Cumberland Lorne Resort

Our stay was short but wonderful. Heath and Leigh were absolutely so accommodating. First class customer service! Room spacious and very modern. Indoor pool with spa, sauna and lil kid pool very new, inviting and relaxing. Will be back! Cannot speak highly about the service! Thank you!! We will be back for sure! This is the place to stay in Lorne that ticks all the boxes!

Spent 1 night at the Cumberland in an ocean view room. Good size apartment style room with balcony overlooking Lorne beach and coastline. Nothing flash in the room, but is was clean and had all the necessities, shower in spa bath was great, bed comfortable. Nice size kitchen and lounge, beautiful gardens, has an indoor pool which was busy due to school holidays. In a great location next to Lorne pub and Tottis restaurant and beach right across the road. Good place to stay and would recommend.

Booked a 2 bedroom ocean view room which had plenty of space and amazing view. The service was great and pool, sauna and spa was excellent and a great way to relax after appolo bay to lorne bike ride. Will book again

We had a wonderful time at Cumberland Lorne Resort! We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment during the September school holidays, which accommodated our family of four perfectly. The price was very reasonable for the holiday period, and the kids absolutely loved the indoor pool. The resort’s location is ideal - right across the road from the beach and just a short walk to all the shops. We would definitely stay again!

Fantastic location. Having stayed here a few times before I am very familiar with the property. The rooms are spacious and tidy, but in need of a minor renovation, especially the dated spa baths.

We had a lovely stay at the Cumberland! Our room was clean and the facilities for the kids were great! We used the swimming pool a lot, the kids - the games room, and had fun playing tennis. Nice and close to everything down the street too!

Great location, room and great facilities. The gentleman that served us at the desk on Sunday was also very pleasant and all our guest acknowledged this when they met him. We will be booking rooms there again

Nice hotel in a fantastic location. The apartment is large and well maintained, except the bathroom which is dated and in need of a refresh. Not having a restaurant on site is disappointing but understandable as there are many nearby restaurants

Love to come back. So beautiful because ? It's ski season and it's quiet. We had Lorne to ourselves and half a dozen of tourists. Nice drive, safe drive because the "Great Ocean Roads have had a few upgrades " Friendly Asian staff who was so welcoming on Thursday night when we checked in around 5.30pm. 7.5 out of 10.

The Cumberland is excellently located with friendly staff, great views and nicely maintained grounds. We stayed in an ocean view room which was well kept however probably 20 years old so a slight refurbishment is due. The balcony balustrades are made from brick with a metal railing on top which blocks the view when you sit down. Other nearby, more modern accommodation uses glass balustrades. The kids enjoyed the indoor heated pool instead of the beach on cool weather days. Don't forget to pack your iPod dock (rooms facilities include a CD player).
