Why America’s Lesbian Bars Need Our Support More Than Ever: Women Who Travel Podcast

"The thing that I do like is actually the Cubbyhut, which is our outdoors, what I call our outdoor enclosure or roadway seating. And once we open, it can have people inside. I don't know that I'm going to have as many tables outside, but I would like to keep some because it's really nice, especially a nice summer night or spring night or fall. It's really a nice feeling. It's really a good vibe."

We got the Houdini and Dragonslayer burgers. We really liked them. Fresh taste and ingredients. We got Buffalo Bleu and Smokey BBQ fries. We both really liked them as well. We would come back again. Service was good and fast. We dined in. Atmosphere is clean and simple.

I got the Dragon Slayer burger with an order of sweet potato fries. Delicious!! My burger was cooked fresh to order and only took about 10 minutes to come out. The creamy buffalo sauce and blue cheese combined with everything else in the sandwich created a unique and amazing flavor. The fries are really good with their chipotle fry sauce. The restaurant looked well maintained and the staff were all helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back.

Cubby's is my favorite place to get a hamburger, and my wife really loves their salads. The food is very flavorful and well balanced, and the fries are delicious! The only downside is that because everything is so pricey compared to similar burger chains like Five Guys, it's not something that we go to very often. The service is also a lot slower than you would expect for a place with a drive-thru. Plan on waiting at least 15 minutes for your food to get prepared. We usually order online before we leave the house so the food is ready by the time we get there. Overall highly recommend, and every person that I've taken there has had nothing but good things to say about the food.

Google
The food is wonderful, but ordering is a hassle if you happen to dislike fruit in your salad, want to make substitutions or add-ons they don't offer online, etc. Today when ordering a salad it seemed like the system didn't allow for straight forward customization. I basically ordered a hybrid of three of their salads minus the fruit and with one specific dressing, and it took way longer to say which ingredients I didn't want than simply having a "build your own" option built into their POS. Regardless, I got an approximation of the salad I wanted (with a few extras that came with the base salad that I wasn't aware of). I'm grateful to the people who made it happen to the best of their abilities, it was likely more confusing and frustrating for them than for me and yet they took care of it graciously. They do offer plenty customization for dietary restrictions (vegetarian, gluten free/friendly, etc.) which arguably matters more. Their fries are the real reason why I wanted to buy any food here at all! They all taste amazing and are tender and crisp, with excellent seasonings and sauces available. The shakes and soups I've had in the past are great. I haven't had a burger or sandwich here and frankly the only burger I would order is named with a slur, which is incredibly disappointing to say the least (I understand people don't commonly know g*psy is an ethnic slur but I wish businesses would look up words with historical context before profiting off of them). I'd eat here again and enjoy it, but I think it will be a very rare occasion. Or I may just get some fries and a shake every so often.

Place is closed at 2038/8:38 p.m.! Online says closes at 2100/9:00 p.m. People are still working, but doors are locked. Response to manager-I tried both doors behind me and they were locked. I walked up and they were close. The poki place next door was open.

Google
For the price it's not worth it. We had a few issues with the food ordered, items missing. When they offered to remake, the 2nd attempt also came out wrong. The kale salad didn't have kale in it. Then the buffalo bleu cheese fries didn't have bleu cheese crumbles. Ended up throwing the salads away, wasn't great tasting. Just dealt with the fries, for the price it was disappointing.

TBH

Google
It's good but expensive. Usually I can justify "great or excellent" for the price. You're definitely paying for the "organic, local, fresh" brand, but it's very similar to getting fast food. Pay at a counter and they bring it out. You don't have wait staff or anything so it's not the sit down restaurant experince, but you'll definitely be paying the resturaubt experience price. However, the fries tonight had SO MUCH salt on them. This was for both the rosemary and the buffalo blue fries. The last thing you need on fries covered with buffalo sauce is salt. Unfortunately I couldn't finish them because I felt like I'd become a piece of jerky. I also had a the 3 cheese grilled cheese which was super good and saved the trip. But $9 for grilled cheese is a BIT much if you ask me. I've eaten here maybe 2 other times at different locations. But this is one of those places I go once every 3 years or so.

