Cucina di Amalfi

Fabulous breakfast venue for our stay in Minchinhampton. We had the full English, full vegetarian & bacon benedict dishes. Generous portion sizes with an Italian slant made for a delicious & fulfilling meal. The hostess was well delightfully Italian, very welcoming & hospitable. Our hot drinks were served with traditional biscotti biscuits. Amalfi is open for breakfast, brunch, coffee/tea & cake & lunch 6 x days a week. Not open Sundays.

A lovely cafe in a lovely small town. We went for elevenses and found it really difficult to choose from the wide selection of cakes. Only 4 stars because the carrot cake was rather dry, but that is often the case. Excellent coffee from a proper Italian machine, as you might expect. Friendly service and interesting pictures in the clean toilets!

What a gem. The full English was delicious with high quality ingredients, priced accordingly. The service was very warm and attentive. The coffee and pistachio croissant was as good as what we had in Italy which is high praise! Our new local favourite :)

Lovely cafe & Italian restaurant. Sylvie was so welcoming and could not have been more helpful. Lovely choice of hot lunches. The carbonara was amazing with really crispy lardons. Highly recommend. The cake selection makes choosing very difficult. We particularly enjoyed the cherry cake & fruity flapjack 😋😊. Dogs are welcome and payment can be made by cash or card. The hot chocolate is absolutely superb and not full of sugar. One of the best I have ever tasted, yum 😋 Definitely worth a visit 👍.

Lovely place, owner was kind and friendly and it felt nice and authentic. The only thing was the avocado benedict I believe was £13 and the veggie breakfast £14 - but when they come out together the price of the food doesn’t seem proportional - a big plate of food only for £1 more than a muffin with avocado and eggs - granted it was delicious, and I would still visit again! but it was almost £50 for two people for breakfast!

Ours was supposed to be a short stop for a lemon sorbet, but instead the place is so cozy that we stretched. Sofia's welcome was wonderful, she took time to follow up with all the customers making us feel at home. We hope to return to try other things as well and give it a full 5 stars.
