We had high hopes for Cucina Basta!, but not all of them were met. The food was nice but not great. You had to comb through the carbonara to find the tiniest pieces of bacon, and the portion sizes were very small.
This wouldn’t have been an issue in an all-you-can-eat restaurant, but because they were so understaffed, it took around 45–60 minutes per dish. I went home satisfied but not full, as I could have eaten a lot more.
I don’t think I would recommend it, but I also wouldn’t discourage you from going.
