"Backed by mountains and a historic granite quarry visible in the granite bathhouse, Crystal Lake offers cold waters stocked with trout, smallmouth bass, perch, and pickerel for anglers, free-standing charcoal grills, and rental options including an on-site cottage with essentials and a canoe." - Patricia Doherty

The place is very clean and well maintained. The lake is sandy and the water temp is perfect. They have a playground area, with a swing set only. We enjoyed our first visit, and definitely won't be our last.

Great location for yoga. Boat launch, small beach, picnic area and volleyball. Loved that there weren't many people even though there were lots of vehicles. Lots if parking for campers and seemed at full capacity. Small charge for day use of beach for travelers like myself. Seemed well monitored.

This place is one of my favorite places to swim and relax with the kids. It's less crowded than the state park beach. There is also an easy trail to hike with a great over look!!

It was so beautiful to paddleboard there, and it's also immaculate. The staff is extremely friendly, accommodating, and responsive to my questions and concerns. Highly recommend for day picnic/paddleboard/swimming type!

Just named one of vermonts best beachs this park is truly a gem. When you approach it you are wondering there is a state park down here and then bam! There it is. Magnificent CCC Era bathhouse. Just a spectacular view and pretty beach.

I couldn’t get over how CRYSTAL clear the water was! All puns intended. The park was tidy, staff was very friendly and there was a lot of room to spread out! I love that there’s a concession stand as well. Not a lot of state beaches have them anymore!

Crystal Lake lives up to its name. Beautifully situated between the hills this lake has water that you can see through to the bottom (which the kids loved), sand all the way out in the swimming area, a clean beach with plenty of space, and picnic areas and ample parking. A great place for a day on the lake and perfect for families.
