Promising but disappointing || Crystal St Lucia is a beautiful and tasteful resort which is let down by poor management and staff shortages.||We booked the Mango Suite for 9 nights in July 2025. The suite itself seemed lovely and decorated tastefully for most part with views of the Pitons from one part of the upper level. When we checked in, we were told we would be getting a free upgrade after 4 days and would be offered the option of moving into the Papaya suite. We accepted.||After 4 days there was no sign of our much-anticipated upgrade. Upon enquiry, I was told that there had been a misunderstanding and that the Pappa suite was no longer available. It turned out that the suite had been available when we checked in and that we should have started off there for 4 days and then moved to Mango. It’s not as if the place has many suites (there’s only around 6/7) that such confusion arose and remained for 4 days while we were being misled. It felt as though no one was in charge.||Other problems included a leaking roof (it did rain quite heavily) leading to towels being placed on the first floor and ground floor and no daily cleaning of our suite (with not enough staff) although the pool was cleaned every day. ||The staff is friendly and largely well meaning - we were particularly grateful to Peter and Alberthe for their work. Alberthe prepared our breakfast and was in charge of our room’s cleaning and Peter was responsible for the pool. Junior was also a great help and promptly replaced the erratic gas cylinder in the kitchen on the evening of our first full day. ||The location of the resort is ideal for exploring the island and with our trusty but underpowered 4x4 we visited all the main beaches, springs, waterfalls and towns. Notable were Sugar beach, Anse Chastenet, Sapphire falls, Sulphur Springs, Sufriere, Castries and the botanical gardens. The approach road needs a 4x4.||The much vaunted Treetops restaurant offers great views and nice food although we thought it was pricey.||Overall I would go back if there was better management and I was assured that issues with staff shortages and building maintenance had been resolved.

We stayed at Crystals in the Calabash Villa for two nights, and it was truly one of the most magical experiences of our lives. My fiancé proposed at the Treetop Restaurant at the resort, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful setting, surrounded by incredible views of the Pitons and the rainforest. It was the perfect place for a proposal!||The staff and owners were super welcoming, kind, and hospitable, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived - they really care about their guests and made us feel so comfortable - huge thanks to Monica, Solange and Martin for the kindness! I also celebrated my birthday during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond decorating the bed with rose petals and wrote “Happy Birthday”.||The Calabash Villa itself was spacious, spotless, and uniquely designed (the interior design is STUNNING). It also felt very private with our own secluded pool.||The Treetop Restaurant was a 10/10! The food was a fusion of Caribbean and Indian flavors, rich, vibrant, and full of taste. Every dish and cocktail we had was exceptional, and the atmosphere among the treetops made it even more special. Breakfast was also generous and delicious, with plenty of variety and fresh ingredients and fruits.||The location is ideal - close to Soufrière town yet tucked away enough to feel completely immersed in nature. Overall, our stay at Crystals was magical, romantic, and unforgettable. From the views and the beautiful room, to the amazing staff and the proposal of a lifetime - everything was perfect. We can’t wait to return one day, it will forever hold a special place in our hearts.||Thanks to the Crystals and Treetop team!||Highly recommend!

Visited Crystals for a weekend get away as my friends kept insisting that the place was heavenly and a private getaway "gem in Soufriere" |I thought I had been everywhere in St Lucia, but on arrival I was shocked to witness this truly exotic hideaway. As a local this was the first time I visited the resort and my experiences will stay with me for a lifetime. |The view of the Pitons from Sugar Cane, our room, was breathtaking. It felt like I could just stretch my hand and touch the mountain. It was so close. The room was very clean, comfortable, rustic and spacious. Breakfast in the morning was on time at 8:30 and those bakes were so fluffy and delicious. |I met Monica, the host the next day and she was so accommodating and friendly. |I would recommend Crystals to any one looking for a place to getaway from the stress and daily headaches of life. Quiet, relaxing, serene, and a place that makes you forget time. My friend calls it the Gem in the Jungle.

It's a beautiful boutique hotel hidden in the mountains and nature of Soufriere. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The Villa is spacious and very comfortable. You have so many tranquil and quiet spots within your Villla to relax and lose yourself into the peace. I have not felt so relaxed on years. Everything you could possibly need is provided. I am a chef and I enjoyed the clean and well stocked kitchen.

This is by far THE BEST VILLA THAT IVE EVER BEEN TOO !! The place was super peaceful, the view was spectacular. Our Breakfast came to us & 10/10 !! we got a complimentary wine upon arrival & they allowed us a little grace even though checkout was at 10:30. The staff there, omg super friendly ! This is most definitely the best resort in the south of the island. Stayed in the Calabash Room, each room has its own pool but i think my pool was the best 🤭

AMAZING! If you are considering staying at Crystals, BOOK IT! We had a fantastic stay the entire trip. We stayed in the Papaya villa and loved it. Plenty of space, great views, and close to everything we wanted to do in Soufriere. We will be back. The owner met us twice during our stay and it was fun learning her story. Breakfast served to your villa each morning and pool is cleaned immediately after breakfast each day. Property staff communicate with you via whatsapp messenger. There is a restaurant on property open for dinner daily except Thursday and Sunday. I highly recommend eating there at least once during your stay.||If you can have Bradley assist with concierge services, DO IT! We worried about nothing from the time we landed in St. Lucia until we got back on the plane. He made it super easy, fun, and stress free.||There are so many wonderful things to say about Crystals that I cannot even remember them all. I hope you get the opportunity to stay one day.
