Cultural Center G8

A charming little cinema in the heart of Sofia, probably my favourite one in the city. They always have great showings of international films, I have found some of my favourite movies by coming in and watching whatever is on. Super sweet place, and there’s also a small bar where you can grab a drink or small snack after, and maybe discuss the movie you watched with a friend :)

Expensive place with pricey wine, pricey mòvie tickets. Smells of sweat in the movie room. Not enough sound for the movie. The front desk person angry Bulgarian former communist old fart. Not willing to provide customer service with a smile. Shame on getting government help for this business.

One of the few remaining small non-commercial cinemas. A heart-warming art place for connoisseurs. Good selection of titles. Preferred place for cinema. They also have summer outdoor screenings.

Warm and cosy - the sweetest cinema in town. The staff is so friendly so I feel like at home. Love to go there - even if it is only for a drink

A wonderful place to see, the staff are amazing and the things on display are some of the best examples you will see anywhere. It is located colose to public transport and just a short 10 - 15 min walk from NDK.

Used to be a nice little cinema, now is just a random place with rude staff.

This is our place when we wish to watch some nice movie. Very cozy atmosfere, always is pleasure to get some hot drinks before the movie. The staff is very very helpful. Even today we plan to visit again. Ones we found the G8 Culrural Center never again for a movie in some MOL :) Thank you guys :)

We called in advance to reserve seats for a screening and once went on spot we were told there are no free seats. Anyways, they didn’t even seem to care or find a proper resolution. They offered us to add foldable chairs, which is not really a comfortable solution for a long movie.
