Brought my Christian Louboutin's to get the bottoms re-soled. The cobbler was completely unprofessional, left my shoes on the counter. As I walked away, another customer picked them up and started looking at them. He was working on another pair of shoes when this happened. When I saw that, I went back into the store and asked for my shoes to be moved off the public counter.
When I came back to pick up the shoes, the soles were so thick, the toe had left over residue of the red. He completely botched and ruined my shoes. When I questioned him, he said this is the way they are suppose to be, he said that's how the soles are suppose to be on the shoes. The job was very sloppy and rushed. He charged me full price. I couldn't believe the poor workmanship and attitude.
I brought them to another cobbler who was able to repair my shoes back to brand new condition thankfully. I've posted before and after pictures to shoe the difference in workmanship and the kind of red sole used.
BEWARE when bringing high end shoes! I wouldn't recommend Cumberland Shoe Repair after my experience.
Before Pictures - Cumberland Shoe Repair. This is the shoe I questioned him on about the red residue and how thick the sole came up on my shoe and he said it was suppose to be that way.
After Pictures - This is the Cobbler that was able to repair my shoes back to new condition.
