Cuesta Serena Boutique Hotel

We enjoyed 5 nights at Cuesta Serena and could not have had a better place to stay to discover the region!! The hotel is definitely a little gem with spectacular attention to details. Our room (Pisco) was very big for the three of us, with comfortable beds and fluffy towels. From there we enjoyed outstanding views. |The restaurant of the hotel offers amazing breakfast and food. |After each intense days to discover the region (at Caraz, Yungay, Huaraz, Laguna 69, Llanganuco, Laguna Willcacocha, Chavin de Huantar and Laguna Paron…) we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere at Cuesta Serena |with fireplace in the evening. Amazing setting in the mountains! Rooms are updated and appear just like the photos. The views go on forever. One of the only places to stay that serves dinner every night which was appreciated as we were always exhausted from hiking. Staying a little north of Huaraz cut off part of the drives each day to Lagunas which helped. Also, they set us up with drivers to the hiking each day - it takes a special car to get up to the trails around there!

My wife and I stayed for 6 nights at Cuesta Serena in July 2024, while we explored, hiked and acclimatized in the mountains surrounding their hotel. It is a very comfortable, quiet hotel with amazing food and drinks. And the view of the mountains is stunning! Mariana, her family and team were a extreme pleasure and the service was perfect. The food was very good!! (kudos to the chef). And with the new Latam flight to/from Lima, their hotel is very close to the airport making it super convenient. Especially if you have had long flights from your home country and you just want to settle and recover from jetlag immediately after arriving. The beds and rooms are big and comfortable. The hotel ambiance is thoughtfully decorated and arranged. |Thank you Mariana and everyone for a wonderful visit and stay!!

We had the MOST amazing time at Cuesta Serena, we didn´t want to leave!|We went with our two children, ages 10 and 8. The room was lovely, and the pillows were super luxurious. We specially loved the warm water bags they placed at the foot of our beds to make them warm around 6pm - so cozy! ||I am the only in my family that is vegetarian, and was amazed by the range of delicous offerings. My husband and kids loved the pepper steaks and truffle fries. I specially enjoyed the veggie burguer, quinoa salads, and zucchini noodles! Also, the chia pudding with berries for breakfast was amazing. ||The bartender, Mauro, was super knowledgable and attentive, we loved the welcome drink of strawberries and cider. My husband enjoyed his negronis. ||Also, we were very impressed by the car that was provided for our excursions. I was nervous about the roads and it´s curves, but Teo - the driver and the car that was provided made me feel reassured. Teo had over 20 years as a driver in the area. Also Manuel, the guide the hotel provided was very knowledgable and kind to our children. ||Also, the hotel provided a Reiki experience for me and the children. Rocio, is pure magic. ||Finally, the hotel is literally 5 min away from the airport! And now there is a direct flight from Lima, which took us only 40 min. ||The hotel has a privileged wiew of el Huascaran mountain. The gardens are pristinely kept. My kids loved the playground were the encountered sheeps and hens! The pool is lovely too. Also we loved the cozy evennings by the fireplace playing Scrabble, which was provided by the hotel. We also met Mariana, the owner, who was always keen to assist us with any doubts about the excursions and very attentive. All in all, we hope to return soon! Thank you for a lovely stay that exceed all our expectations.

We took a 2-night package with my boyfriend and really enjoyed it. Great organization of all our tours, hearty meals, good cocktails, welcoming staff and spectacular views. The perfect place to relax and get pampered, so peaceful!

Unforgettable stay at the best hotel in the Cordillera Blanca! We had amazing views from our room. Hotel is tastefully decorated, rooms are very confortable and food is delicious. Special thanks to Mariana, owner, Fiorella and Rocio and all the staff. We will be back!

Beautiful views and rooms/dining room - every detail is carefully thought (napkins, herbal teas). Excellent service and food, 5 min from the airport, need to walk a bit to take tours because tour agencies don't want to entender the property

Excellent, perfect, we enjoyed our stay so much that we want to come back again. We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights in total, before and after the huayhuash trek, we immediately fell in love with the place and the staff. The resort is tastefully designed and the beauty of the place is combined with the perfect view overlooking it of the Cordillera Blanca mountains. The staff on site helped us with all our requests. And a special thanks to Mariana who helped me book the rooms.