Google
I highly recommend this place! The service is great; employees are very kind and helpful! The restaurant was consistently kept clean, and food is amazing! I would definitely recommend the sweet potato fries, but all the food is delicious and fresh!

Yelp
HELLLOOOO CUBBYS This is me and the Hubbys favorite place to get a bite to eat! They do it right! I get the Le Sqiush burger and if I am feeling feisty find myself going back up for a second one! They have great soups and sandwiches and their deserts make my belly dance LOL! The service is not what I would call outstanding it is just a mediocre fast food restaurant service but I still love this place! We had a mix up with our order last time we were here and they were very kind to help fix it which always goes a long way! It is a litttttle price though so it's hard to take the kiddos to all get food but we sure do enjoy it

Yelp
Let be honest here, tipping culture is getting out of control. Taking my order and handing my cup isn't genuine service that is exceptional to receive a "tip". When tipping is no longer my or others choice, don't be surprised customers are going to feel indignant. Cubby's system, at least at this location, is automatically set to give a tip. Make sure you select "no tip". Yes- I agree, I should've made sure, but it's set to give a tip as you're about to check out. A more appropriate approach is to have the system set at "no tip". This allows the customer to determine if "the service" provided was sufficient to be rewarded a tip. Lastly, I didn't feel it was appropriate to walk up to the staff and say, "I want that tip refunded"... as they're making my food.

Yelp
Food is amazing and HEALTHY! I love that the beef is grass fed, and the veggies are organic and local when possible. This restaurant is about more than really good and fast food. It is about the health of our bodies and the planet. To go packaging including the silverware is compostable. Our go-to's are the Street Tacos - amazing! The Gypsy burger, the Tri-Tip Steak Sandwich and the Beet and Goat Cheese Salad (higly recommend adding tri-tip if you eat meat) and I love that their spring mix is never wilty and nasty like so many other fast or counter serve restaurants. I go here OFTEN and have had very few problems - one or two in the years since they opened - and I eat here almost weekly. Food quality and service has been very consistent. As far as those complaining about the price, yea you can go to McDonald's if you want cheap food and you'll just pay the price in other ways. Also most restaurants have tip options on the credit card machine - if you just press the green button every time without paying attention yes you will pay the recommended tip - not Cubby's fault. This is standard practice for lots of restaurant credit card machines these days so just pay attention and you can tip whatever you want or nothing at all. (I usually just give a dollar since yea, they're not doing too much for you as far as serving goes)

Yelp
It's not like it looks... the detail is how delicious it tastes... OMG... The food tastes like food... the ingredients feel fresh... it doesn't taste like pre-cooked food

Yelp
Cubby's is a beautiful restaurant. Very clean, and modern cafe. I love that each item on the menu has a picture. I'm the kind of person that bases my meal choices on picture, so it was helpful to see exactly what I was ordering! The food came fast and my sandwich was delicious. The missing stars goes to how dang expensive this place is compared to how much food you are getting. See this sandwich I got? She's beautiful and tasted great.. but was $12! No fries... no drink. I finished this sandwich in about 4 bites and now I'm home eating another meal because I'm still hungry. The kids meals were also $7. One hot dog and literally 3 slices of an apple! I was shocked. My kids were begging for food after their meal. $70 for a family of 5 and everyone is still hungry.

Yelp
2 out of three ain't bad My wife got a Bender Bowl and I got the Gypsy burger. Both were very good. I really recommend. However, the rosemary fries should have been called rosemary, with fries. The rosemary was really overpowering. We ended up throwing away $6 worth of fries. We're going to try the sweet potato fries.

Lori P.

Yelp
Cubby's has great salads and specialty sandwiches. The fries are good. I love the Lemon Chicken Salad. The tables are either in a claustrophobic cubicle or at an open table for many. There are a few singles right next to each other so get to know your fellow diners. The food is meat to vegetarian. The staff isn't super friendly, just all about business. I don't care. I'm there to eat.

Mark C.

