"‘Cukiernia Irena’ (‘Patisserie Irena’) was founded in 1937 by Irena Grucowa. In 1990 it was relocated from its original location, on Francuska street, to the current building, just a short walk away. The patisserie specializes in traditional Polish pastries, following the original recipes. It also serves ice cream, made on site, as well as coffee and tea. It’s renowned especially for its traditional donuts - which are very different from the ones you may know from the US. Don’t be put off by the unassuming exterior - the pastries served there are amazing!" - Praesens

Lovely little cafe and cake shop with a brilliant selection of sweet treats. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Warsaw.

There's nothing I don't like from Irena. The staff is nice, the coffees are amazing and so is the pastry. Lody or Ice cream is always available. We could also reserve or book the cakes based on our request.

Good to average quality cakes and pastries. Very unfriendly and rude service, for that reason I’m out.
I would recommend fire the staff and start fresh.

The best bakery and pastry shop around, has been for years. Personal favourites are the florentynki cakes and the jabłuszko pastries. Staff is always friendly!

Raspberry custard tart is to die for, recommended. Yeast dough buns with blueberries were OK, a bit dry tbh.

Charming location, wonderful food and friendly and generous staff. Add the free ferry ride across the Vistula and you have a lovely excursion.

It used to be one great bakery but now you have much better options at Francuska street.
