Food and vibes were a 10/10. Highly recommend. Everything tasted great but my favorite was the crispy shredded pork with this super flavorful rice. Absolutely to die for. And the desserts?! Must must must. The empanadas were good but we took the extras home and had them the next day and they tasted even better. Service was fine but nothing great. Everyone was nice but it took us some time to get the waitress attention/ she wasn’t around a ton. Though to her credit she was a tad bit busy. Overall great experience and I shall be returning!

Google
We stopped in just as they were opening, and it was fantastic - lovely patio, attentive service, and fantastic food. One of the folks in our party had some substantial food allergies, and the server was knowledgeable about the menu/prep and happy to help. Everything was delicious, and it was a lovely atmosphere to enjoy a spring evening.

Cute space and delicious menu! Took me a long time to decide what to order that I have to come back! One Restroom is upstairs, but there's only one so you will have to go downstairs for more. Restaurant pic looks empty as we gkt there right when they opened. By the time we left, the place was full!

We had an 8:00 PM reservation and arrived early around 7:40. We placed our orders — drinks, appetizers, and entrées — by 8:00. Unfortunately, by 9:00 PM, our food still hadn’t arrived, and I had to speak with the manager. We later learned that it was our server’s second day, which may have contributed to the delays. When the food did arrive, my daughter’s steak, ordered rare, came out more than well-done — definitely disappointing. My husband and I both had the catch of the day, which was honestly very basic and lacked flavor. The ambiance was nice, but the experience and food just didn’t meet our expectations.

If you value customer service like I do please read fully. Came in today for happy hour as I always have been meaning to since I live a block away now. I have been to one other Cuba Cuba and it wasn’t too bad but also in the middle of a remodel so I didn’t judge it too hard. I went in and it was quiet. The bar tender was prepping drinks and still stopped to take my order and made mine and the others perfectly and with fresh ingredients so I was ready to make this a nice review. I decided to go outside and sit. I went passed 2 employees who paid me no mind. I stopped when I saw they have a second outside area which looked perfect for me to take my computer out and take care of a few things in peace. A man approaches me as I turn, very close at that (within elbow distance from me), and said: can I help? I stopped and looked as I had a drink clearly in my hand and he repeated sternly: “can I help you?” I paused and said “excuse me?”. He again said in a very poor and demeaning tone, “Can I help you” as if I didn’t belong there or wasn’t a customer.I looked for a moment and said “no he already took care of me” as I pointed to the bartender who was now watching this. The man says again “well can I help you with something. He then tells me”THIS”, pointing behind me, “is a dining room”. I looked over his shoulder and the bartender is still watching all of this. He then tells me that they are not quite open yet despite the only door being open is the one to the dining area. He tells me if I am having a drink I can sit over at the bar area or out front only. I asked the bartender who he was and his name is Les and he is a manger. I then put my drink down and told the bartender that Les has just lost you business as that was a very rude and disrespectful interaction. I left and went down the street where I spend my money with people who know how to treat customers and have some tact. I am not sure if it is because I am black or because I wear Gym shorts and a dispensary tee shirt (the benefits of owning your own business) and headphones on but there was some sort of assumption or bias in his tone, demeanor, and approach to this situation. So Now they will see the power of a pen. Do not spend your money with this business as they are not an example of what it is to be part of Denvers melting pot of a community that normally accepts all walks of life and people happily! Thanks for reading!

Google
I had an amazing birthday dinner here the other night. The atmosphere was great. The service was friendly and on point. Oh man was the food ever delicious. My mom and I were still talking about it a couple days later. I especially enjoyed pairing the amazing flan with the rum they recommended to accompany it. I can't wait to go back sometime!

Google
This is the closest to authentic Cuban food in Denver. The quality and service are superb. The bar atmosphere is phenomenal. Plenty of room in and out with different themed areas. Portions are just perfect and food is served in time and the right temperature. Thanks to Shelbi for outstanding service and knowledge. You def want to visit this place. It is totally worth the visit. Will be back with friends and family soon.

