friendly staff. More bonuses include free airport shuttle, pool and (very small) gym, and an extensive free buffet breakfast with a different selection of hot options daily. If you have a car, free parking too! I thought this hotel provided great value for the money. One star off for the noise level. I'm a light sleeper and my elevator-adjacent room was not very quiet.

Kat B.

Yelp
**I accidentally posted my review at the wrong location, so I've pasted it correctly here: 3.5 stars, but I'll round up because of their breakfast selection that's free ninety-nine. We had stayed here for a week in January to attend the Sundance Film Festival, mainly based in Park City. It's an inconvenient 40 minute drive over, but we saved a bunch of money on lodging by staying in SLC. PROS: -- free shuttle to and from airport (very useful!) -- free parking (there's a car rental place across the street) -- free breakfast as mentioned (surprisingly had a good variety: fruits, hot foods, cereal, bread section, and a juice station with Passion Orange Guava as an option, so niche) -- good-sized room with microwave, mini fridge, wi-fi -- convenience store corner for snacks, toiletries -- nice waiting area with fireplace and complimentary newspaper -- walking distance to Rose Wagner theatre and Squatters Brewery CONS: -- customer service (it's the only one con of our stay, but of course, we remember it the most.) Our check-in was fine. It was fast because no one was in line, the receptionist was neither mean nor friendly, just indifferent. With Crystal Inn being advertised as a VIP+ Expedia partner and hyping all the perks of this, they should at least pretend to be friendlier. The luggage storage is literally inside their pantry, haha. This is fine, but the older guy helping us seemed inconvenienced by our storage request. When asked about the shuttle, he responded condescendingly. Another incident is when my BF literally got stopped by one of the front desk older ladies who was in the middle of helping another guest. My BF was making his way to the lobby bathroom, but got interrogated like he was a criminal. It's freezing, so I'm sure everyone looks like a hoodlum and/or homeless in winter, but come on. You really going to call someone out because you mistakenly profiled them? She must have felt foolish because she brought out the platter of afternoon cookies when she realized he was a guest. Overall, we still had a good stay. For a budget hotel, it exceeds with its amenities, but the customer service was lacking.

Cindy S.

Yelp
Don't hotels usually clean their rooms everyday? Not crystal Inn. We were told a day later that we have to request our room to be cleaned but if we need clean towels we have to pick them up from the front desk. No deliveries to our room! The front desk never shared this info when we checked in.

Kim B.

Yelp
This is by far the scariest and worse hotel I've ever been to. Wish i could have gotten the chance to show staff my videos I've taken of my stay. They refused to speak to me. They are the reason i now have a lifelong scar. Please watch and share my video. Please help make all current and future guests be aware of what they are paying for. https://youtu.be/1r0kpCPvVSY Thanks Kimber. Check out my you tube video. I don't know how else to share it. I tried on Facebook but it won't post. Im not sure how to make my you tube video go viral. https://youtu.be/1r0kpCPvVSY https://youtu.be/1r0kpCPvVSY

Yelp
I stayed here because I was in town for a soccer tournament. The hotel was fully booked for this reason. All kinds of kids running around. Somehow I get called out for the kids running around and now I am on this special watch list because the night manager keeps coming to the room to address sound. The hotel must be old but sound quality is very poor. Apparently any walking sounds like a a parade walking through.

Mique M.

Yelp
Stayed at Crystal inn hotel in Salt Lake City for a couple of days with my family and it was nice Mike was awesome, every employee I encounter they greased me with a smile, continental breaksfast was awesome!! My only con was the carpet had a lot of dog hair, I have a 1.5 year old we did not let him be on the carpet, this does not reflect my experience at the hotel ! Thank you !!

Jerry R.

Yelp
This property is right downtown, within a block or two of pubs, a sushi place, P.F. Changs, the theater, you name it. We parked our car (for free -- Doubletree just around the corner charges $12) and walked everywhere we wanted to go. The room was very clean and in good repair. We got a suite with an in-room jacuzzi that was big enough for both of us to relax in together. Service was friendly and efficient, and the complementary cookies were delicious. For the price, this hotel can't be beat.

April H.