Yelp
The food was pretty good. I had a Bender salad. My wife had a steak salad. We both had 1/2 sizes. I know inflation is bad and it expensive to run a business but it was over $30. Are employees paid $20 an hour in Utah now like CA? The music was horrible and I couldn't get out of there quick enough, sounded like some employees high school band. Terrible cover band . Also recognize employees are working over a hot stove but do you really need to keep the inside temperature at like 65F? Thanks for listening

Yelp
First impressions were positive. The restaurant was filled with natural light and very clean. Walking in, the aroma from the kitchen was pleasant and inviting. Service at the counter was good. We were able to quickly place our order and get seated. The reason for the two stars was the food. I ordered the Gypsy and the bottom bun was so soaked with liquid that I had to eat the burger with a knife and fork. The bottom bun was so soggy that the paper wrapping the burger was completely wet and fell apart when I was first unwrapping it. The burger lacked flavor which may be due to all the liquid being absorbed by the bottom bun. The rosemary fries weren't crisp either, as though they had been sitting out for a bit. I'm hoping it was a fluke. I've been to other locations and had a great experience.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this time at Cubbys's with family and friends. Chicken sandwich tri tip sandwich and Houdini burger with buffalo sweet potato omg

Yelp
Not sure why the bad reviews. Food is incredible, pricey, but really really good. Beat and goat cheese salad is yummy and of course can't go wrong with their whoopie pies! Also love the kids meal options, great price and healthy!

Yelp
I'm allergic to wheat, egg and dairy. I went into Cubby's excited at the options since they mark everything for allergies. I was going to do a salad, but all their dressings had milk or eggs (I'm glad they were all marked correctly). So I ordered a sandwich on gluten free bread. I took a second look at their menu and saw the gluten free bread has egg. I told the server about my food restrictions. We were careful in ordering. I was excited for the black bean bun, no cheese, avocado and the BBQ sauce was free from allergens. They brought our food and I ate. Tasted very good. Then I noticed that the bun had been toasted. I asked if it was toasted in butter, and it was. They made me a new sandwich, but that won't keep me from having stomach pains for the next week... Posting their dietary menu for others.

Yelp
Shakes were great. The chocolate is just your classic flavor but you gotta love the classic go to's. The buttermilk strawberry wasn't anything out of this world. I was hoping for something a bit different since it was buttermilk. Oh well. The burgers were awesome. Kind of small so I was still hungry after. Kids meals were tiny too. But I like that they give fruit In the kids meal. Staff was friendly but almost every question we asked, they didn't know the answer to. That's to be expected for a new place with inexperienced kids working there. Hope the staff continues to be trained on their menu because that was a bit frustrating. We'll be back, I'm sure.

Mary Lynn S.

Yelp
Terrible service and only so-so food. They made a mistake on my order, failed to give me a receipt or even ask if I wanted one. The only correct item on my order just wasn't good. The steak in my salad was underdone and full of fat and gristle. The manager was snotty. I used to live the Cubby's in Sugarhouse so I was surprised this one in Bountiful is not good at all.Save your money. Go somewhere good.

Yelp
Why? Why? Why on earth would you put shredded coconut in the Tomato Basil Soup??? First... there is NO INDICATION that it's topped with shredded coconut. What if you were allergic to tree nuts or coconut? We honestly thought it was shaved Parmesan Cheese, which would make perfect sense. We stirred it right in and immediately something was off. It drastically changed the flavor profile to INEDIBLE. I was so excited to introduce my son to Cubby's and we needed to order and pay full price for something else for him to eat since that was all he really wanted (Tomato Basil is his favorite soup) and there was no offer to compensate for the difference. I love the gluten free options and will continue to come back for the salads and GF Burgers but NEVER will we ever order the Tomato Basil Soup again. Our visit tonight, unfortunately, gets 2 stars for disappointment and underwhelm.

Tina R.

Yelp
In visiting from out of town. Super fresh and yummy salads. Friendly fast service. Will come back next time we are in town.