Yelp
I'm coming back for some pastries. They look so appetizing. I placed my order over the phone in advance and they take payment over the phone for to go orders. You can also order online but will be paying extra on top of menu prices. The cafe is cute inside and the cashier was so friendly. The Cuban sandwich was enormous! Big enough for two meals for sure. It was one of the best and most delicious Cuban sandwiches I've ever eaten.

Yelp
Cute little restaurant on a corner with street parking. Indoor and outdoor seating. Look like it used to be a house turned into a restaurant. Entrees typically $20+. I got the ropa de vieja entree $27, the most traditional dish (pulled pork or beef?) and honestly I did not find it very flavorful. Everything on the tray was pretty tasteless imo. I needed hot sauce or seasoning which I didn't have so it was fairly bland. Portion wasn't super filling for me either. Overall I thought it was way overpriced for what I got. I also came by for an event and tried some apps and thought they were meh as well.

Yelp
June is National Dairy Month. @cubacubacafe in partnership with @dairymax to promote dairy-forward dishes. @cubacubacafe won the Kids Menu Milk Grant by @dairymax to support restaurants in promoting milk and other dairy items on their kids menu. Among all the 8 state region @cubacubacafe stood out for its innovative dairy focused menu, potential increase in dairy sales and strong social media presence. Congratulations Lactose intolerance or milk allergy? A better alternative is the lactose free dairy. Shout out to Manny the sweetest, friendliest staff! For this meal our dishes were specially made with dairy-forward dishes produced by local hardworking farmers. The chef can always modify things for you but be sure to tell them from the time you place your order. Their patio is sweet and the first thing you will see upon arrival. Yelp
I am torn with this review, as Cuba Cuba is a great concept. The problem is I am frequent visitor to Cuba and have experienced a variety of dishes. Moreso, being from Southern California Cuban cuisine is not new to me. I do understand why people rave about this place. It is well appointed, service is quick, has a nice vibe and for those interested in Cuba culture, especially through food you can't go wrong. We opted for the ROPA VIEJA DE CASA, The Chicken Breast & CAIPIRINHA cocktail. The dishes are tasty but my issue is the price point is higher than I expected. Cubans are known for their sophistication but there is a reason like many immigrant populations it is more affordable. Of course, if money is no issue for you - this place is as good as it gets. We had a basic dinner and gladly paid $100, yet kept wondering the same dishes typically would be $55-$75, Anyway, it was a nice experience as wherever we travel we seek out Cuban restaurants so this was a good find.

Yelp
The pastries were excellently good and one of the best. They were freshly made and taste so fantastic. Plenty of options and quality was really great and so delicious. The Camarones Al Coco was really great and they taste so fantastic. The Plantain chips were good too. The appetizer and main dish was satisfying. Making my wife and I so full for our dinner. The nice place with welcoming vibe.

Yelp
As someone who lived in Miami for 8 years, I was thrilled to have Cuban food walking distance from my house! The food was a great quality and the vibes were perfect. Cuba Cuba is in an old house and so fun. The patio looks awesome on a nice summer afternoon. We enjoyed everything but the mojitos and croquettes were the stars of the show! I wasn't a huge fan of the empanada pastry but the filling was incredible. I would highly recommend Cuba Cuba for anyone in town craving some Cuban and other Latin food!

Yelp
Perhaps it was the warm evening and great company I kept, but this was the epitome of a beautiful Colorado evening, eating Outdoors. We took the light rail downtown, and coupled it with a 15 minute walk to the restaurant. We were greeted quickly and seated Outdoors where we wanted to eat anyway. We both had the cocktail and followed up with our orders in which I have the pork and she had a seafood medley plate. The thing that blew our socks off was the Yucca Fritas. They were awesome....Though everything else was great. The Yucca Fritos stood out as so good we ordered another side dish of them, In fact, we went to the local Mexican market and picked up a yucca to try it at home. It may take a few tries to try and match flavor. Anyway, and overall excellent experience at Cuba Cuba. We will return.