Yelp
Wow, I am super impressed with Crystal Inn. Due to a last minute change in plans we needed to book a new hotel the day before the stay and Crystal Inn seemed ok and was available for a very reasonable price. I will start with the only bad part and in no way is this the fault of the hotel, I just want to warn people. There a lots of homeless people right in the area of the hotel. The hotel IS in downtown and you can walk pretty much everywhere from there so it makes sense. The check in process was fast and easy, all the employees I encountered during my stay were fantastic. The hotel is also doing a great job of cleaning and following COVID guidelines. Our room was gigantic and very comfortable. Great place to stay at a great price.

Anthony T.

Yelp
I booked this hotel 6 months in advance to attend frozen fury at vivant arena (go kings go!).I booked through southwest airlines, which books through booking.com. It is a small chain hotel. The check in process was easy, and they even allowed me to check in about a hour early as my flight was early. The young lady that checked us in was helpful and explained where all the local stores for any supplies were with a map. This hotel was immaculately clean, though it does show its age. Our room on the fourth floor had a giant pigeon bomb(poop) on the window, but I know that's hard to control. The breakfast selection at the buffet in the morning is good and changes daily. It can get get crowded and most of the other guests can be rude, so bring your patients. Close to the traxx station only 2 blocks to the east and short ride to the arena station. SLC blocks are long though. There are a lot of homeless around, but it is a big city. I never felt unsafe, but then again I'm from LA. It's not just this hotel, it's around the entire downtown area. Some of the staff could be a little friendlier, no one was rude. Just didn't acknowledge you most of the time, and don't expect any shampoo, conditioner,or soap other than super small basic stuff, as ours forgot to get packed. They do sell those items in the lobby

Sherry H.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. You walk into a warm greeting and a small gift package. We also choose a king bed. This room had us all written over it. Sinks were outside bathroom, had a tub, a partition wall for the sleeping and tv watching. They had a love seat and couch. Bed was very comfortable. Let me just tell you the breakfast was the best. Large hash browns for which I put there pico all over. The had croissant ham and cheese, delish. They had all cereal, fruit and sausage. I will always keep this in my travels.

Sheila G.

Yelp
I had never been to Salt Lake City, Utah. Crystal Inn Hotel was our designated place to meet the AdventureBus to take our week long trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons. Coming from Cincinnati, OH, I was so happy to arrive at the airport and received immediate pick up after my phone call to take me to the Crystal Inn Hotel. The amenities include coffee, complete breakfast, microwave, refrigerator, tv, WiFi, pool and spa with walking to restaurants and rental cars. Rooms a very clean and employees are so very accommodating. So I stayed in this hotel for a night at the start of my trip and one prior to going home . Both rooms were lovely suites with separate sitting area. The hotel employees were gracious enough to give me the room early, keep my bags after checking out and shuttle me to the airport after checking out. Not sure when I have received such good service. FYI. Stay away from budget rental across the street Also, Pioneer Park seems to have many homeless But police support and security is visible

Kinsey F.

Yelp
Thanks for a great stay! During this COVID time, we were just trying to make it back to our home state and this was the stop over. Alex at the front desk was extremely kind and we are Expedia members so they had a cool perks program through Expedia. They were keeping the hotel remarkably clean and I was very thankful that they were open. All staff worked very hard but Alex checked us in and gave us some take out dinner options in the area (plus a 10% off card at one of the breweries nearby). Thank you Crystal Inn. They made an effort to provide to go breakfast which was a bag to go with a muffin or cinnamon roll and some snacks (Trail nic, granola bars, fruit). I will be returning and thank you again to the staff for handling the current events with grace! You have no idea how comforting it was.

James Y.

Yelp
Our company has us make reservations through the Concur website for business travel. Most of the time, the selection of hotels are chain ones that are low cost. I originally made it with one of those but my boss saw that and said we are staying here. The hotel is located on a very busy 5 lane (one way) road. The staff was great upon check in. Got checked in and up to the room. It was very roomy. There was a mini wall that separated the bed and the couch/work area. The room was very clean and comfortable. The wash sink was separate from the restroom but had a lot of space to put your toiletries. They also have breakfast which was one of the best ones I've had. They have a wide range of items, bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with ham, fresh cut fruit, and pancakes (I didn't see them until I was finished). It was great. All in all, I would stay again.

Nicole V.

