"Cuca "Cuca" translates tovinegar in Indonesian, but this spot is anything but acidic. The atmosphere is a sweet blend offine dining with friendly spaces thatare stylish andcontemporary as well as comfortable. Cuca's menu concentrates on ingredients like just-caught seafood, fresh tropical fruits, and local vegetables and herbs. This local focus allows the chefs to create delicious, affordable meals while supporting areafarmers. The menu is tapas style, with small shareable plates, perfect for leisurelylunches or dinners."

Absolutely amazing. My friend and I stayed in Jimbaran for about 5 days and this is the best restaurant that we have visited. The food of course was on the top and the service delivery was amazing. We absolutely enjoyed every dish and would definitely come back again. It is the place that you must try the chef menu and you know you won’t be disappointed at all! We went with 9 different options and added oysters on top of that. Oysters were so fresh and it was one of the best ones we have tried all across the world. My absolute favorite was their scallop and my friend’s favorite was the bao. We both loved their special on that day, which was the oyster. I have been recommending to all my friends who are visiting Bali soon and especially whoever is visiting the Jimbaran area! With the horrible Bali traffic and a closure of the road the day we were visiting, we had a major delay. However, the staffs were very understanding and friendly. No reason to not visit this restaurant. The price is extremely reasonable as well.

On our third visit to Cuca, we decided to try the Tasting Menu. We really enjoyed the almost theatrical experience of sitting at the bar overlooking the kitchen. Watching the team of chefs prepare their amazing dishes was hypnotic and exciting The service was impeccable, as always. The staff always make us feel welcome and well taken care of. Although, not every dish hit with all of us (it is a tasting menu after all), the ingredients and presentation were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Even though it's been a few years since visiting Cuca, we felt like we were recognized and appreciated. As a bonus, one of the owners visited us at the end of the meal to re-welcome us and asked us how we had enjoyed our experience. He even presented us with a special gift! As a fun and special fine dining experience, Cuca is unbeatable.

We had the chance to enjoy an amazing dinner there. The dishes and recommendations were excellent, especially the restaurant’s best sellers. Every plate was crafted with great attention to flavor, texture, and creative combinations. The oysters with pearls were simply heavenly and perfectly captured the spirit of the whole meal. The crispy rice was also unique, as was the Cuca breakfast dessert. This is definitely a must-visit restaurant in Bali for food lovers—whether you’re with friends, your partner, or family. The open kitchen adds a special touch, allowing you to watch the chefs at work. The only small detail for me was the wine, which didn’t quite match my taste with the dishes, and the spicy sauce, even though I usually enjoy spicy flavors. Apart from that, the mocktails and service were absolutely exceptional.

Had a great time at Cuca Restaurant! The food was spot on, and that octopus dish? Easily one of the best I’ve had—perfectly tender, beautiful char, and a savoury sauce that tied it all together. Cooking octopus right isn’t easy, so props to them. Every dish had such a unique twist, making me feel as though "this is what going to a restaurant should be like." Nothing over the top with fancy techniques - just flavour bombs that take a lot of work to get to, with a clear vision of the chef. The service was very attentive without being intrusive. I dropped a pair of chopsticks, and before I could even pick them up, a new pair was given to me. We had less than an hour to eat, but they somehow managed to get all the dishes out quickly without making it feel rushed. The atmosphere was gorgeous too - one of those places you could happily linger in if you had more time. (The coconut cocktail was so good, too!) Definitely worth going back!

An unforgettable gem in Bali. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was perfect. Elegant, quiet, and deeply private. It felt like we had stepped into our own little world. The service was exceptional, with staff who were attentive, kind, and incredibly polite without ever being intrusive. We chose the romantic package and were welcomed with a breathtaking flower arrangement that immediately set the tone. Each course of the chef’s tasting menu impressed us more than the last. The flavors were bold and inventive, blending local culture with modern twists that elevated every bite. It was easily one of the best tasting menus we experienced during our entire time in Bali. They adapted the entire menu on the spot for my wife’s seafood allergy without hesitation, and the alternative dishes were just as delicious. The attention to detail and care they showed were beyond impressive. At the end of the night, we were given a thoughtful gift that we’ll genuinely treasure. The entire experience felt curated, luxurious, and heartfelt. The pricing was more than fair for the quality and care provided. This place offers a Michelin-like experience that we cannot recommend highly enough. Add it to your Bali itinerary. You won’t regret it.

Interesting fine-dining twist on tapas - this was definitely a unique eating experience and a creative approach to tapas style cuisine. Whilst the establishment claims to not be a fine-dining experience (as written on the menu), everything about Cuca suggests otherwise. Being escorted through the courtyard on arrival, each small plate being introduced as they were served, the special service provided by the staff and, of course, the price. Whilst we had an enjoyable experience here, we didn't actually eat much - just three tapas dishes and a couple of (non-alcoholic) drinks between the two of us, whilst the menu suggested six tapas dishes per person. Despite the small order, we still ended up spending over one million rupiah, and sadly left still feeling peckish. Nevertheless, the overall experience was pretty enjoyable and the food was tasty and creative, albeit overpriced. Considerable wealth is required to fully enjoy this restaurant without feeling guilty for visiting, so we aren't likely to attend again.

I’ve dined here twice already, both times while visiting Bali from Thailand, and it has become a must-visit spot for me. The food is absolutely delicious, the drinks are excellent, and the staff provide warm and attentive service. The atmosphere is also wonderful, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Most importantly, everything is great value for money. The prices are very reasonable and not at all out of reach. Highly recommended if you’re in Bali. Definitely worth a visit!

Fabulous!!! Such a wonderful evening. It is hard to believe you are in Bali when you step into the immaculate modern space. Every effort is made to make you feel welcome. We had a drink in the beautiful garden area surrounded by fairy lights. I had the Bloody Mary- wow!!!! This is one of the nicest drinks I’ve had in a long time. The ice was tomato pearls and the drink itself was so light and flavoursome- I need ti go back just to try this again. We did the tasting menu. I highly recommend sitting at the bar overlooking the kitchen. It was wonderful to watch the talented staff at their stations working their magic. Food was so inventive and different. So refreshing to go somewhere where the talent is so high and the skill levels to try imaginative pairings that work so well and are all cooked to perfection. I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly. It is not just a dinner but an experience. My favourite was the octopus- I have no idea how they made it so tender. My partner loved the beef bone marrow. Hopefully we can fit in another visit before we leave Bali to try some of the dishes that weren’t on the testing menu and to have another Bloody Mary!