Yelp
Excellent service, food and drinks. First time here on a recommendation from friends that live in Colorado. Everyone in the party of 7 Enjoy their meals. The highlight for me was the Steak, next time definitely trying the empanadas. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
5/5! I can't believe I've never been here before. The spot is tucked away, near Denver Health off of Speer. And this is a great spot to go for a date or to catch up with friends. There is a huge drink menu ft. mojitos, daiquiris, margaritas, sangria, wine, beer - really anything you could want. They also have a variety of Cuban coffees. If you've never had a Cuban coffee, it is a small cup that will kick in the butt and it is just the best ever! For those that are nonalcoholic, they have lemonade and Cuban sodas. The food was heavenly and the experience was made even better by our extremely personable server. For apps- Don't skip on the plantain chips or the mojo fries. The garlic butter sauce is heavenly! I was with a group of five, and we ordered most of the entrées and shared. Everything was equally delicious! You can't go wrong here. As soon as we left, I was left planning my next visit, and wondering when we could come again!

Yelp
Just ate there last night for a date night. The vibe is still romantic and fun. It's been around for a while and the quality is still good. The wait time between being seated and being served is a bit long, and the table seated after us got served first, but everyone was friendly and attentive overall. The food was very garlicky, which we love, but wanted to give a heads up to those who are not big garlic fans. I got the vaca frito and he got the paella. Mine came with sautéed onions with the meat, rice and beans, and plantains. The black beans lacked flavor. They needed salt. The beef also lacked a punch, but I ordered it with a side chimichurri which was very flavorful! His paella was over cooked. All the meat in it was dry or rubbery, but the flavor was good. Drinks were lovely.

Yelp
Weary from our travels, we stumbled to Cuba Cuba on a frigid cold evening and found a wonderful warm inviting spot we want to visit again. I ordered the Vaca Frita and thought it was amazing. Great place!

Yelp
My first time dining here was a great experience! I loved the decor and lively ambiance on a Friday night. My vegetariano entree ($21) was delicious, and I loved the medley and the side of tostones. It is a LOT of avocado, but I didn't mind saving half of this filling dish to take home. My coconut water was refreshing. We also had a few appetizers, and tore through the mariquitas Cuba Cuba plantain chips and dips ($10). The empanadas ($3.50 each) are small, so it's easy to start your meal with one. I wish they had more filling inside, but they were flavorful! My hongo y manchego empanada was so tasty that I forgot to take a photo. I snapped one of my friend's steak empanada instead. My husband said the camarones al coco ($29) was good, but he wouldn't go back for it. He preferred our friend's churrasco con chimichurri ($28), a steak and fries dish. The main complaint at our table came from our buddy, who was pretty disappointed with his Cubano ($18). It sounds like the bread may have been stale before they pressed it? He said it was hard.

Yelp
Update to 2 stars. The food did finally arrive-- around 1130pm. Mind you, we ordered it at 8pm. Bumping up a star since it did end up arriving... Original review: It doesn't matter how good this place is... 1 star will have to be my rating due to never receiving the order. I don't give many one star reviews but here's one of them. I'll just complain now about the experience as a whole. And the fact that I despise food delivery apps in general. We are staying with a friend and he opted to order from here using Postmates. If up to me, I would just go pick up my food to avoid these situations. 2 hours later, no food. We called the restaurant 3 times. The person on the phone passed the issue off as a problem with the driver and even if that was the case, it's ultimately still on the restaurant. So the restaurant has terrible customer service when dealing with issues. He suggested we call postmates and get a refund. Duh! That still doesn't make dinner appear. It's too late now to get food elsewhere. Just an absolute mess and ruined my night. Well 1 star it is. I hate to write reviews like this, but sometimes they happen.

Yelp
I'm a fan. The tostacha is delicious!!! I've never had anything like that before and I love love love. The restaurant is a house which makes the ambiance so cute and beautiful. My sisters and I ordered lechon asado, vaca frita, and picadillo. We definitely had leftovers and couldn't finish it between the three of us. It was pretty busy for a Saturday night, which made sense but we were served a timely fashion. I really loved this restaurant. So glad we found it and decided to give it a try.

