Crystalline Ice rink Ghent

There were so many people, took a while to find shoes for the kids: the racks for size 33 were empty apart from four from the same foot and one that couldn't lock. We will arrive earlier next time lest we miss shoes!

We went twice during this month and it was fabulous! Now, the skates themselves aren't prime material, but they are more than decent for newbies and occasional ice skaters like our family. The little sleighs are there for grabs and yes, you do have to look out for a free one to use. But overall, the visitors are all well manered and polite, so just ask. We will be going more, for sure!

Super fantastic to have such experience organised by my university actually at this place for all students. It was my first time to be there for ice skating, seems quite difficult in the start.

My friend and I walked from Gent Sint-Pieters to the ice rink as there is no public transport available. It took us around 40 minutes, and the walk was pretty okay. The ice rink was crowded, but people were polite. The skates were okay, after a while they hurt a little bit of you aren't wearing thick socks. A ticket costs 8€ and was very easy to buy. I had a fun experience and will definitely come again!

Always fun going there, never had a bad experience and have been going there every year with school

The place looks old and can really use a facelift. Other than that the service is top notch and they are very friendly. Keep some change in your pocket. A vending machine is the only way you can get a drink whilst skating.

Nice place to bring your family and to have some fun. Too crowded on a Saturday morning. I would prefer to pay more but to have less people on the track. The status of the ice became also bad really early. Moreover the parking is too small.

There is no way to get here by public transportation. 👍 Even so I actually like this place , I do not believe they couldn’t run 1 shuttle bus from the city center
