This place is awesome! Had been eyeing it up all trip to Grenada, but waited until our full sailing crew had arrived to try out the islands best Jerk chicken, and it did not disappoint. Super chill vibe, grab a beer or a rum punch, order some chicken and soak up Grand Anse Beach at sun down from a local family run spot! Much love from four very happy Kiwi sailors... PS: they also have the best rum punch on the island... And we sampled a fair few. Thanks for a great experience guys can't wait to come back next time the boat is in town!

I ate here twice during my recent trip to Grenada. A great place to chill after a walk down the beach to drink a few Carib or rum and ting with perfect views of Grand Anse Beach. The jerk chicken is amazing, especially with added heat from the pepper sauce. Worth the wait for food while he works magic on the BBQ. Will be back on my next trip to Grenada!

I recently visited Grand Anse Beach and stopped by Cumin Up restaurant for a cold drink. My family and I had a wonderful experience that kept us coming back – until our most recent visit. On our first visit, we were warmly welcomed by a lovely couple who ran the restaurant. They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to entertain our son while we enjoyed our meal. We ordered the jerk chicken, which was prepared by a young man named Steven. He took great pride in his work, and it showed – the jerk chicken was tasty and moist, exceeding our expectations. The excellent food, combined with the hospitable atmosphere created by the couple and Steven, made us eager to return. We came back on Sunday, hoping to repeat the experience. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find that the couple and Steven were no longer there. The staff informed us that they had left, which was a real shame, as they had made our previous visit so memorable. Without the warm and inviting presence of the couple and Steven, the restaurant no longer had the same appealing vibe. We decided not to have lunch there, as the experience we sought was no longer on offer. In conclusion, while our initial visit to Cumin Up was outstanding, our most recent experience was a letdown due to the change in management and staff. I would recommend this restaurant only if the wonderful couple and Steven return, as they truly made the dining experience special.

Pre-ordered for pick up via WhatsApp. Staff didn't get the order. A rep there told us to wait 20 min. We did. Guy was wasted and high. Incredibly loud, awful music. Order never made it to the cook. Saw us (he forgot we were there) and asked us to wait another 20 minutes. So we left. Owner also lied to us about the prices via WhatsApp. Dont go here.

I recently visited the Cummin up restaurant and had a mixed experience that ultimately left me uncomfortable and unlikely to return. Initially, I was hesitant to enter, as there were several men sitting outside smoking weed. Nevertheless, I proceeded to place my order. The young lady who took my order seemed bothered by my presence, which did not start the experience off on a positive note. The food took over an hour to arrive. While the jerk chicken was flavorful, it was unfortunately very dry, resembling chicken jerky more than a succulent meal. Despite this, the beautiful view and sunset made the long wait somewhat bearable. During our two-hour stay, we noticed several patrons approaching the counter and ordering items not listed on the menu. They would then leave with small brown bags. This activity, combined with the unwelcoming atmosphere, started to make us feel uneasy, so we decided to leave. In conclusion, I would not recommend visiting this restaurant. The food was dry and the overall environment was uncomfortable. It's a shame, as the location and view are truly wonderful. However, the negatives outweighed the positives during our experience. Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5 stars)

30EC for a Grilled Snapper, 30 EC for the medium size jerk chicken. Food was better than IGA food but a bit pricey for what you get based on my experience in St. George. Edit: accidentally gave 3 stars when thought I did 4

The people working there are super-friendly and chill. The jerk chicken is the best I had on island and packs some heat. Great place to sit and watch the waves.

A no fuss place to drink and eat chicken or fish. Good vibes and atmosphere. Very good prices. Location excellent.