Yelp
Decided to try Cubby's out, my sister & I have been wanting to try to, we see it all the time, so we decided to try it. The staff were all friendly, and funny and helpful since they knew it was my first time they had Patience and explained everything and there favorites. After checking the menu out we ordered, and once we got out food, let me tell you, the Jazmine fries were delicious, I will definitely recommend you to try them. They blew my mind literally. Very fresh and tasty. Our burgers came out and well they really didn't make the burgers nearly at all, they burgers were so messy everything was falling off of them, and that really sucked. But the burgers were good, I loved the freshness i just wish they took better care of making them. These really were messy. The shakes we got were one of the best we had in a long time. i will definitely grab more of there shakes in the future. But i might try another Cubby's to see if they all have burger issues like this.

Yelp
This was our first time visiting this Bountiful location. We have been to the Cubby's in Draper a few times and enjoyed our visit. To begin, the team here is really friendly and certainly make a great effort to make you feel welcome. Definitely great customer service. The dining area was really clean and they are upholding Covid cleaning practices. 5 stars for both of these categories. Nicely done. When we made the decision to stop by Cubby's, it was because I had a craving for a Chicago Beef Style Sandwich. As we got in line and it was our turn to order, to my disappointment, their beef sandwiches are currently unavailable! After we got home, I checked their website to see if there was any info on the reason. They have a note on the menu page, currently unavailable. Glad they have it posted. Wish I would have gone online first, before visiting. Anyway, I decided to go with the Cockadoddledoo, which is a grilled chicken breast served on a ciabatta bun, and comes with a spring mix, Swiss cheese, smoked bacon, grilled onions and tomato and an avocado spread. The sandwich was just okay. The chicken spent a bit too much time on the grill, which made it chewy and crunchy. My wife chose to get their Gypsy Burger, which has smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, carmelized onions and a sweet BBQ sauce. Unfortunately, her burger was a let down. The patty was dry and overcooked and the bun was smashed down on the patty. Along with our sandwich and burger, we included a side of rosemary fries. The portion of fries is large. So here's the deal. This might have just been an off day. The Cubby's in Draper has always been great. I have no reason to believe this Bountiful location couldn't be the same. Unfortunately, I struggle when I spend $30 on a burger, a sandwich, one side of fries and 2 drinks... and leave disappointed with meal we had. Not sure If we will return, but if I see the reviews start to improve... maybe I can be convinced to give them another chance. I am pulling for you Cubby's of Bountiful.

Yelp
I've eaten at Cubby's in Provo many times and always had great service and good food. I decided to try this location since it's literally down the street from where I live and I wanted to take my daughter to lunch. We arrived at 12:15 and it wasn't very busy. I ordered the pomegranate citrus salad but they said that they were out of the ingredients. Wow, at 12:15 pm, a LOT of people must have ordered that salad already to be out of the ingredients so early in the day. Must be popular. Okay, instead I ordered the Bender Bowl, which is new. We also ordered the grilled cheese sandwich and rosemary fries, which are always a favorite. It look us longer than expected to receive our food but we really enjoyed the food once it came out. I liked the creaminess of the sauce in the Bender Bowl and the crunchiness of the cabbage. I appreciate another option available for vegetarians since I usually have to order the wild rice and kale salad. It's listed on the menu as vegan, but it said it had a three cheese blend?? I asked for no cheese just in case. My daughter really enjoyed her sandwich as well. About 15 minutes into our lunch a worker locked the door coming into the restaurant. We were seated near the door and she told the couple at the door that they needed to go through the drive through if they wanted food. Wow, really? At 12:45 in the afternoon you're turning away customers? The restaurant wasn't very busy and there were only a few people in line. The table near ours had several men on their lunch break and we overheard them asking about why they would lock the doors and what bad customer service that was. About 10 minutes later someone else came to the door to get in and they were looking at me through the glass, so I asked one of 3 workers that I could see behind the register if I could let them in. I asked her why the doors were locked and she said that they didn't have enough workers there to make the orders. She ended up letting them in, but the tables around me were pretty disgusted, especially since the restaurant seemed pretty empty. The man next to our table looked at me incredulously and said "why didn't they just tell them it could be a little wait if they were having problems and not lock everyone out?" We all just shook our heads and wondered what was going on. I think they lost a lot of repeat business after that. Hopefully this was an isolated incident but you never know. Overall the food was good, but I don't think I'll go back and take my chances in case they are having an off day again.

