Room: Kandahar 43 The check-in was smooth and the reception staff was polite. The capsule bed was relatively spacious and very clean. Unfortunately, there's no elevator to the second floor. There are 5 bathrooms available on my floor, they were clean and with good water pressure. Self-service washer and dryer (chargeable) and a steam iron were available. The free breakfast was a nice touch, although the lack of ventilation in the eating area was a bit disappointing (make your shirts smell). The location is fantastic for me as it is right in front of the Sultan Mosque.

great location. clean restrooms, has towel and toothbrush set. room is spacious although i would suggest you get the lower bed specially if you are not comfortable climbing up and down to your bed. breakfast is great (see pictures below). staff are friendly and accommodating. be sure to add Mustafa to your list.

Location is very nice. So close to restaurants and shops (souvenir shops too). Walking distance to the mosque. And MRT Station is walking distance and so is malls like Suntec City. There is a buffet breakfast and drinking water you can refill. The capsule has enough space, not so tight. With cabinet, vault, working table, mirror, outlets, hangers, and space for your stuff. Lockers are available too. There is also female only room which I am happy about. The shared toilet & shower is just across the room which is also well maintained. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The only con I guess was that there is no elevator so can be challenging if you have huge heavy luggage. But I think the staff can help. Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay in Singapore especially when you’re solo, this is highly recommended.

I had an amazing experience at Cube Boutique Hostel in Singapore! The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of the city and close to major attractions, making it easy to explore. The pod-style beds were surprisingly comfortable and offered a great balance of privacy and social atmosphere. I loved the modern design and attention to detail in each space. The hostel was kept exceptionally clean, and the staff was friendly and always ready to help with tips for sightseeing or just a friendly chat. The common area was a fantastic spot to meet fellow travelers, with a welcoming vibe and cool decor. Highly recommend this spot for solo travelers or anyone looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly stay in Singapore!

I had such a great stay at this hostel! Even though it’s a hostel, everything is well-organized, clean, and super comfortable, it honestly didn’t feel like staying in a hostel at all. They have a female-only room, which made me feel even more at ease. Plus, breakfast is included!!! The dining area is quite small, but it’s a nice space to interact with other guests. The location is also very strategic, close to the MRT and bus stations, and within easy reach of popular tourist attractions. The receptionists are friendly and even speak Indonesian! A special shoutout to Pak Raden, who loves Indonesian music and always gave great recommendations for the best local food around the hostel. Definitely the best experience! I’d love to stay here again whenever I come back to SG.

I stayed at Cube Kampong Glam for 4 days and 3 nights in January 2025. The check in and check out were hassle free and the room assigned was exactly I booked. The staff were friendly. They served simple breakfast in the morning and there is laundry room for you to do your own laundry during your stay. The location is really close to Sultan Mosque and the hotel is surrounded by many Turkish and Arab restaurants. There are many shops nearby as well. It is not far from Bugis MRT (7min walking). The downside was the shared bathroom and toilets aren't enough to accommodate many people staying at the hotel (especially, when it's fully occupied). Some guests didn't keep the bathroom clean and left it wet with hair on the floor. Anyway, I recommend this hotel for travelers who visit Singapore on budget.

I guess it depends what you’re looking for. Location was great for everything going on in Kampong Glam, so it might suit a couple of backpackers, but do not expect any kind of comfort, despite what you see in the photos.||We had the private family room with 2 x Queen pods and the room was barely big enough for us to get the suitcases in. That is fine, as it is what we expected, but what we didn’t expect was dirt on the shelves inside the pods, a lock on the door that didn’t work properly and interruptions for maintenance staff to come into the room with a ladder to remove WiFi points!||Just about gets 2 stars as the staff were helpful and the location is good. Needs a serious amount of TLC on the decor to justify cost.

Cozy pod hotel by a lot of middle eastern restaurants and the Mosque. Public transit to and from is a breeze. Check in very straightforward. Single pod in large dorm room is good size (6'0" fit with a bit more room) room for standard US carry on with personal item in locker. Beds were comfy with two nice pillows. Sheets and towels were clean. Bathrooms also clean with plenty of soap and TP. Breakfast was really good, high point of stay. Make your own eggs, and some stir fried rice and noodles with fresh fruit and plenty of coffee/tea. AC condenser was dripping in room hallway right outside of my pod. The sleeping rooms are very cool with A/C, but the bed shade blocks airflow when fully drawn, so I would wake up hot. If the shade isn't fully drawn and magnetically locked it will continuously bump against the pod wall and make noise (many other guests would do this). Overall one of my best hostel/pod experiences, very safe, clean, and comfortable!