Yelp
I enjoyed my stay at Crystal Inn, but it was not a 5 star experience. I booked my stay through hotels.com. checking in was easy and I was given 2 keys. The front desk staff was really nice and mentioned the option of parking closer to our room and using an elevator at the rear of the building for ease. We used it a couple of times as the front elevator does get its uses from other patrons of the hotel. The room was nice. However, the light above the sink did not work. I made do with other lights in the room, but I'm guessing the light switch only powered that one light and it did not even work. The hotel toiletries were bath and body works rain kissed leaves which I loved. The room also come with a desk, microwave and refrigerator. There is also a room on the first floor for guest laundry. There is a free continental breakfast for guests and $10+ tax for non guests. It is all you can eat with eggs, bacon, potatoes, French toast, otameal, yogurt, fruit and cereal. They also have a variety of juices, coffee, and milk. The pastry table on the side had pastries, toast and english muffins with a toaster. My key cards did expire 3 hrs before checkout, which was a bit inconvenient but the staff apologized and the error was corrected. Overall, great stay and I would come back.

Carmen P.

Yelp
Was very satisfied with crystal inn being able to accommodate us . Had an amazing experience here also they offered breakfast to go due to Covid . There was an Hispanic lady she was very friendly and helpful . Will be back

Jason C.

Yelp
Modern, well appointed (9 plugs and 2 USB ports), clean, pleasant lighting, and comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean and had little racks in the shower to hold your bottles. Shower pressure was strong!!! All a recipe for success. All is not perfect. Outside door key card reader was finicky. A/C, while cold, didn't run on auto mode. We had to manually leave it on. Check in was quick and hot breakfast buffet included. Breakfast was top notch. Full of fruit, eggs, meat and cereal options. I had the eggs with mushrooms and spinach.

Jose M.

Yelp
Wonderful stay here. The staff is approachable and very helpful. They clean the rooms very well. They are quick to remedy any issues. Had a problem with one of their washers and they were quick to refund and provided the wash and dry at no charge. They serve boxed breakfast here in the meantime. Really great stay

Kristina M.

Yelp
When I landed I called the hotel to request a shuttle. Within 10 minutes they were there and I was driven to the hotel. I will admit that I had a lovely ride to the hotel as the driver was very friendly and answered all of the questions that I asked about SLC. As I arrived to the hotel, I was met with friendly staff as I checked in. I was promptly given a key and took the elevator to my room. The hotel on appearance was pretty clean. As I walked to my room, and opened the door, everything was in place and again clean. The king sized bed was made nicely. Also I must mention, breakfast is free. Continental breakfast to include eggs, meat selection, pancake or french toast, fruit, cereal, donuts, toast, bagels, oatmeal, etc. I found it to be plentiful and it tasted pretty good. No complaints here. Overall, I will say the hotel was pretty good. However, the wifi was pretty slow and inconsistent.

Edwina D.

Yelp
I booked Crystal Inn for the Columbus Day weekend which was surprisingly pricey when I was looking for rooms back in August. Little did I know, it was General Conference weekend for the LDS church, which explains the hike in prices. Fortunately, I used credit card points which shaved $100 from the total price. Overall, I was very happy with my stay here. From the airport shuttle, to hot breakfast in the lobby, free wifi, and spacious rooms, Crystal Inn was a pleasant surprise! The staff were very helpful and gave us maps of the area and directions when we needed it. The shape of the building is rectangular, so the rooms are quite long from end to end. Since we didn't have a car, the only downside was the location. It was a good 10 minute walk from the Courthouse TRAX station, which isn't far, but not the most convenient spot if you want to visit certain types of shops or restaurants. I'll probably rent a car the next time I visit SLC, or consider staying somewhere close to downtown if I'm car-less. Location aside, Crystal Inn was clean, had everything I needed for my stay, and is located less than 15 minutes away from the airport. It's a great spot for a short trip or if you're passing through town!

Yelp
Having to stay here unexpectedly due to our flight being delayed. They were able to give us an early check in and the guy who I spoke to at check in was very nice and accommodating. The rooms were a bit outdated but that's understandable for such an old hotel. Noise level was moderate as we heard no outside noise but we were able to hear other people who were staying above us and out in the halls. We didn't get a chance to try their breakfast as we slept in, but front desk let us know they would be already boxed due to covid. We stayed in the "king bar" which was roomy with a comfy bed and a nice seating area. The TV was way too small for us. Overall it was a nice stay and we had no issues.

