Room was clean, missing some towels I needed but water pressure was amazing! Food was okay at Pachamama but wouldn't rely on it full time. Staff was great. Breakfast buffet was good at CC's. Didn't have a hot tub but had free bikes you could check out. Close to everything downtown. It does have the feeling of an economy hotel.

This is a large hotel with two buildings – one for the hotel rooms and one for apartments. We stayed in the apartment building. The building facade is green so it’s easy to spot when walking around Cairns. There’s interesting art around the lobby. The two bedroom apartment had a balcony and ensuites for each bedroom. Generally, the layout was fine with a well equipped kitchen. In the bathrooms, there’s a towel rail that’s only sufficient for one towel and the lighting was inadequate. There’s a lack of appropriate furniture with a small two seater lounge, one hard chair next to the lounge and no proper bedside storage for one of the bedrooms – we had to rearrange furniture from the other bedroom. Reception staff were professional but not personable. Why do hotels ask if the guests have a special occasion during their stay but it doesn’t get acknowledged while we’re there? I was asked this twice at pre and arrival check in. We had the buffet breakfast a few times during our one week stay. Breakfast staff were friendly and helpful but really pressed guests to finish up half an hour before the 10am breakfast closing time. It seems prepping for business lunches and the cleaning schedule were more important.|The Mexican bar on level 3 was well set up with outdoor booths. There’s a drinks happy hour and great appetisers or light meals – highly recommend the tacos, dips and corn chips.|Two small pools are available for a quick dip or a bit of lounging. The pool at the apartment building is very clean with BBQ facilities.|Overall, this hotel has suitable accommodation options but we feel the service could improve to make guests feel more welcomed.

We had a fantastic one-night stay at Crystalbrook Bailey. The location is perfect - right in the city and just a short walk to the Esplanade. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcome. A special shout-out to Florian at the front desk, who truly went above and beyond to meet our needs. Our room had a beautiful ocean view, modern amenities, a super comfortable bed, great complimentary coffee and tea, and everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Had a great 4 nights stay here! Clean and comfortable room! Great location and short walk distance to the pier and restaurant! Very quiet and comfortable. Roof top bar is nice. I will came back again!!

Stayed five nights. Great bed. Clever design of spacious room full of automation. Very good bathroom. Many thanks to the helpful reception especially to Myriam for her assistance and advice. Her contribution to our activities in the area was extremely valuable. Swimming pool is small for the size of the hotel

I enjoyed my experience at the crystal book. The staff were very nice and welcoming. Everything was very clean and well presented. I love the beds and the room themselves. Location is also very central which makes it easy to get to a lot of things. The buffet breakfast off of downstairs is okay and I have not tried the restaurant that's nestled in the hotel. Anything that I wish was a little bit more improved was the actual experience of checking in and getting acustomed to your room. There was no information booklet or pamphlet telling you about the normal things you would expect when checking into a hotel such as wifi, buffet breakfast times, room service etc. Also the rooms AC only went down to 21°C. Which I think was way too hot for myself and it made it hard to sleep at night. Overall though very happy with the experience and would probably come back again

Stayed for 4 nights. Terrific location and friendly staff. Our room was small but with lots of modern features. Great shower, just a little challenging to move around in, with too few drawer or clothes hanging spaces. We enjoyed the pool and it's adjoining bar, but found the breakfast sadly to be pretty poor!

This hotel is five star but not give it to sleepers. Ac with floor cold without sleeper. Bathroom mirror very behind the toilet. Big mirror is grayed so not properly used. Plus not charging outlet in bathroom. Hotel view is good center near shopping all excellent. Breakfast very good.. pool is good.