Yelp
Wow I came here kinda by accident because I usually go to the Cuba restaurant near my house but I searched incorrectly and it brought me here. So glad I came. The service was really good...well ok so we ordered our meals and it took forever for the food to come out. The waiter finally checked the back and it turns out they lost our order. Anyways since the food came out so late, they have one of the dishes complementary plus a dessert. We didn't ask for this so it was a very nice gesture. The food was really good! I got the Cubano Sandwich which came with a health side of salad. My friend got the camarones which was very tasty. The cuatro leches con chocolate was delicious but super sweet so we couldn't finish all of it. The decor was so inviting and looked authentic with murals and a lot of decorations. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE this place! Not only is the food amazing, it is gorgeous inside and out. I've been here a few times and the service is always so helpful and friendly, too. This is a Denver gem. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Service and drinks were phenomenal here. Tori our bartender made us delicious pineapple drinks. Very kind and helpful. The ambiance is fun, great music playing and the food was delicious.

Yelp
Used to be one of my favorite places in Denver... now just ok. (And friend and I have been here 2x in the last few weeks just to double check.) Honestly, the thing that really got me was the $17 flavored mojitos. I have NEVER seen a cocktail cost that much. Maybe the craftiest of crafty places somewhere in Manhattan. So if you go here, watch the cocktail prices and order by the pitcher if you can ($50, but seems much more cost effective). The Cuban salad used to be one of my favorite things here. It was mostly hearts of palm, with tomato and onion and avocado added. Now it's mostly unseasoned lettuce. Don't get it. The sandwiches are big, but very dry. Need a lot more sauce and the meat needs to be more tender/juicy. The pork should (Lechón) and shrimp (Camarones al Coco) are still the best things here, and the only things keeping this rating from slipping even lower. And still loving the vibe.

Yelp
Great food, drinks and atmosphere! I needed to write a few more words for this review when nothing more needed to said.

Yelp
Cuba Cuba simply never disappoints! This is one of my families favorite Denver restaurants!!
google avatar

Jenna E.

Yelp
a good family environment... very flavorful food, quick service, and intricate, fabulous art on the walls. there are pescatarian and vegetarian options on the menu. In addition, the ropa vieja is delicious (both my grandpa and sister ordered it). they have big portions, but because it's a chain restaurant and sometimes feels inauthentic, i have to give it a 4/5
google avatar

Joy Q.

Yelp
- a wait on Saturday night but the line was fast - what I liked: Vibe was festive and portion was good for the price; Chips came with good portion in flavorful salsas, and I liked the mango sauce - what I didn't like: Caipirinha was not good, sweet and not authentic; Empanada beef was okay ; Pan con lechon was bland in flavor and the bread came out soggy and not crispy; Churrasco steak was chewy and not tender though I ordered medium rare
google avatar

Savanna K.

Yelp
Stopped in recently and had a wonderful experience with Jenna as our server! Very kind and attentive to our table. Definitely will be coming back & recommend!

Yelp
The food was exquisite. The staff was incredibly kind. The drinks were out of this world . I can't recommend this place enough!

Yelp
Excellent first time at Cuba Cuba, our 2nd authentic Cuban dinning excursion in as many months. We went neophyte dinning on empanadas & sea food paella, delicious food via exceptional service. On March 26th after driving through Alligator Alley without seeing a Gator we (with help of Car Play) were able to find Versailles in the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami. Grandma & I are hardly connoisseurs of Cuban-Caribbean cuisine. But if the Versailles is both the most famous & best Cuban restaurant in the world, Cuba Cuba is in the best (buenazo) of company. Denver & those of you visiting Denver put Cuba Cuba on your venue list. And when the Boston Celtics come into Denver to beat the Denver Nuggets for the 2024 NBA Crown in June, the transplanted Celtic faithful of Denver should politely celebrate at Cuba Cuba! Go Celtics!
google avatar

Mateo G.

