In Nashville for a few days and needed a place nearby to go for a run.We were staying downtown in a hotel and the Greenway wasn't too far away. I headed out early in the morning and ran through city streets to get there. Once on the Greenway, I felt more protected from the cars and able to get in a nice run.
I felt pretty safe running alone, although I did pass some homeless citizens under an overpass and once I came to an area that was behind a gathering of industrial buildings, it felt a little sketchy.
I reached the end of the trail, turned around and doubled back for the most part and also took a detour through a ball field, which was cool. All-in-all it was a nice run along the river, but I'd probably steer a little more away from the industrial portion if that is of concern.
