Wow! Just wow! The decoration of this place is just amazing.. it took me back to my childhood. The trompo chandelier, the dolls on the wall, everywhere you look, is full of detail! Mario was my waiter, and he was friendly and knowledgeable. I mentioned to him that I wasn't super hungry, but I wanted something small but tasty. He recommended Sopecitos de Chile .. they were small but full of flavor. The presentation of the food and drinks was impressive as well. Can't wait to go back and try their tlayudas and enmoladas! Their chips and salsa were also so delicious! Just go here... trust me, you are going to love it!!!

The traditional food was enthusiastically explained to us by the manager/owner and we enjoyed all four dishes that we tried plus the mezcal and cocktails!

Found through YouTubers "Country Collectors" .. eclectic, great Conners, fantastic wait staff, and great authentic Morelia or Oaxacan food .. we will be back for sure..

The food was incredible! We were quite impressed by all the food and drinks, we order 4 different dishes and they were all recommendable. You cannot miss the Margarita with mezcal and Chile, I do not remember the name but it was incredible. I definitely recommend this place, whether you’re looking for Oaxacan or Morelian cuisine.

Very nicely decorated place. The food was okay but nothing extraordinary. Dishes were nicely decorated as well. Had a good salad, the sopa azteca and the chicken enchiladas were above average but nothing to jump up and down about.

Right from the start, the waiter was helpful, respectful and attentive. With his help, we ordered taquitos de chapulines and taquitos de jamaica. Both were excellent. The two kinds of local (Michoacan) mezcal were distinctly different, and both delicious ( assuming you enjoy mezcal!) The setting is rustic, traditional and nicely decorated in an old building in the heart of the city. Prices are reasonable.

I very rarely give a 5-star review to a restaurant, but this place completely deserves it. I went on a rainy Wednesday evening, and it was perfect. The interior is beautiful, and I confess to being very particular about atmosphere. The music and lighting were great too, which are two things that often throw everything off for me if they're not done right Mario, the server, was wonderful. He was very kind and precise. All of his recommendations were excellent, and he took time to talk with me about the dishes--even recommending a good spot nearby to buy a good bottle of charanda. And the food! The food was amazing. I ordered two different plates, which I never do, because I'm a lightweight. But after I tried the corundas, I had to try something else. Mario recommended the trucha, and I loved it. (If you try it, you might want to ask for it without the head if you don't like your food to have eyes.) I spent $650 mxn on two dishes, three drinks (including a refreshing prickly pear water) and a hearty, well-deserved tip. Completely worth the price. In short, completely recommended for authentic comida Michoacana and an absolutely delightful dining experience. I only wish I had gone with friends so I could have tried more of their excellent dishes!

Very interesting flavors, mix from Oaxaca and Michoacán. Had a Mexican pizza (tlayuda). Desserts were awesome, chocolate tamal and pumpkin and cheese bread. And corn ice cream what a great surprise. And prices are sooo reasonable
