This is a wonderful stay- clean, friendly and high end service. The breakfast is delicious with prepared eggs of your choosing by the chef. Boxed breakfast was an option for us as well. The town and waterfront is one block away with a great downtown. Thanks for a great stay!

The hotel was in a great location. Well maintained and equipped. The staff were very customer-oriented and helpful, happy to accommodate our wishes and requests. The breakfast was really tasty, especially the signature porridge! Definitely would recommend, especially for a family vacation.

I highly recommend this hotel. Everything was excellent. The rooms are large and very clean with many amenities. The hot breakfast was of high quality. The WiFi was the best I found in South America.||However what really sets this hotel apart from many was the pleasant and helpful staff. They were always there to help with taxis, tour and restaurant recommendations.

Hotel Cucuve was the perfect stay. It is centrally located, has a great and helpful staff, the rooms are very clean with all of the amenities you need, and the entire hotel is eco-conscious with great touches for recycling, products made from sustainable resources and more. Highly recommend. Would stay again

The employees that work here are so friendly and absolutely amazing! My wife wasn't feeling very well due to (we think) some bad water she consumed earlier in our trip. One of the sweetest ladies there made a special oregano tea for my wife to help her feel better, and it worked! Such a kind gesture! The room and breakfasts were amazing also! Definitely recommend! Thank you!

Hotel Cucuve is located in a central area of Puerto Ayora and it is an easy walk to the marina/port area, water taxis, numerous tour operators, attractions, and restaurants. We stayed 4 nights in March 2024 and have nothing negative to say. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The included breakfast provides a good start to the day. The rooms and common areas were clean and refreshed daily. Although the common areas and lobby are open air, the rooms have A/C that will keep you cool.

We stayed 4 nights in Cucuve Suites.||Positives:||1. Air conditioning! It was very hot and humid and the air conditioning in our room ensured that we had a good quality sleep.||2. Breakfast. Basic European style but very good. The Bircher muesli was excellent. For those looking for a more American style breakfast (bacon etc) this might not suffice.||3. Rooms are clean and quite spacious.||Negatives:||1. It lacks the friendly atmosphere of many of the other hotels we stayed at in Ecuador. The staff are polite and efficient but I did miss talking to the local dueño which we did in many other hotels in Ecuador.||2. No swimming pool. They have a beach club near the water but if you want to swim it is very open-water there and does not make up for the lack of a swimming pool.||Overall this was not a bad base in Puerto Ayora for what we paid (about 300 AUD per night).