Yelp
We were told over the phone there would be 20minute wait. We arrived 5 minute after the call, told 30-35. Waited outside in the rain for 52 minutes from the moment we arrived! Understand that's seating time can be out of their control. Unfortunately the food was not the same quality we have experienced in the past. plantain chips were stale . My dads Cuban sandwich was greasy and cheese was all over the outside of bread so hard to hold / eat. The steaks plates came out delicious but we felt Waited way too long for food way too long to get seated and staff was very "absent" .
google avatar

Jorge C.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of Cuban food and have tried a number of great spots around the US including a number of great spots around Miami. I was surprised to see a Cuban food spot in Denver, but I was not disappointed. The mojitos, maduros, tostones, and empanadas were all on par with other Cuban restaurants I've enjoyed. We enjoyed it so much that we came twice for dinner when in Denver for spring break. Service was consistent and prompt both times we came, which was both during a week night and weekend. The dining area is broken out into a few small rooms that feel like a Caribbean styled home along with popular Cuban music (e.g., Buena Vista Social Club). Prices were more than reasonable and we will be back during our next trip out to Denver!

Sarah C.

Yelp
In Denver for a short visit. Cuba Cuba was recommended by the hotel bartender. It was in walking distance so a great option. So glad it was recommended. Incredible staff, adorable location & exterior/interior, unique drinks & the best Cuban food I've had! Will return the next visit to Denver!
google avatar

Deborah M.

Yelp
I get cravings for their plantains and garlic pork plate- so flavorful and simple! They also have delish cocktails and the ambiance is fast casual and very laid back.
google avatar

Minnie C.

Yelp
We were in Denver for a trip and decided to stop by for dinner. I am so glad we did!! The ambiance is super laid back and very chill with great music playing in the background. The food was amazing and so was the customer service. We're from out of town & wanted to stop by again during our trip but weren't able to, which was a bummer. But next time around we will definitely be eating here again. My husband and I shared the ceviche appetizer as well as the ropa vieja plate & it was enough for the both of us. We also ordered a cortadito & a florachino which was delicious. Honestly, just writing about it makes my mouth water if you live in the area I recommend you stop by.
google avatar

Justin G.

Yelp
I discovered yesterday that Denver has Cuban cuisine, by finding this place driving on Delaware Street. I thought Cuban restaurants were only in South Florida. I went time when I used to live in Boynton Beach. I ordered the vegetariano. It's sliced avocado, bell peppers, onions, and hearts of palm in tomato Creole sauce. It came with a side a white rice. I also ordered a side of black beans. It was all excellent, like the roll Cuban restaurants in Florida. The service was good, but a little on the slow side. The ambiance was exceptional, with its tropical theme.

Yelp
Run don't walk to Cuba Cuba! Holy cow this place is great! We walked in around 9pm in the middle of the week, the restaurant was still hopping. We were seated right away & the host gave us the option to sit on the quiet side of the more lively side! We chose the quiet side! Our server did double duty of server & bar tender & she didn't miss a beat! Drinks were always refilled & she was so knowledgeable about the menu & had such great tips for what to order! She really took the time with us to explain everything on the menu! The red sangria here is amazing! The food was epic! We started with the tostones & dips! If they sold that mango salsa by the gallon we'd buy it! We're guacamole snobs & really liked the guac here! The Vaca Frita: the meat was cooked perfectly! It had the perfect crispness to it! The chimichurri steak was amazing! The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare & had such wonderful flavor! They give you plenty of chimichurri sauce for your steak too! The mojo fries were addicting! I could've eaten an entire plate or just them with that ketchup! I only wish we weren't to full so we could've tried one of their desserts that sounded so good! My only complaint is that I wish they would've brought a steak knife out with the chimichurri steak as it's a little hard to cut with the standard knife. This place was so great I wish I could clone it to home! This will be our first stop next time we're in Denver!

Tina C.

Yelp
I ordered a meal to be delivered from this establishment. I was excited to try them! Very quickly after my order I received a text stated my order had been delivered. Strange, but I still checked outside my door no deliver. Waited a bit checked again... the delivery never showed up. I called the restaurant and the person who answered literally said to me "So? Why are you calling here? What do expect me to do!!?" she was short tempered and EXTREMELY rude. I wouldn't know if the food is good but I know the service is horrible! I am still waiting for my full refund! I have never experienced service at a restaurant this poor. Sad because there aren't many places where I can get Cuban cuisine. Oh well I won't be going to this restaurant!

