"Auntie or Teta Smilja, as locals lovingly call her, opened her cozy shop back in 1994. Since then, her sweets—made using traditional and original recipes—have been featured in international magazines and won national awards. Packed to go, her klaštuni (walnut-filled dough) and amareti (almond cookies with lemon and orange) will make your walk around Korčula memorably sweet."

Please don’t come here if what you are looking for is an inexpensive, run-of-the-mill ordinary cookie or two, because this is not that kind of place. Instead, think of this as a Michelin star restaurant serving only fresh, handmade, lovingly-prepared traditional baked sweets. The owner, formerly a nurse during the Balkan War of the 1990s, decided to do something to make people happy, so she opened this shop and has served delighted customers her edible artworks ever since. Please, do not complain about paying what she asks — the price is fair for the labor and high-quality ingredients in what we receive, and these are worth every cent.

Traditional dalmatian bakery just outside the old town. 5 differents types of pastry all good (with a good coffee even better). Opens at 8:30 and its quite famous so you can find some queue. Prices are high for what is but they are good.

Lovely handmade cookies. We initially thought that they were a bit on the pricey side at up to 17 kuna per cookie..but then found that they were actually filled instead of being just simple biscuits. They were fresh and well textured, with good quality ingredients used.

A wonderful little welcoming shop and its sweetest owner. Heavenly traditional local cakes and cookies made by the owner herself. She shares all the ingredients and you re allowed to try everything before you buy anything, however BEWARE…EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUSSSSS 😋😋. We loved it, we even got a little 💐 of flowers with our purchase. An absoulte must visit when in town.

We got to try samples and our favorite was Amaretta. Inside was very moist and not so sweet. It taste like an Italian Ricciarelli cookie without the powder sugar.

Too expensive. Marco Polo bomb is tasteless margarine ball, which they charge 4 euros. Other 2 cookies don't look appetizing, but are quite tasty. Also 4 euros each. So be preoared to pay 12 euros for 3 cookies/cakes.
