An interesting place with good service. We enjoyed the breakfasts, and among the desserts, the větrníček stood out. Unfortunately, the other mini desserts and the traditional cream-filled buns we tried didn’t impress us. The cappuccino was also quite watery

At this cozy little cafe in Prague. I decided to try their local specialties: Buchtičky s kremem and Vetrník. The Buchtičky s kremem* was a delightful. Soft, chewy buns served in a generous bowl of creamy custard. It was so rich and satisfying, one serving was more than enough. The Vetrník, a popular choice according to the staff, was equally delicious. The large pastry was filled with a heavenly vanilla cream and topped with a luscious caramel. It's a perfect combination. To complete my meal, I ordered a cup of hot chocolate*. It was thick, rich, and not overly sweet, making it the perfect companion to my pastries. If you're looking for authentic Czech desserts in a charming atmosphere, this cafe is a must-visit.

Cute place in the middle of the city center! The sweets and drinks were all tasty! My friends ordered some eggs and found the portions quite small, so I would suggest to come here for an afternoon coffee break rather than a full breakfast. Still, don’t skip it and try the sweet bread with custard, it’s super sweet but I loved it and think this place is quite famous for it.

A beautiful afternoon having cake and coffee!! There was a little wait (outside!), but once inside, the ambiance was pleasant. You order at the till and then they bring the cakes to you. There was a shop upstairs where you can buy some gifts

Very nice place, though a bit touristy, it still gives you an authenthic Czech experience as well as beloved desserts many people have grown up with. Nice atmosphere and service, it was a bit more expensive than other czech patisseries, but this one has truly mastered their craft and you are getting what you pay for. Very nice staff as well. No wait and plenty of space during weekdays. The shop upstairs is also really nice, reasonably priced, and you can get many well-made traditional sweets there.

This is a must visit in Prague! Gorgeous cafe. Locals come here too. The eggs Benedict were great but the star was the dessert. The desserts were dreamy. I wish we could have tried more.

Came upon this beautiful café by chance. It was a rainy day and we were on our way to the National Museum so we ducked into this lovely café. As usual my husband went for his favourite almond croissant and I had two small open sandwiches as I like savoury food, one was the egg mayonnaise topped up with sliced boiled eggs and the other was roast beef with horseradish and pickles. We both loved our choices and wished we we were staying longer in Prague as we wanted to come again and sample more of what this lovely place has to offer. They also have speciality chocolate boxes under their own name which are delicious. A must visit when in Prague.

A refined, beautiful setting for breakfast or a snack. The pastries are a sight to behold and taste divine. Service is very slow though. We were a table of 4 and ordered coffee and pastries.

Yelp
Had an amazing breakfast here. It was the perfect way to start a long day of sightseeing. Everything we had was delicious.

Yelp
This pastry shop in the Kavárna Lucerna has a long history that dates back to prior to the Communist takeover of what was then Czechoslovakia. Traded out of the family, it's now operated by a new pastry chef and he does a great job. We had a variety of pastries as dessert. This was the last stop on our food tour and all five were wonderful. I think I liked the meringue one that had the hard chocolate outside the best but hard to choose. Excellent hot chocolate served with real whipped cream (none of that canned stuff) to add. Yummy! Yelp
Quiet spot for a croissant or cake. Espresso wasn't quite dialed in, being a bit sour. Great cake though! Expensive bakery for Prague, a little splurgy, but a beautiful atmosphere.

Yelp
We came here after an amazing meal not too far at Kantyna. We were super stuffed, but whenever I get together with my pals that live in Prague we GO HARD with the food. This place is super cute and you will probably walk right by without even looking twice. You really have to not judge a book by its cover and go upstairs to be amazed! The inside is so beautiful and they have the best marble all over with the most amazing chandelier. I was awestruck because you really don't expect it from outside or even until you walk upstairs. They have a ton of desserts. We ordered one of the more traditional Czech liquors ( was not a fan) and one of their pastries that essentially is a cannoli (sorry, can't remember the name for the life of me). We apparently had a major craving for ice cream post eating a farm of animals at Kantyna and checked out their sundaes. SUPER WORTH IT. I also ordered a lemon ginger tea to help digest all the food and even that was just unreal. You must look this place up if you're in Prague and GO!

Yelp
Came here for a quick dessert fix and we were not dissapointed. The guy at the counter was really funny and the desserts were very good. We also got a croissant with eggs inside and it was pretty good as well!!

