3.5 star hotel.||We were starting to expect small rooms in Switzerland, even in 4- and 5-star hotels, and this held true for the Crystal Hotel. Our room was small, included 3 chairs & a small table. Unfortunately, there is no kettle or coffee maker, no conditioner or shower gel, just an all-purpose "soap," which doesn't do justice to shower gel or shampoo! The room was noisy with windows open for cool air but very quiet when closed. We enjoyed a very good breakfast buffet; I had never seen an egg cooker on a buffet! ||The Coop across the street and Pizza Way (up and to the right of Coop) are great alternatives to $$$ dining. ||Good location. Construction impeded foot traffic some and made the walk down to the lake a little longer. But don't let that deter you. Walk the lake; it's beautiful.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. If only every hotel was operated like this one. The service is some of the best I’ve ever experienced. The location is the best in the city. You’re truly in the center of everything. Also 2 minutes to the ski lifts. Our room was serviced every time we stepped out of it. Mini bar included free beer, water, coffee, and tea. The complimentary breakfast delivered to our room every morning was such a nice touch. One of the best hotel gyms I’ve ever used. Lastly, the nicest staff I’ve ever encountered. This place was 10/10 and I will absolutely come back to St. Moritz solely to stay here.

The hotel is close to St. Moritz Train Station. It's a reasonable walk to get to the hotel if you have a lot of luggage, so I recommend arranging a transfer with them (it's free). As I didn't know that, I took a taxi (CHF 20) and the journey took about 5 minutes. The hotel is very well located, the staff is very friendly and the property has standard amenities. Very cozy apartment, although it can get a little hot as there was no temperature control. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was great. Delicious breakfast. I only stayed overnight, but next time I come back I plan to stay here again.

The rooms are very traditional in style which is ok but they are also very small. Our room didn't have a balcony or view. The heating was set a bit too high so it was very hot in the room. There's a mini bar free of charge but no tea or coffee facilities unfortunately. The breakfast was tasty but a bit limited compared to other swiss hotels I've been to. The spa is basic with a gym and sauna but no pool or jacuzzi, so we didn't use it. Overall, the hotel, despite a great location, lacks some facilities.

Stayed at Crystal 1 night to take Glazier express train. Went to 4 european countries on this trip and stayed at 4 hotels. Unfortunately Hotel Crystal was the most expensive per night and most disappointing. The beds were very uncomfortable - mattresses need to be replaced. We arrived on a Sunday when stores had just closed, we asked check in staff where we could get water - they failed to mention that the water in the refrigerator in the room was included and instead told us to order the $10 a bottle water from room service. Rooms are tiny. Only decent part of the stay was the bathroom with heated floors. Bathroom is just about bigger than the room. For $500 a night I was very disappointed.

We had a great evening the bar, which allows cigar smoking, has the best gin tonic in town, a fabulous band, illustrious visitors, a good atmosphere and in general is very welcoming. We had good discussions thanks to the hospitality of Crystal

Centrally located hotel with a bus stop around the corner; 10 minute walk to the lake; and just a few minutes to the St. Moritz funicular which takes you up for the hiking trails. The hotel room was clean and spacious, very nicely designed and had both shower and bath. Room is very well isolated so you don’t hear any noises. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The food in the hotel was delicious. Every meal was a culinary highlight (we had twice 3 course dinner). From the location to the room, staff, facilities and the food everything was first class. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to my next stay.

Lovely clean and professional hotel. Everyone has a smile and a desire to help. Super Clean and well appointed rooms. With a staff who has been well instructed in hospitality and ensuring a memorable and friendly customer experience start to finish.
