Loved this Hotel. Great location. Excellent friendly staff. We had a free room upgrade the room was fantastic with panoramic views of the city. Close to airport busses and only 5 euros for a taxi to old town. Breakfast was great. We will stay here again next time and highly recommend.

I have very mixed feelings regarding my recent stay, but mostly good, I believe. Location: Good — looks safe, quite close to the airport, shops, and restaurants. There’s an ATM next door and a basic grocery shop. Service: People at the reception are nice, and the restaurant staff are super nice. It was the first hotel where I was asked if I wanted coffee, and it was made and brought to me. Plus, people were smiling and joking — especially the black-haired lady and her colleague with slightly Asian features. The food itself wasn’t very varied, but it was good and more or less in line with expectations. Rooms: And here I have the biggest issues. First, the positives: + Rooms are spacious (I believe around 22 m²). + Bathrooms and shower cabins are spacious too. + I really loved the design — you have a long wall of windows, several meters of glass. That was really cool. Now the negatives: - The smell of the cleaned room reminded me of trains — that typical chemical smell. - There was a bad smell coming from the toilet, I guess from the sewage system. Like sulfur. It lasted through the whole stay; the bathroom ventilation helped a bit. - The AC didn’t manage well in high temperatures. It was blowing colder air, but the temperature barely decreased, if at all. - The hotel was refurbished a few years ago, but in many areas still reminds me of the 2000s. Summary: I believe that due to its design, this hotel has a lot of potential, but it feels a bit neglected. However, the staff are definitely some of the best I’ve encountered in any hotel so far.

Impolite and rude behavior of the manager of the hotel For a long time I have not felt more unpleasant and feel that someone is lying to you and wants to deceive you This hotel with sad staff and even sadder walls and smells will remind you of the old times and the era of Ceausescu Sad and very unfortunate! Whoever stays in this hotel will surely remember this my review

Having recently relocated to Bucharest, I had the pleasure of staying at the Crystal Palace Hotel. From the moment I checked in until my departure, my experience was exceptional, and I must extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire team. Crystal Palace Hotel quickly became more than just a temporary residence; it truly felt like home, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking sunset views from my room – they were simply magical. The housekeeping team deserves special recognition; their meticulous attention to detail made my room feel consistently fresh, spotless, and wonderfully homely. They were truly a ray of sunshine each day. Furthermore, the restaurant staff brightened my mornings with their warm smiles and welcoming service. My extended stay at Crystal Palace Hotel made my transition to Bucharest so much smoother and more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and truly memorable experience.

Been there twice. Great large rooms. Both times I received a free upgrade from a regular room to a suite. Rooms are very clean. Service is great. They always give you a free bottle of wine. There is a coffee shop and a restaurant near the reception. Location is very good. There are plenty of shops and restaurants and you are close to Herăstrău Park.

The room was amazing! I had a great time with my friends and I saw Mitică which also made my day because he was very nice to everyone, making this hotel one of the best hotels I've ever seen. The pillows were very soft and the room was beautoful, with the spectacular view.

This is a bit old hotel comparing with other in the same area but still a good quality one. There are two things would be reminded there. The 1st and most important thing is that the floor of the wet room is very very slippery. I will check got a very heavy fell down and my waistwas hurt on the marble side of the shower. So, if you are living in the room, please be very careful to the slippery floor. And the second one is the noise of the air conditioner. The machine is very old and the foundation is not very good but the voice of the running is very much noise. Apart from the bad ones, I can say some good points. The location is one of the attractive ones. It is close to the CBD of the city and you can get different nice food. And the breakfast is also a good factor to select the hotel. Fresh food, separately the vegetables and fruits. Bread is seem freshly baked every morning. On the top of that, the service is good in the breakfast hall. And the bed, I had a twin bed and sleeped very well. If you prefer to the hard mattress. It would be your favorite. And the sheet is replaced every day, clean and tidy. It is nice service as well. Overall, less than 90 euro per night in the city center and in the August is already high cost performance. It is recommended to you here. Good luck.