Yelp
I came to Mysak full from brunch but just love that they have mini and kid-size options for things I felt I couldn't leave Prague without trying. The veltrnik is to die for and I'm happy I got to try the fruit dumplings. My bill for a mini veltrnik, kids fruit dumplings, and iced coffee came out to 188 czk. Beautiful atmosphere inside as well. Good place to sit for a while and wind down from your morning walking.

Yelp
This was the very FIRST Cukrárna (pastry shop) I visited in Prague, and it was very good! I was impressed from the time I walked in and viewed the beautiful interior. Their pastry displays are eye-catching, everything looks delicious. Find your way upstairs and you'll see even more cake options. I had a Vanilla cream/peach cake, and a Caramel cream tart. Rich and delectable!

Yelp
The cafe is actually located upstairs in the shopping center (2nd floor). We came in for a late breakfast. They take reservations online, but it didn't seem necessary mid morning on a weekday. The inside is quite spacious with high ceilings, cute marble tables, and a kind of French feel. They have coffee, teas, and wine. Water is complimentary. Breakfast foods: - Mysak breakfast: open faced ham sandwich (egg salad, ham, hard boiled egg), soft-boiled egg in a glass with chives, marble cake (like a less dense pound cake), poppyseed rolls. The apricot jam was great - intense and unsweetened - Soft boiled eggs in a glass with cheese, good with their rye bread. Eggs were perfectly cooked. It was on the more expensive side for the area but pretty cheap by San Francisco standards. Everyone spoke English, and the menu had English. Credit cards accepted.

Yelp
A charming pastry-shop in the hearth of Prague. The interior is set in the times of the First Republic. It's simple, effective, pleasantly illuminated and cozy. Orders and payments are made directly at the cash desk. Desserts are traditional and simply amazing. You can't make mistake with any of them. They offer a good coffee and some pastries too. I like this place, it's children friendly although prices are a little bit higher. The quality is indisputable. I heard that the second floor is amazing but I haven't been there. I will definitely come back.

Yelp
This pattiserie is quite famous as it has a long history and thanks to it it's well-known by the locals. It re-opened a few years back and the design of the place is nice and stylish but for me the golden ages of this place are gone. The cakes are quite nice and so is their ice cream, but when it comes to coffee and service these are of rather poor quality. The staff is usually slow and not very friendly and it has already happened to me a couple of times that I got something else from what I ordered. I do kind of like this place as it's centrally located and the interior is nice but the quality of the service could definitely be improved.

Yelp
We ate here 4 times during our stay in Prague! They have the best cappuccinos and Algerian coffee! Great atmosphere - love the open kitchen on the second floor. The food was consistently delicious! They were great at offering gluten free bread option as well- which is a huge plus for me! Great staff who kindly put up with our large group of 8! Excellent service.

Yelp
Very delicious breakfast! We left our hotel and found this place. My omelette was cooked perfectly great flavor. The bread was all freshly baked. Our fruit juice was fresh. The oatmeal was sweetened with some kind of fruit purée which made it sweet enough where I didn't have to add sugar! If you're ever in Prague and are looking for a delicious spot for breakfast check this place out!

Yelp
Absolutely terrible service. Never ever come here. The pastry was mediocre and despite it being 14h, they didn't have their full selection ready. Service really made this place terrible though. Also, I speak a little Czech, any foreigner is not welcome.

Yelp
I ordered a variety of pastries to try and I think the best are the creme puffs. These assuming things pack a lot of flavor. They come in vanilla and caramel flavor. Absolutely recommend it.

Yelp
Delicious pastries, ice cream, and cake! We may have tried all three of these things... The interior is beautiful and the service was courteous and friendly. They clearly take a lot of pride in what they do.

Yelp
A very nice patisserie with a view to Vodickova street if you get a table at the window on the first floor. Decent variety of cakes and other desserts. The cakes are good, other desserts I haven't tried yet, but noticed that the Crème brûlée covered with big fresh strawberries looks amazing. The choice of drinks is also sufficient. They even offer warm milk for 20 Kc (the only other place where I found hot milk in Prague was Cafe-Cafe) and an interesting hot pear drink with cinnamon. This place has high ceilings and the tables are not too close to each other, so it gives a feeling of having enough space even when there are many people. The place is also nicely decorated responding to its long history (the confectionery was opened since 1911).
