Crystalbrook Vincent (Brisbane, Queensland) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Australia’s Crystalbrook line of luxury boutique hotels and resorts cut a distinctive figure — they’re luxe and sustainable, but never stodgy. Crystalbrook Vincent, in Brisbane, is a fine example of the brand’s vision: colorful, vibrant, and full of art, in this case no fewer than 500 prints by the Melbourne-based portrait artist Vincent Fantauzzo. The rooms and suites are stylish and comfortable, and the hotel’s two dining and drinking venues, the upscale Roman-style Polpetta and the Los Angeles tribute that is the Fiume rooftop pool bar, are worthy additions to the Howard Smith Wharves nightlife and entertainment district." - Tablet Hotels

Where to Stay in Brisbane When You Visit (Updated 2025)

"On the edge of Fortitude Valley I describe Crystalbrook Vincent as a sleek five-star property that almost feels like a resort, featuring an infinity pool with magnificent views, two restaurants, a fitness center, uniquely designed rooms with curated artwork and bold accents, and a sustainability focus with waste-free bathrooms and upcycled furnishings." - Matthew Kepnes

The 6 Best Hotels in Brisbane (Updated 2025)

"Sitting at the base of the Story Bridge on the edge of Fortitude Valley, this epic five-star property feels almost like an urban resort and is my favorite luxury hotel in the city. It has two restaurants, a fitness center, an infinity pool with magnificent views, and a rooftop bar with panoramic skyline views. The spacious rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, comfy beds, plush bathrobes, flatscreen TVs, desks, and most include a couch; the bathrooms are massive with walk-in rainfall showers and great pressure. It's an ideal choice for travelers who want to stay along the waterfront with the restaurants and bars of Howard Smith Wharves just steps away." - Matthew Kepnes

Stayed here New Years eve, super easy parking, we did have an issue finding reception due first time being here and taking the wrong elevator up from carpark as there were no clear indications we could see as to which elevator to take. Hotel itself was unbelievable, amazing views, great location, well layed out, swimming pool, easy access to multiple dining venues etc,we will 100% be staying here again.

Nothing but problematic from the start. We booked a family room over the phone as we had a voucher and you cannot do this online. They misspelled our name which wasn’t picked up on check in when I handed over my ID and credit card. Problematic because this meant we struggled for ages to order room service until we figured the issue. It will not allow you to check out if the names incorrectly spelled. The family room was on the first floor facing the bridge. Cool views, but those views mean noise. Lots of it. The noise came from the venues and people drinking until the early hours of the morning. It’s where people catch Ubers/taxis and talk loudly while they wait. You’ve also got cars racing along the Story bridge. We managed a few hours of sleep before the delivery trucks started which meant constant loud beeping as they reversed/hydraulic lifts etc. When we checked in I clarified again I had a voucher and ask if they needed it. “No that’s fine” It wasn’t fine because we woke up to another room charge on our credit card in the morning equating to a nights stay despite already paying. Not to mention it wasn’t even the appropriate room charge for what we booked either - it was higher. The layout of the room did not make sense as a family. I understand that family makeups are all different but for the majority it’s adults with a couple of kids. The double bed most appropriate for our two kids is in the bigger room with the mini bar and tea/coffee facilities. Also with the bathroom access. This is the room that overlooks the venues. If they were in this room we would’ve kept waking them up to access the bathroom and to make drinks etc. If you put them on the bigger queen/ king bed they’re by the front door which we didn’t love for safety and also you need to go through if you want any water as it’s accessed via a filter on every level. The light in the rooms is pretty dark and moody as is, and main floor lamp didn’t work so it was really hard to see. When you’re in a 5 star hotel and you’re paying more money to get a larger family room you don’t expect such a miserable stay.

Excellent hotel in a fabulous location. Good for female solo travelers (no dark walks back from the restaurants/bars across the road). Surprisingly quiet rooms given how busy HSW and the bridge can be. I like the eco-friendly features like $10 towards in-house dining if you decline housekeeping services. Great room service and the Mews restaurant does a wonderful breakfast with lovely coffee

Great hotel and we found the staff exceptional. We stayed NYE and had an amazing room with massive balcony looking over the river and at the Storey Bridge. Definitely recommend.

We stayed here recently for the Story Bridge adventure climb and it was amazing. Super close to the Bridge climb, beautiful restaurants and the best view of the bridge and water. We booked the wheelchair accessible family room and there was plenty of space to move around and the accessibility features were great - could get easily into the bathroom with a roll in shower and could also move around the outside of the bed easily in my wheelchair. Nice wide doorways as well. The room itself was beautiful - clean and comfortable. Adjustable aircon as well which was great for my temperature regulation difficulties. The staff were also lovely and very accomodating. Thank you!

Stayed and was booked at Crystalbrook Vincent for an awards ceremony that night and was so happy with the room. Super modern with an industrial style. Brought my wife with me and found the room actually quite romantic. The view was exceptional as well with the artwork both inside the room and in the corridor equally amazing. Highly recommend!

It's been a while since I spent some time in Bris so a night out with friends saw me at the CrystalBrooke Vincent.|The pool. Divine at night with the lights of the city. It's like a story book. You can even swim down the end and weird out the diners by watching them eat at the rooftop bar.|On that note - make a booking! We couldn't get a table at all as it was booked out, so get in early.|The pool though by day is blah. Only because the Bris river is brown, the bridge is beige and tired. Save this spot for the night!||We did a nature wall room, which was a VERY clever way of selling the room built next to a rock cliff. It lit up at night and was a really diff experience. I liked it.||Room service ... I woke up post tequila and needed a coffee and brekky but the iPad wouldn't work. I gave up in the end.||Staff - they were super helpful and let us check in early so we could fix up for a function. The carpark attendant was a highlight and couldn't have been nicer. Oh book your park the day before. It's a fair $50 and you can come and go.||Highly recommend even just for the incredible artwork.|If you're having a sexy weekend though, you might want to (or not want to!!) drape something over the VERY realistic print of Asher Keddie over the bed!
