Crystalbrook Byron (Byron Bay, New South Wales) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Ten minutes outside the city of Byron Bay, on an estate spanning 45 acres of subtropical rainforest, is Crystalbrook Byron, a luxury boutique resort whose sustainability measures are as well developed as its leisure offerings. Its 92 suites are as tranquil as can be, and stylish at the same time, soft and neutral in organic materials with judicious color accents. And while the Eléme Spa is for many guests the main event, the restaurants and bars are no less impressive, from the verdant and aptly named Forest to the al fresco Verandah and the rather self-explanatory Blue Pool Bar." - Tablet Hotels

Unparalleled hotel experience in Australia over the past 15 years! Exceptional service and spotless, spacious rooms that easily accommodate families of four. The on-site dining was delicious. Our family greatly enjoyed the onsite sports activities such as yoga, tennis, sauna and swimming pool. The unique location within a serene nature reserve made our stay truly memorable. Outstanding value for money, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Review of Crystalbrook Byron after a short 3 night getaway. The first impression of the resort on arrival is one of luxury - the reception area and surrounding gardens, pool and decking are beautiful. We were impressed with the ample lounger and seating availability at the pool. The room itself was nice but I would not say it is to the standard of other Crystalbrook hotels or other 5 star hotels we have stayed at. However in the setting of Byron it is one of the better accommodation options. We did appreciate that the room is well equipped and had practical facilities. The hotel staff were polite and accommodating. We ate at the Forest restaurant for breakfast on multiple occasions as well as ordering room service one evening. On all occasions the service was fast and the meals of good quality ingredients. In particular I would like to thank the Eleme Spa manager who fitted us in for a couples massage at short request prior to our visit.

Our recent experience at Crystal Brook Byron was totally amazing and very relaxing. The property is set at a very high standard, with maintenance a primary focus. Our room (Cypress) was fully equipped and beautifully presented throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our time each afternoon relaxing by the pool and in the sauna. I must mention our massages at the Day Spa, our treatments were as good as you’d expect anywhere - thanks to the very talented Annie for her skills and lovely relaxed professionalism.🥂

We had a wonderful stay for two nights at Crystalbrook Byron. Upon arrival the staff on reception were very helpful and welcoming explaining the amenities within the hotel but information on how to get into the town.||The apartment (Treetops Retreat Suite) was lovely overlooking the rainforest in a very calming peaceful setting. It was a sizeable apartment with a relaxing balcony area at the front and back with seating. It was all very clean apart from unfortunately, we found that the floors in the main area of the apartment were dirty including finding sand meaning we had to wear our shoes indoors (it was not a big enough problem to complain about). Within the small kitchenette there was a small washer dryer which we made use of so that was helpful.||Crystalbrook offered a shuttle bus service into Byron Bay which went at various times during the day, however there was not a return bus past 5.45pm so we got an uber back. It would have been helpful to have a bus return time a bit later in the evening for after dinner but ubers are very reasonable and only a 10 minute journey back from town. ||There was also a beautiful outdoor pool with sun loungers and a gym to make use of.||We enjoyed our stay in Byron Bay and despite the issue raised above, we would still give 5 stars. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very friendly and attentive staff, great suites, location and a lovely restaurant and pool. We had two days and could happily have stayed longer. The only disappointment is some of the boardwalks are damaged and closed so the forest walk is a bit curtailed and no access to the zen garden. But, other things more than made up for it!

We had a beautiful weekend at Crystalbrook Byron. The resort is great and so was our apartment. Very large for the three of us. Cleanliness all over the resort was perfect although we are in the middle of nature. We highly recommend.

My wife, daughter and I stayed at the Crystalbrook Byron for two nights last week as part of our first visit to Australia. Our first thoughts to ourselves that we shared with each other was that it felt like we had walked into a "White Lotus" resort, in a really good way!||The front staff at check-in and departure were very friendly and helpful. Our room in the more family friendly side within the rainforest was quite unique in its construction, with enclosed decks at both ends of the unit, and with a kitchenette and washer/dryer unit - very helpful and useful! ||We walked the rainforest paths of the resort, one area was closed off due to damage from winter storms. It took us fifteen minutes to walk east off the property to the ocean and experience the view of the Pacific Ocean.||The pool was excellent, as were the beds around it, very family friendly. We had two evening meals and a breakfast in the Forest restaurant, all of which were absolutely amazing and reasonably priced given the level of the facilities.||Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to enjoy the Eleme Spa. Perhaps next time!