Yelp
We're the first reviewed influencers? Free food review for 5 stars? We went for date night and it was not a 5 star review! I ordered 2 small salads to try. Goat cheese beet salad. Brought it out NO GOAT CHEESE NO NUTS AND mashed up avocado only 3 slices of beets are you kidding me? Next the tri tip steak - wrong dressing. Buffalo fries....sauce wasn't even on the fries. It was like a dipping sauce and no blue cheese in the dipping sauce. Hubby got the squash burger and got it double patty and said not a $10 burger. I took my beet salad up and they replaced it but acted so put out. 10 minutes later I got my salad, they gave me the right dressing for the steak salad and my hubby was so bugged after telling them about the fries he said forget it.

Hayden J.

Yelp
The service is great. I had a mixed berry chicken salad. However the lady that prepared my meal did not wash her hands. She did use gloves but ones that looked dirty. The cashier was extremely rude and disrespectful. The place was clean though.
google avatar

Jaded S.

Yelp
Great food! But they are proud of it with their prices. Never been to a fast casual where the ticket adds up so fast. But fry's are bomb. Burgers are good too.

John P.

Yelp
I'm hungry before Cubby's. Hungry and broke after Cubby's. I've been to Cubby's a handful of times. Each time the outcome was the same. I spend over $15 for lunch. Althougg the food is excellent quality, I leave hungry every time. Portion size is simply inadequate, especially for the cost. Hard to get excited return.
google avatar

Noël A.

Yelp
I like Cubby's overall but today was not their best. Had lunch with a girlfriend during her lunch hour. There was no line and we ordered right away. Lemon chicken salad for both of us. My friend's salad looked fine. My salad had only four little strips of chicken but my friend's had about seven. My lettuce included the browned tips of the romaine leaves. Not a fan. The best thing about the meal was the lemon Caesar dressing. I would try them again.
google avatar

Emily H.

Yelp
I don't know what it is about this location, but it is just not good. We have been many times hoping it would change and it just hasn't. The macaroni and cheese is always super dry and flavorless. The tri tip salad is usually decent but the sandwich is soggy and not good. We love other cubby locations so hopefully This one gets better

Yelp
This is a new spot in bountiful, I saw it driving by and thought to give it a try . Haven't been to their other location . Place is clean , they're following social distancing rules , everyone wearing masks , plexiglass at the counter . Their menu is diverse , thought to try a burger , chicken tacos , blue buffalo fries and rosemary fries . Burger , dragon slayer , was good but nothing to write home about . Chicken were at the same level . Didn't seem like it was freshly made . Service was slow , and you can definitely hear the chatter about your order from the seating area . With the way it's set up , this restaurant is more of a fast food / curbside pick up rather than a dine in spot . There's couple more items on the menu I still would like to try .
google avatar

Erika D.

Yelp
So excited for another great food option in Bountiful. Cubby's is neither fast food or a nice sit down restaurant, but meets that need right between - both in cost and convenience. I have tried many of their items, including the tri-tip salad (my current favorite), a tri-tip sandwich "Cali style", their Mac & cheese, and their chicken sandwich. Each is very good and far better than some of the fast food options close by, for only slightly more (my half-salad was less than $10) and not much more time (if you are looking for a mes on the go). I definitely recommend this eating establishment. They something for even the pickiest of eaters, or the more adventurous or health conscious.

Charles C.

Yelp
Awesome Food. Had the Houdini Burger and Rosemary Fries. Fries were crispy and hot. Burger tasted fresh!

B J.

Yelp
One and done. First time there - just waited an hour and five minutes for my food and it came out cold. Never again.
google avatar

Brittney M.

Yelp
I'm so happy there's a Cubby's farther north now! And now I can get their tri tip salad for lunch whenever I want. yum!
google avatar

Amanda C.

Yelp
Loved the food! Super good. I've tried a variety of things and they're all yummy. Love The vibe and clean too
google avatar

Stacy A.

