"Cuca "Cuca" translates tovinegar in Indonesian, but this spot is anything but acidic. The atmosphere is a sweet blend offine dining with friendly spaces thatare stylish andcontemporary as well as comfortable. Cuca's menu concentrates on ingredients like just-caught seafood, fresh tropical fruits, and local vegetables and herbs. This local focus allows the chefs to create delicious, affordable meals while supporting areafarmers. The menu is tapas style, with small shareable plates, perfect for leisurelylunches or dinners."

Cuca is a refined and well thought out dining experience that feels relaxed and welcoming, which suits Bali perfectly. It was especially pleasant to see that they offer a kids menu with food that children actually enjoy and are happy to eat. There is also a small playground on site, which makes dining here much easier and more enjoyable for families. The menu for adults is designed around sharing, which is a great concept and works beautifully for a social dinner. Dishes are easy to divide and try together, making the experience feel more connected and relaxed. The food itself felt quite simple. It may be that we chose similar dishes, or perhaps several items rely on frying, which made the flavours feel less complex than expected. Still, everything was well prepared and nicely presented. Overall, it is a lovely place for a calm and elevated evening, especially if you are visiting with family and want good food in a comfortable, thoughtful setting.

What a great restaurant to visit! We went twice on our trip and did both tasting menu one and two! They were both very good with number one being the better of the two! The desserts were excellent! They have tons of staff who are all very friendly and helpful throughout the whole dinner experience! Overall a great restaurant that would otherwise be more expensive back home!

We found Cuca just after we landed back in Bali and we really enjoyed our experience there. We ordered the following: Nachos Broccoli caeser Roast pork buns (one of our favs) Crispy fried chicken Spicy crab (my fav) The ambience of the restaurant was really cool. Large open air spaces with drawback partitions for privacy. Dimly lit but not too dark. You can see the entire kitchen as well. The staff were so friendly and attentive we really enjoyed our time there and highly recommend going there. Thank you for the amazing food and experience team!

This place is an experience that is worth every dollar. This is a long review but hopefully gives you information you might look for. Dress code island casual to dressy, you wouldn’t feel out of place in either. We loved the dishes and the experience, the discussion and anticipation was half the experience! This was our second dinner in four days because the first was so good. Both times we all looked at our chef’s tasting menus 1 the first time and two the second and chose what we each thought would be our top three of the evening and in almost all cases we were wrong! CucaBali expanded our palates and the experience with your pairings on the plate and suggestions from your staff. Some made us curious, two we all had definite reactions to, others surprised and many just delighted. We tried each others drinks, and endlessly discussed the food, the order which things were served and what order we would have eaten them in, we tried to eat slowly to not get too full, but ended up very full and satisfied. We had menu two this time - and I will tell you that I was going to try the Fish tartare, but had told my dining friends they could have my portion when we first reviewed the menu as I don’t usually eat sushi but love ceviche and didn’t think I would like it. That ended up being my favourite dish of the night! I ate more than my share!! We loved the Bbq Octopus, roasted pork buns, pumpkin salad from our first visit and it was hard to watch them get prepped and leave the kitchen! We had intended to do Al a carte but couldn’t narrow down our choices so went tasting menu 2 Diner 2 tried to order a Tea-irmisu (sp?) but Veri kindly explained it wouldn’t survive our long warm journey back to Seminyak. That’s how much she loved it ❤️ Diner 3 said his favourites were the Hawaiian Cracker, Lobster roll, crab and fish tartare, and chocolate cake. Diner 2said her favourites were Fish Tartare, Moroccan Meatballs, Lobster roll, both desserts then crab and broccoli Caesar Mine were Fish Tartare, morroccan meatballs, Hawaiian Cracker, Crab, the frozen yogurt dessert Unfortunately, it was unanimous hands down for savoury cotton candy. Not aligned with our taste buds but tried it both visits. The peppers with chicken inside - were a definite hit and we all loved those as well! Drinks were again favourites of our trip! Thanks to your incredible staff - here are some shout outs Lala -Server from our first dinner kept things paced perfectly, not too fast not too slow, great explanations, perfect amount of chat She was so knowledgeable about the food Veri- Server last night, attentive, anticipatory, there to explain, kept us hydrated since it was warmer at the bar, reminded us to take our pictures before we ate ( my parents wanted photos :)) because we kept eating before we remembered to get a photo. Yuli- hostess last night enjoyed chatting with her and discussing weather, travel, and food Heri and Casper who explained our dishes and oversaw our food Everyone else was professional and warm and lovely almost as if they had invited you to their home.

Absolutely amazing. My friend and I stayed in Jimbaran for about 5 days and this is the best restaurant that we have visited. The food of course was on the top and the service delivery was amazing. We absolutely enjoyed every dish and would definitely come back again. It is the place that you must try the chef menu and you know you won’t be disappointed at all! We went with 9 different options and added oysters on top of that. Oysters were so fresh and it was one of the best ones we have tried all across the world. My absolute favorite was their scallop and my friend’s favorite was the bao. We both loved their special on that day, which was the oyster. I have been recommending to all my friends who are visiting Bali soon and especially whoever is visiting the Jimbaran area! With the horrible Bali traffic and a closure of the road the day we were visiting, we had a major delay. However, the staffs were very understanding and friendly. No reason to not visit this restaurant. The price is extremely reasonable as well.

On our third visit to Cuca, we decided to try the Tasting Menu. We really enjoyed the almost theatrical experience of sitting at the bar overlooking the kitchen. Watching the team of chefs prepare their amazing dishes was hypnotic and exciting The service was impeccable, as always. The staff always make us feel welcome and well taken care of. Although, not every dish hit with all of us (it is a tasting menu after all), the ingredients and presentation were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Even though it's been a few years since visiting Cuca, we felt like we were recognized and appreciated. As a bonus, one of the owners visited us at the end of the meal to re-welcome us and asked us how we had enjoyed our experience. He even presented us with a special gift! As a fun and special fine dining experience, Cuca is unbeatable.

We were there for lunch and had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The food kept surprising us in a great way, service was amazing. We felt extremely well taken care of. Everything was pristine! Highly recommend. They have a park and kids menu so it’s great for families too!

We had the chance to enjoy an amazing dinner there. The dishes and recommendations were excellent, especially the restaurant’s best sellers. Every plate was crafted with great attention to flavor, texture, and creative combinations. The oysters with pearls were simply heavenly and perfectly captured the spirit of the whole meal. The crispy rice was also unique, as was the Cuca breakfast dessert. This is definitely a must-visit restaurant in Bali for food lovers—whether you’re with friends, your partner, or family. The open kitchen adds a special touch, allowing you to watch the chefs at work. The only small detail for me was the wine, which didn’t quite match my taste with the dishes, and the spicy sauce, even though I usually enjoy spicy flavors. Apart from that, the mocktails and service were absolutely exceptional.