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic date night spot! Needing a bite to eat late one evening we perused Yelp and noticed this was within walking distance of our hotel. Upon arriving we could hear lively chatter and music - just our style! There were two brightly colored house conjoined and a definite vibe. We opted to eat inside to check out the entire inside, and so glad we did. It was much deeper than we realized. We sat right inside the back patio (which is another sweet romantic spot). Our server came by right away and we opted for some apps and drinks. We ordered mariquitas cuba cuba, plantain chips with some of the best dipping sauces: garlic mojo, mango habanero, and guacamole. And for drinks, we ordered their classic mojito and pinaso (tequila, pineapple, lime and cayenne). Both were refreshingly delicious. For dinner, we ordered two entrees: ropa vieja de casa, a classic Cuban dish that is slow cooked beef with spices from the Caribbean, and camarones al coco. The latter was a clear favorite with creamy coconut milk and ginger mash potatoes - I'd order this over and over again! Everything about this place was magical!

Yelp
Such a cute lil restaurant! Had many apps to share and this was a great way to go about it. Highlights were the empanadas. So buttery, light and sauces are amazing. Cuba Cuba!

Yelp
So recently a friend recommended this place in heart of Downtown Denver! Wow so beautiful and so clean and friendly! Great drinks and the music on point ,I really felt the vibe! Excellent the food was Amazing we had so many great things !$$$ But worth it for sure . This place was definitely authentic Cuban food. I've never really tried it since then I've been back a couple of times always a good time and never disappointed.

Yelp
It has been such a long time that I have found a gem like Cuba Cuba!! The Camarones Al Coco y Tostones de Aguacuate were delicious, my server was nearly able to read my mind, and the music put me so at ease and welcome even though they were closing. I will be back

Yelp
It was very good. Loved the cubano sandwich, but it was maybe a little on the sparse side in terms of fillings. Not much ham. The roast beef was extremely tender.

Yelp
Crazy that I reviewed Cuba Cuba in 2020 during the "take out only" portion of the pandemic. I rarely do that but enjoyed the food so much, I had to! Finally got to visit the brick & mortar location with a few friends. It's a relatively small restaurant that's always busy with both small and large groups. We waited 15-20 minutes to be seated. Not too bad. As promised in my original review, I tried the cocktails. We ordered mojitos for the table, which were godly. I'd come back just for those. For food, we got garlic fries (pretty straight forward) as well as the Tostacha and Pollo a la Plancha. Personally I wasn't a fan of the plantains (which is blasphemous with Cuban cuisine) but the meats are succulent and flavorful. Really enjoyed the Pollo a la Plancha, almost as much as my usual online order of Lechon Asado. Still haven't jumped aboard the sandwich train because I love the plates. Make sure to try all their sauces! Coming here with a group to share is a smart idea because I'm always jealous of everyone else's order. Can't wait to have more food and drink from Cuba Cuba soon!

Yelp
Amazing experience! My new favorite spot. They have great drink options, with literally any flavor of Mojito you could think of. I would go back just for some drinks for sure. The inside was really cute and they had more space than you would think, plus outdoor seating in the back & in the front. The back patio is a little tight, but it's nice that they have more tables. Our waitress Jenna was great as well! I went with my sister and we started by splitting two empanadas. Then we ordered the Cubano sandwich, and the catch of the day. The sandwich was huge! We were glad that we split it. the catch of the day is what really blew me away, it came with a sangria reduction sauce, and it was covered in fresh produce. I believe it was mango, pineapple, bell pepper, & onion. All that on top of a super creamy mashed potatoes, the combination of flavors was insanely delicious. Definitely try this restaurant!!!!!
google avatar

Alice C.