Yelp
went for dinner before a Toast concert, and left hungry. we ordered 3 Houdini burgers, a Rosemary fries and sweet potato fries. the burgers were soo dry, overcooked, and shrunk up to a tiny size. they were cold too, the cheese was not even partially melted on the burgers. the fries were ice cold too. I would not recommend this restaurant
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
I was thoroughly unimpressed. I had a burger and a side of Mac and cheese to eat and both were bad. The burger was very dry and the Mac was under cooked and virtually cheese free. Unfortunately I had a to go order so didn't find out until I got to my hotel.

Carlos M.

Yelp
Food is decent but I don't think I'll be going back because of price. $20 for a burger, fries and drink is pretty steep for a quick bite.

Yelp
I've had a couple of bad experiences at the Cubby's in South Jordan so I was hesitant to try this one. However, I felt obligated if for no other reason than to support a new restaurant option in an otherwise desolate market area. Taking a look at the drive thru and the seemingly endless line of cars, we decided to eat inside. When you walk in it is difficult to figure out what to do. Fortunately I remembered from my previous experience that there is a strange line to the left with menu pictures on the wall like index cards. If you haven't been to Cubby's and you're not familiar with the menu, I highly suggest taking a look at the menu online before arriving. The line gets intense if people who know what they want have to wait for noobies to peruse the offerings. Part of my earlier bad experiences were a result of bad decisions made in haste. This time my lunch companion and I both opted for tri-tip sandwiches. His was plain with a side of mustard and I ordered mine Cali style with cheddar and avocado. Due to the pandemic, there is a plexiglass divider between customers and the person taking the orders. This makes it very difficult to hear and understand especially when adding face masks to the complication. Somehow I ended up adding spicy BBQ sauce to my sandwich. We both got orders of rosemary fries and medium drinks. Sticker shock set in as we finalized a bill north of $40 for both of us. The self-serve soda fountain is nicely equipped with plenty of options in addition to the regular Coke lineup. My selection was obviously out of order as carbonated water exploded into my cup from both taps. I hate being the guy who wastes the ice that was just poured only to refill with a different selection. Sadly it was necessary this time. My second selection was mostly flavorless as well leading me to believe they might have a more serious problem on their hands. Either that or no one knows how to change the empty flavors out. Proceeding to the awfully uncomfortable seating area, we found a table where we waited a solid 25 minutes for our name to be called. Given the overall quality and freshness of the ingredients, a little extra wait time is hard to argue with. We both agree that the sandwiches were pretty good though mine was soiled with BBQ sauce that I did not care for to say the least. I could also do without the yellow onions, but at least they were well cooked to minimize the stank. Rosemary fries are drastically overrated and they definitely need something to dip in which was not offered to my knowledge. My cheddar was not melted as I had hoped, but the avocado was surprisingly fresh. We both left a little thirsty nursing aching backs from the terrible "modern" furniture. Three stars were earned by a semi-decent albeit overpriced sandwich. We will probably not be back to Cubby's event though our local eating options are slim.

Shauna M.

Yelp
They told me they were out of the Bender Bowl so I ordered the kale and wild rice salad. They brought it to me in a carton and it was not mixed up. I told them it didn't look like the kale and wild rice salad and they said they can't mix their salads anymore. That they are down two workers and they don't have enough bowls??? What has happened to cubby's? Used to live it here but this location is bad. I also had a gift card and the person who took my order had a very hard time typing in all the numbers. Took forever. Happened on Aug 2nd 2022.

Yelp
Decided to give Cubby's a try after looking over their menu I was very excited to see what they had to offer. I like their variety and I feel like they had a new level of food that Bountiful doesn't have yet. I did the curbside pickup and it did take longer than expected and that's why I'm rating 4 stars. But after I called them wondering where my food was they were very apologetic and nice and gave me a free cookie as an apology which was appreciated. We order the tri tip sandwich, Houdini burger, rosemary and sweet potato fries. My husband said the sandwich was pretty good, not amazing but good. I really enjoyed the burger. I felt like the patty was cooked perfectly! And the flavors were on point and worked well together. Husband loved the rosemary fries and I loved the sweet potato fries. Both were very tasty. I had ordered lots of extra sauces and everything was included and fresh! I always worry about details like that being forgotten. I understand that they are new and that's probably why it took longer than expected at the curbside pickup. They probably have a few kinks to work out but I was very impressed with the food quality. I will be going their again for sure because I love the variety on their menu! I hope they continue to do good and they stick around.