Yelp
We arrived on a super snowy and cold day, but were greeted with warm smiles! We went to our room to find a MASSIVE room, a much improvement from the last place we stayed on the trip. While the rooms were a little dated, they were perfect for placing ALL of our luggage; i.e. skies and other snow necessities. The spa/pool/sauna area was great! It had large windows that allowed you to be relaxing in the spa/pool while watching snow fall outside. The breakfast was wonderful as well. If ever in the Salt Lake Area, make sure to stay at the Crystal Inn. Great service, large rooms,, worth the cost, centrally located, and great breakfast! *If I could I would give it 4.5; only reason for the star knock is the outdated room decor*

Yelp
This hotel is reasonably priced and relatively clean. By relatively clean, I mean the room bathroom are clean and updated for the most part. What wasn't clean were the sheets. Once I pulled back the covers to get into bed, there was a substantial amount of hair...curly hair, if you know what I mean. I called the front desk for a change of sheets and not only did they not offer to change them for me, but they made me go downstairs to pick them up myself. There were two people working the front desk so there was no excuse why they couldn't have at least brought them to me. The reasoning given was "oh sometimes the dryer causes hair to stick." I really don't believe that...and how housekeeping didn't see sheets full of hair is beyond me. I'm positive they just were not washed prior to my stay. The continental breakfast is pretty good. Walls are extremely thin, you can hear people walking above you. Upon checkout they didn't even ask how my stay was. The location is on the outskirts of downtown. It's not the best area...there's a liquor store behind the hotel that has a lot of people outside smoking and drinking. Just avoid that at night. Overall, I think if you're okay with the lack of service, this might be a one off case. But remember to check your sheets!!

Yelp
Really enjoyed our stay here. Splurged a bit for a Jacuzzi room, which was amazing and quite spacious. Loved the A/C and having separate units for the main area and bedroom. The bed was a bit firm for my personal preference, and the pillows were small and didn't offer much support, so sleeping wasn't the most pleasant experience, but far from the worst I've had as well. Breakfast is also great in the morning, a nice selection and seating area to enjoy it. Would recommend this to a friend and will likely stay here again.

Yelp
Stopped here in route to and from California (driving, obviously), call me nuts but I wanted to take my sweet pup along for our travels. It's right downtown, so location was convenient. They don't charge for parking, and the pet fee was only $25 for our one-night stay. Additionally, the rooms are spacious. The first time through, the room had a separate "bar" area with coffee, tea, and a sink. Both rooms we had came with a separate living room area. Rooms were clean too. The bed isn't the MOST comfy I've ever had, but it was just fine when I was dead tired from being in the car. If you're in a hurry and just want to grab something to eat before heading out, you can do that. Breakfast is decent, but again nothing noteworthy. The saving grace was the breakfast sausage. Eggs were your standard boil in a bag types you normally see at hotels (bleh). They also had some decent fresh fruit. So all in all, can't complain. I'd stay here again if I was in tow with my pup again.

Yelp
I really love this Hotel . The Room was very beautiful and clean . All the Hotel staff is very friendly. They provide transportation from and to the airport and complementary Delicious Breakfast, they help me planing my stay with a city tours company and give me directions to places I can visit near by . The Town is beautiful , I star planning my next trip from now on . Thank you Crystal Inn Hotel and Suites Downtown. We was happy with Emilio who take us to park city , lake , Farmington. Any place the city tour don't go . For a very very good price .

Yelp
You can hear your neighbor shower. You need an appointment to use the amenities. Great Jacuzzi tub in room. Small TVs. Better than normal continental breakfast!

Yelp
One of the better hotels I've stayed at, updated, clean rooms, friendly, helpful staff and one of the better breakfasts I've had at any hotel. It's a buffet, grab a tray, couple plates and load up on pancakes, French toast real potatoes, cheesy eggs with peppers and much more. A good breakfast helps start the day on the right foot. If you use corporate lodging, use it here.

Yelp
Great hotel for the price! Stayed here while one of the conferences was in town so it was pretty packed. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, plenty of space to move around and throw clothes. The only thing I didn't like was the sink located outside of the bathroom. Feel like sinks should be in the bathroom! Crystal inn offers breakfast every morning. They have a large selection of hot and cold foods which was surprisingly really good! The gym and pool are rather small, especially the gym. It's big enough for two people. They also have a sauna, which I didn't get a chance to try out because it was usually occupied. Plenty of parking if you have a car. It's a couple of blocks walk to the strip of restaurants but it's really not that far from the inn. All in all a great stay!

Yelp
Nice enough hotel. Clean, staff was very helpful after being stranded by the airlines. Shuttle driver was very nice.
