The entrance fee was slightly cheaper than the complimentary cocktail. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. I do have a genuine question for the owners of this secret military base: Are you running daily training sessions with classified technologies here? Because I honestly can’t find any other explanation for the strict no-photo policy and the almost ritualistic covering of phone cameras. As for the interior — nothing surprising. Like many clubs in Europe: half-basement, half-warehouse, dark and raw. Familiar, predictable. The crowd matched the setting. Most people seemed to come just to drink beer and fool around. The music itself clearly wasn’t the main focus for them, and the behavior reflected that. Overall, this place didn’t deliver the experience we traveled for. 3 stars, and not more.

Google
It's like a 3.5 stars rounded up, I would say. At the door, the awareness person made everyone aware of the concept and that you can report bad or non-consensual behavior, which was nice and felt safe on top of the high base safety I felt as a tourist in Copenhagen (as a tourist). The price was somewhat high for 2 dance floors but since the Danes start partying already at 10, we got a bit more of the night and didn't start out with an empty dance floor but a full one. Regardless, the queue wasn't long and they didn't artificially prolong the waiting. The drawbacks that follow are maybe a bit of a consequence of being used to Berlin clubs, that naturally developed a different culture. Also, since there are not so many clubs in Copenhagen, it's a bit hard to cater to everyone. But for me, the place was a bit too "mainstream". This manifests for instance in a bit of a skewed gender ratio, like 70% men, very straight-white vibes. While it's in a way regrettable to have long queues, play crazy music or have door rejection policies (vibe checks), one positive consequence is that you end up mostly with people who really are into dancing and the whole experience. Plenty of big guys around felt a bit dry and mainly here to pick up someone. It wasn't a huge deal but I definitely got bumped into much more than in any regular place in Berlin. Less compassionate, more 'consumer culture' vibes, "we are here to consume the party". The majority of people weren't dressed in a cool way and a significant majority looked like they just come from work at their consulting company in their Tommy Hilfiger shirt. If all of this description makes you think "and what's the bad part about it?", I think I would really recommend the place for you. There are two dance floors, the upper one was packed in a nice way, the lower one was practically empty even at like 4 am. I'm not judging this negatively, some nights just are like this. All in all a nice experience and a club that tries to cater to many different people, even if it ends up in a bit of a non-committal middle-road normie vibe at times I would recommend it positively.

We where with five Guys from Holland. We wanted to devide our group in half because of bad experiences in other cities with bouncers. But this was not necessary. The bouncers were so kind, asking us where we are from and Why we came to culture box. They explained that we had to cover our camera on our phones. No insstagram. No problem, we are used to this policy in Holland, kingdom of festivals. Inside Nice vibe. Techno and house music. Mixed public and reasonable prices for drinks. We had a super night in culture box. Thanks!!!!

For what’s supposed to be one of the best rave clubs in Copenhagen is an okay smallish club - with an okay music but awesome stuff and good drinks - but the expected vibe is quite missing. In Friday night not crowded at all.

2.5 stars. as a american, please don’t come here. (even as a danish person) it’s not a good time. it’s not full and they don’t play good music. they cover your cameras but what is there even to take a photo of??? it’s just okay. come late if you do come, like 1am+. I recommend you to go to the dubliner (bar/dancing) or another club. this one is just below average. have funnnn!

Google
Electronic-focused club: tuned sound, interesting lineups and a dance floor that peaks late. Friendly crowd.

Google
Club has 2 dancefloors, small and main room. Expected it will be a big club, but its not. Unfortunately no photos as clubs policy doesnt allow this. Entrance fee is fair, drinks prices also ok. Rate it 3/5, its really ok, but something is missing to have 4 or 5 ⭐️ but its my imho

Google
Absolutely fantastic safe place with highest quality of sound, amazing crowd, beautiful people, security and great DJ selection. Highly recommended, Don't miss it when you're in Danish capital. HUGE THANKS 🙏

Yelp
If you're going out in København find somewhere else, drinks are moderately expensive but the vibes are just off in general. The staff are really nice though. The cover is about 20$ which is pretty standard if not on the cheap side. At that point just go early to one of the others like Chateau Motel.

Yelp
This Is the premium techno club In Denmark, but compared to the world class clubs in Berlin, this falls incredibly short. People in the front of the club are hawking girls and not dancing, low energy even on major club nights. I saw Mall Grab here. He was amazing. Sound system was very good. The only issue I have is with the atmosphere of the club. As a solo traveler, it was pretty cliquey and stereotypical of a club in any other city. People were on their phones and less concerned with the peoples around them. Guys hawking over girls in 6 inch heels, and not a real appreciation for the music. Come here if you want a quick hookup, and less for the music.

Yelp
Don't bother, much better clubs that aren't a long walk from the centre of town. The rooms were bleak and depressing and the music (meant to be "Europe's greatest club night" according to their own website) was rubbish. There were barely any people in the club too. The entry was 100DKK each and we ended up negotiating after 10mins to get a refund and leave.

Yelp
Fun! The line to get in was super long though. I probably waited in that thing for like 40 minutes. It's not much of a line though, more of a blob. I wish people knew how to line up in a single file line here. :( It's pretty cool inside. Not cold though, it's actually kind of warm inside due to body heat. It's pretty dang crowded in here. There's two rooms, the upstairs dance room and a downstairs dance room. I liked the red theme of the downstairs room - red lighting and red wall decorations making everything red. Music wasn't blaringly loud, and was what I expected for European EDM - mostly progressive techno. Danish people don't seem to go wild and dance, it's more of a bobbing. The bathrooms are kind of crowded and gross though. I met a group of Asian foreign exchange students and hung out one of the girls for the rest of the night. Warning: Using a credit card will incur an extra 3% fee or so, even if it is a no foreign transaction fee card.

Yelp
I'm about 10 years too old for a place like this, but I went out on the Copenhagen Pub Crawl and we ended the evening here. It was pretty much like any other club I've been to in big cities. Dark, EDM music, faux smoke, overpriced drinks, people getting trashed. But, the bathrooms were nice in that it doesn't seem to be a thing in Europe where you have bathroom attendants awkwardly hawking for tips by handing you paper towels. (Which is funny, because you have the WC attendants and/or must pay to pee practically everywhere else in Europe.) I had fun with the people I was on the pub crawl with, until we were no longer having fun and left. Not much more to say than that.

Yelp
Absolutely awful. The bouncers won't be honest with you if the place is busy or not, but when you pass that and pay an enormous cover to get in you will be welcomed with a smell of urine hitting your face when you first enter, followed by smoke. The floor was wet all over the place which makes you wonder if people actually urinate on the ground, because they seem to be doing everything else there as they please. If you don't mind being groped, having drunk people hanging on you as you stand or attempt to dance to the poor and worn out speakers in almost complete darkness. It's an unreasonably trashy venue filled with equal standard of people.

Yelp
This place is lit! -If you enjoy listening to the same song for two hours with little or no beat what so ever. Though if you like techno music then this is the place for you, but if you're like me and want to dance as well as singing, this is not the place for you.

Yelp
Great club for afterhours or if you are a huge fan of techno! Very cool people, good sound system! Worth a try :)
