"Culture Club Cheese is a charming little spot under the trees along a block on Bree Street which houses a few cosy artisan lunch spots from cheese, to ham to deli style selections. The food is made with care and a delicate hand resulting in tasty, fresh dishes with cheese subtly being the star of the show." - Tenacity Works
Very interesting option on CPT. The wine options are extensive and they are great! We also ordered some fried potatoes that tasted very well. We were expecting to get a birthday cake/dessert as promised, but it never came to us.
When we first came in (around 1:30pm), the restaurant was completely empty… we spent about 5’ waiting for someone to come up and help us get a table and order.

Came for the wine, stayed for the conversation.
Elvis was nothing short of exceptional. His wine knowledge was top-tier, but what truly set him apart was his warm, engaging presence. He made us feel genuinely welcome, like old friends rather than just passing guests. We could have stayed for hours (over and above the 2 hours we were there), simply chatting and sipping. A truly special experience. Thank you, Elvis!

If you have to choose between paying for a plane ticket and a bottle of wine. Best you buy that plane ticket because paying R9k for a bottle of wine is insane.
This place is not for the budgeting type, we made the mistake of buying a glass of wine for R200 each, thinking it was for a bottle 🥴
We went on a Winter's Friday night and it was a bit empty. However the waiter that night was not attentive and would dissappear when we needed something. Overall the service was a bizarre experience, that left a bad taste in my mind.
The food selection is very slim. My friend had the oxtail which was the dish of the week. She really enjoyed it. I had the line fish which was the seabass and it was really good. The portions were small so you will be hungry afterwards.
Don't think I'll come back, even for a glass of water.

Wine selection is very very good and a lot of options! The live music is amazing. Only downside is that I made a reservation 1 month in advance for my husband’s birthday and they completely forgot my reservation, even though it was prepaid and everything. I was even going to be charged again for the tasting that was charged when I made the reservation; maybe I should have not taken for granted the reservation and remind them, but I really thought it was sorted.
The service was very nice but very slow that day too and we didn’t get a lot of explanation for the wines on the tasting.
But overall is a nice place to try lots of new wines if you have experience with them and not need a lot of attention from the staff.

Read about this place in a book about the Top 100 Wine Bars in the World and it certainly lived up to the reputation. Awesome atmosphere, service and wine. Blessing was our Sommelier and help us navigate the evening.

We went there for the restaurant week special ... and it was special. My wife said the potatoes were some of the best she had in her life. Service was excellent we loved Blessing and he treated us like royalty. The live music was great. We highly recommend them!

Was a lovely and cozy, vibey atmosphere. We had the winter special and additional glasses of wine. Everything was delectable. 100% recommend and would come back again. Purity guided us through the wine and she recommended the best!!
