This jungle lodge is Belizean owned by the kindest family! Each room has AC now and the breakfasts and dinners were delicious. The wifi and LTE connection was strong. We booked our tours via the resort and every tour guide we had was very knowledgeable in both mayan history, birds and general wildlife/fauna. Shout-out to Eric (Caracol) and Emilio (ATM Cave). Thank you Tut family for having us, we had a great time!

The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were great for hanging out after a bird watching adventure. The food was simple, family style and delicious! Jeronie helped set us up with the greatest bird guide, Abi, and we had three great days of bird watching with him and a stop at Caracol Mayan Ruins. He was also able to tell us about the ruins and Mayan culture. Jeronie also made arrangements for us to go to Guatemala to visit Tikal and do some bird watching there. Everything went smoothly and all our drivers and guides were fabulous. He made our trip to Cayo very memorable.

We stayed at Crystal Paradise for five nights in May and couldn't have had a better experience. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. The food was very tasty and the menus nicely varied. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the birds, as well as daily bird walks and excursions to Mayan ruins, local markets, a nearby butterfly farm and more. We can't wait to return.

We were treated like family from the moment we arrived. The hospitality was warm and genuine, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, the environment peaceful and beautifully maintained, and everything was spotless. Our kids had an amazing time with activities that were both fun and educational. We truly appreciated the eco-friendly approach—it’s clear they care about both guests and the planet. This was a perfect place to enjoy quality family time, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended for families seeking a meaningful and relaxing experience!

We did not stay at the resort but we contacted them for the kayaking and canoeing guided tour. It was a last minute decision and they responded quickly. Our guide Everald was great! He was very knowledgeable, funny, and patient. Crystal Paradise seems to have great business ethics and they care about the well being of their customers. Would highly recommend!

Stayed there for 6 days, ending June 2. A completely fantastic experience. The room was clean; the food was delicious. The location is fantastic; one could do some very decent birdwatching just from the huge deck, which backs onto the dining room. Our guide for birding/observing antiquities was Julio Tut. He was well informed about both, as well as about the history and geography of Belize; like most good guides, he could see and hear things we barely noticed. We did a slew of excursions, to Caracol (Mayan historic site), Aguacate lagoon, Mountain Pine reserve, thousand feet falls, El Pilar, etc.. I hav e about 1000 photos from the trip.||We did this trip on our own, after getting tired of packaged 'outfitters'. We didn't regret it for a second.||Crystal Paradise is owned and operated by a single (very large) family. Everyone was friendly.

We loved our stay at the Crystal Paradise! Carolita and her family truly make you feel like you've been adopted into the clan! She and her brother Jeronie and their other siblings went out of their way to ensure we had a nice stay! We booked all our excursions through them and I would highly recommend you do this! Our ATM cave tour was cancelled last minute due to rain and they were able to make a few calls and switch our Tikal trip to that day instead, which we never could have done on our own. The cave reopened the next day and we were able to go then. It was such a blessing! The breakfasts and dinners we ate there were simple Belizian food, but so convenient. The dining area has a beautiful balcony where they set out various fruits to feed the birds, so you just sit and watch a beautiful nature show as you eat. The variety of birds is incredible! We used their canoes and canoed down the river one day. The village of San Ignacio is just a short drive or bus ride away if you want a little more action. The accommodations are simple and a bit rustic, but very, very clean and every need we had was happily met! Thank you Tut family for a wonderful trip!

Alba was an amazing host with our last minute accommodations. The entire staff that provided delicious family style meals were amazing. They have many of varieties of birds like hummingbirds and Tucans just to name a couple. The family bungalow was the perfect fit for my family at a very reasonable price
