Crystal Paradise Resort Spa & Winery Palawan

Beautiful resort very far from everything (90 minute ride from airport). Welcoming at this resort was unlike any other in the world. Just amazing staff. Room was what you’d expect in a motel not a resort. The bathroom could fit one person at a time. They do have some newer rooms that probably are much nicer. Driver took us on a trip to local waterfalls which was perfect. If you want to relax and be surrounded by amazing staff this resort is perfect.

Best resort in Narra. Great pool, good restaurant with good prices and kind staff. If you shall stay in Narra you should choose this resort.

Beautiful property with full bar and restaurant onsite. We were a last minute booking (we got a villa with private pool) but staff went above and beyond to set up a romantic dinner for my fiance's proposal. The location itself is pretty remote and about an hour and a half from Puerto Princesa, but the drive isn't bad since it's a straight highway once you get out of Puerto, and much of the highway has been repaved. Highly recommend visiting for anyone looking for a private getaway outside of Puerto Princesa! The villas with private pool are worth it. Thank you Crystal River for an amazing stay. We will be back next time we come to the Philippines!

My fiancé and I planned to visit Palawan on a pleasure / business trip. I really had no idea on where to stay until a business colleague in Los Angeles, (California) suggested Crystal Paradise. Best trip advise I ever took. We had originally planned one night but wound up staying four nights due to the comfort, cleanliness, superior staff professionalism, extremely delicious food.........but most importantly the warmth of every staff member. You couldn't pay a five star resort to get the honest service you will feel at Crystal Paradise Resort.||Maybe this ambience is what led my fiancé and I to finally take the next step because we married one day after we left Crystal Paradise. I don't know if this was the reason..........but this place MOST CERTAINLY DESERVES 6 out of 5 stars in my heart.||||THANK YOU||CRYSTAL PARADISE RESORT.

We were there over the holidays ~ and the staff was wonderful. They went above and beyond for our family. The place however is a bit run down ~ but you don’t have that many places to choose from this area. There is AC / daily room cleaning and fridge in rooms. You are on a nice quiet beach and there is a clean pool. Food is decent and you are only a 15-20 min trike ride into town. Level set your expectations - this is not a true ‘resort’ and you will have a great time.

My colleagues and I stayed here for a week during our fieldwork in the area. We enjoyed our stay. The place is very relaxing and peaceful and the staff are among the friendliest and nicest I've seen in my stays in different hotels and resorts. They have a restaurant where you can order food. The food is good and worth the money. They have a recreation center where you can play table tennis, billiards or sungka. Also located here is a shelf of books with good titles. You can also play volleyball or badminton in their yard. You can also do kayaking here. Overall, I'd say I had a great time here.

When we discussed our trip with someone living in Manila and mentioned the Crystal Paradise in Narra- he said it was the most untouristy trip he had ever heard of. Yes the hotel is far from the maddening crowd- about 2 hrs south from Puerto Princesa, Palawan. If you are looking for wild parties, bars, "the strip" this place isnt for you. If you are looking for a way to reconnect with yourself and or loved ones then this might be the place to do it. The hotel is off the road about 10 minutes by tricycle, on the beach. It is spread over a large area including outdoor pool and jacussi, spa. The beach is black sand and goes on and on with coconut palms. We had breakfast (included) and dinner (a la carte) - well worth while. Food was great, the staff helpful. You can take trips into Narra (about 15 by tricycle) and see the real Philipines. Hint if the villas are available, they are worth the extra expense (my wife wanted to wrap one up and take it home).

My family and I went to Crystal Paradise to celebrate my birthday but I was very very disappointed with the service. We ate at the restaurant and the table wasn’t clean; dust and small insects. We haven’t look at the menu yet, but she kept on encouraging us to try her new menu which was not on the menu list. Wasn’t able to finished my food because I don’t like the taste and one of my family members saw a dog’s hair on the salad that they prepared.They charged us for the entrance and the pool but the place and the pool wasn’t maintained well.LOTS OF INSECTS AND MOSQUITOS. We didn’t last for an hour at the pool. We just swim there because we paid for it. This resort is not worth any penny. I won’t recommend this. The service is not good but they charged 5x of it. VERY EXPENSIVE BUT THE QUALITY AND SERVICE IS NOT GOOD!