Yelp
Such a cute little restaurant with amazing food! We started off with the plantain chips and dips and knew we made the right dinner choice. Their garlic dip was amazing and the mango hab dip and guac were refreshing as well. I had the catch of the day and it was grilled to perfection and paired really well with their creamy mashed potatoes and mango salad! My boyfriend had the chimichurri steak subbed yucca in place of fries- definitely recommend the yucca fries and dipping the steak in the garlic dip from the dip trio! Our only complaint was that the food got cold really fast- granted we did dine while it was snowy outside so maybe that was the reason (?)

Yelp
I absolutely loved Cuba Cuba! On a recent trip to Denver I researched the top restaurants and this one was on the list. The recommendation was spot on! It was a Wednesday night and even at almost 8:00 PM the restaurant was still buzzing. Luckily they had a table available for me and I was seated right away. The service was prompt without making me feel rushed. I started with the Mariquitas Cuba Cuba - Plantain Chips with three dipping sauces. They were delicious. I really liked the garlic mojo the best and the avocado second. For my main course I chose the Churrasco con Chimichurri. It typically comes with fries and slaw, but they gladly substituted rice and black beans. Why the substitution? I've been to a Cuban restaurant in Orlando many times over the past 10 years and that is how they served the Churrasco steak and I really liked it that way. (Unfortunately the restaurant in Orlando closed, but now I just need to find more reasons to go to Denver.)

Yelp
Food and atmosphere so unique to the Denver area that I felt compelled to write a review. Service was fast, informative, and the food came out tasting great. Clean and appealing restaurant.

Yelp
Best Cuban food in Denver! The vaca frita was the crowd favorite but you can never go wrong with the mojito pitchers

Yelp
Went here on a Sunday evening in August. We were a large party (10) but we arrived when they opened so had no issues with getting seated. We were seated in the patio -- a nice space with high ceilings. However, this space has no A/C -- a big problem as it was 95 degrees outside. The doors were open and ceiling fans going, but it was unpleasantly hot. On top of that, an extremely unpleasant sewage smell was wafting in from the outside. The long tables have some chairs but the rest is bench seating -- not great for those with back issues. The food was very good, as always. I had the camarones al coco and there were quite a few shrimp and a nice coconut curry sauce with veggies and mashed potatoes. Empanadas were very good and large enough to share. This is an extremely busy and popular restaurant that needs to do some upgrading -- swamp cooler, A/C unit, whatever. The kitchen was broiling and I felt bad for the cooks.

Yelp
This place is excellent. Food is top notch. Decor and atmosphere are awesome. I've always had good service and if there's anything negative to say at all it's that it can get very noisy inside. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Cozy little house on the corner transformed into a cute little Cuban restaurant with multiple rooms. Cozy date-like ambiance, staff was super friendly and the service was quick. I ate with a friend and both of our dishes were delicious! You get pretty good sized portions too. Would totally come back here!

Yelp
tasty and unusual food that we enjoyed trying. Our server Jenna was hospitable and helped us navigate the unfamiliar ingredients on the menu. I highly recommend the fried plantain appetizer. We want on a Friday night and the inside was cozy and comfortable.

Yelp
This is a great little spot, although bigger than you think once you see how it stretches inside. It looks like a house but it's a restaurant - I like it when places are a unique surprise like that. I did stop at a Cuba Cuba once before out in the DTC area, but it was more like a fast-food layout and I just grabbed some sandwiches to go. This place is much different and definitely sit-down. They have a cozy ambiance and delicious food. Although so far I've only had one visit, I can tell pretty much everything is going to be pretty darn good at Cuba Cuba. The Cuba Cuba martini (made with rum, coconut & lime juice) is SO GOOD! There were pieces of coconut in it, man so delicious and I'm getting one again next visit! For my meal, I opted for an appetizer that seemed very hearty (my server confirmed it) and had a cute name, Tostacha. It was so good and really hit the spot and was exactly what I was expecting but maybe a little better! I had a drink and the small bar waiting for my friend and a table, the bartender was great. Our server who waited on us was great. I just enjoyed it overall and want to go again on a weekday when it's not as busy to just enjoy it more. Definitely recommend this place!!!