Rob C.

Yelp
Food was average, service was biblically slow. Put in an online order that said food would be ready at 2:40 pm. Finally got the food at 3:05 pm. We only had 3 sandwiches and it wasn't crowded. We did enjoy the arguments between the girls cooking and the girls at the register about who was working and who was supposed to cleaning. Very entertaining... and professional.

Yelp
Worst customer service I've witnessed in years. Lazy and rude staff that have no sense of customer service. Furthermore the fries were stale and cold and the salads had seemingly 2oz of meet total for a full (regular) salad. Don't waste your time and money with this place.

Yelp
Cubby started out good, but I've gotten too many bad foods to make me go back anymore. I got the Buffalo chicken salad, and it was basically just lettuce. I got the amount of chicken equivalent to 2 chicken nuggets and basically no toppings. I tried the jal ranch quesadilla another time, and the chicken was not all the way done. I've been consistently disappointed and cannot recommend this location.

Yelp
I decided to try this place out. I got the tri tip sandwich with rosemary fries. The tri tip was dried out and rosemary fries had no rosemary at all. I would've brought them back, but the service was exceedingly slow.

Yelp
Disappointing. Ordered a half steak salad and it was so tiny! I really think it depends on which employee makes it. I have had this salad numerous times and its never been this small. Flavor was good but I think for the price it's not a good value. One half salad, a drink and a 15% tip came to to almost $17.

Yelp
Just not my kind of place. Long wait at drive thru. New restaurant and french fry maker was broken. Food very average and not worth the wait

Yelp
All around super place to grab dinner! I wish the kids meals had more options, but that's just because my kids are picky lol I love their tri tip salad, the burgers, and the tri tip sandwich. Everything is so good!

Yelp
We've ordered takeout from this location 3 different times since they opened and every time without fail we will show up for our food at our scheduled time and end up having to wait a minimum of an additional 20 to 30 minutes. Every time this has happened. I heard one of the workers tell a customer "we had a lot of people show up for their food so we're behind " this has been a consistent problem, And one that is entirely frustrating when you have little kids waiting in the car.

Yelp
The sweet potato fries are AMAZING. Our go to is the tri tip sandwich with sweet sauce but it's a large heavy meal so I sometimes get the triple grilled cheese and it's also delicious. The bench seating with 90 degree backs are so uncomfortable though, certainly not a place to linger and chat.

Yelp
Opening day and everything was great! I've been waiting for them to open and was so stoked it ended up being on my birthday. Got the tri-tip salad (delish), sweet potato fries, and rosemary fries. It was all so good! We also met Cubby and he was so cool. Gave me a fun fetti shake that was really good. I definitely recommend Cubby's!

Yelp
My husband and I tried out Cubby's in Bountiful at 7:00 on a Saturday night. I expected it to be busy at that time but there only a few people there. We ordered the Houdini burgers, rosemary fries and sodas. 50.00 bucks with the tip for burned (charred black pieces flaked off the tops) burgers, limp fries that didn't taste bad but were just "meh", 2 medium sodas and two cookies. Not worth the money and I was genuinely surprised at how bad the burgers were. The service was mediocre at best. I wanted to like this place but we will never go here again.

Yelp
Gotta say big surprise visiting Cubby's again ! The first time I tried the restaurant was when it first opened up in Bountiful, I was disappointed to say the least! I won't go into detail about my first visit. I decided might as well give it another try since it's been awhile, I was so shocked at the difference! First off my order was taken by the new manager Maddy and she was super helpful on recommendations on her favorite items and she was also super friendly , which Cubby's was lacking previously. She was so friendly and it looks like she takes pride in the restaurant. The employees seemed to be following her lead and it actually seemed like everyone was happy to be there. I'm not sure if it was just the manager swap out ?? but different experience completely and I will definitely be going back! My food was also great ! Thanks for the reco
