Popular Korean fast food (?) chain in Utah. My favorite place to go when I want Korean food quick without committing myself to a sit-down meal. Their slogan is KBBQ in a cup (rice, japchae, choice of meat, and sauce) and it delivers. The Rock Bop (Sweet/spicy Korean fried chicken) is my current favorite here, but they have a lot of options to choose from.

Kind of disappointed this time round. Staff was nice, but food was burnt, and portions were sad. The Mandoo and ugly chicken was ordered with extra protein, the chicken specifically, but only had 3 pieces. Usually the food here has been good, but a couple of times now we've been "burnt". Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me I guess. I'll drive out of my way to go to another location here on out.

Sadly, this is probably the last time I’ll eat at Cupbop, as every time I go it’s that much worse. Prices have skyrocketed while portions have shrank (particularly amount of meat, despite a $.60 upcharge for the beef). This time I swear the sauce was diluted as it was almost flavorless despite clearly having sauce. Was so disappointed when I opened my order and saw how sad looking it was, and even more disappointed when I realized the flavor matched its look.

I stopped by the CupBop in Foothill today and had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a quick-serve spot. Not only was the food fresh and perfectly cooked (as always), but the people working there truly made the visit memorable. Benny and Jude were at the counter, and they were both so genuine and fun to talk to. You can tell they actually care about the customers — not just rushing people through the line. Benny had a great sense of humor and kept the energy light, while Jude was super kind, attentive, and made sure everything came out just right. Together, they made the place feel more like a friendly hangout than a fast-food stop. It’s rare to find employees who make you leave smiling even before your food hits the table, but these two absolutely did. Huge props to them — they made an already great CupBop location even better!

I’ve been a Cupbop regular for a number of years, and I’ve noticed over time that the portions (specifically protein) keep getting smaller. I’ve started ordering extra protein for this very reason, however it’s not always easy to tell if I got what I paid for. I wish the extra protein was put in a small separate container for takeout so you could see that you have it. Tonight I ordered extra chicken (which is about a 25% price increase) and when I got home I had FOUR pieces of chicken along with 6 pieces of tofu. This is an unacceptable amount of chicken for a standard combo order, much less when I pay $2.50 for extra. They used to fill the entire cup up with food and now it doesn’t. I think there needs to be at least 50% more protein for the standard Cupbop and then another 50% increase if you pay for extra. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to any Cupbop anytime soon.

Snyder from the Foothills location in Salt Lake was incredible. We came in with a huge group and he was by himself. He was calm, made our food quickly, and was super friendly. He was awesome!

*** HIGHLY MUST EAT HERE - BEST KOREAN FOOD IN BONNEVILLE HILLS *** came to this location on a whim, from my travels across USA country long drive, I love Korean food & was craving for anything at my stop here in Salt Lake City Paolo, one of the employees helped my friend & I decide what to eat, it was our first time here. My friend and I ordered the K-dawg, Mando, ugly bop, ocupbup & we finished it in one sitting no breaks, super delicious PROS - the Korean food here is super rich in flavors - textures of depth when preparing food - atmosphere is very friendly - staff members are really kind & nice - in a parking lot CONS - NONE COME DOWN HERE NOW NO EXCUSES *** WILL BE COMING BACK HERE AGAIN IN THE FUTURE IF LIFE CYCLS BACK ***

Ordered take out and the ENTIRE ORDER was incorrect. No sauce included in our bowls and Korean corn dogs did not have sausage as ordered!

Not sure what’s up with this specific Cupbop location, but every time I go I’m disappointed in the quality of the food. I really like Cupbop when I can tell it was made right and the food is fresh. But every time I’ve gone to this location, (maybe 3 times total), the quality is not even close to where it should be. The rock bop chicken is always cold and hard like it’s been sitting for hours, and same goes for the rice which is usually extremely dry and clumpy and hard. They don’t put enough sauce and my chicken was mostly just fried hard batter. Super disappointing when one Cupbop is almost $13. Will not be going to this location anymore.

Yelp
I went in to cup bop for their discount day today. I tried the bbq beef and bbq chicken bowls. There wasn't anything to write home about the food. It's as I remember and just ok. The service is always fast and friendly which I appreciate. The restaurant is very bright and colorful but very small. The Sugarhouse location is in a busy parking lot that can be quite crowded at certain parts of the day.

Yelp
Love the food, but Slater made it better. He's a rockstar. Will be back over and over and over.

Yelp
This may be the newest one out there...as I don't remember seeing it within the past 4 - 6 weeks...at least as I write this. Anyway, I wanted to check this location out to see how it compared to the Canyon Rim one and I came away with a couple of impressions. The first is that they seemingly have more standardized their heat levels and also downscaled them considerably. Clearly going to need to order everything at 10 when I go there from this point on and hope for the best as the last two 9s I ordered weren't particularly spicy at all. The second is that the K-Dawg, which is apparently some sort of new food trend they're jumping on, is hard to justify the expense. I got the one where you could have half cheese and half dog. The cheese portion was quite good and something I would very happily eat again, albeit it's a somewhat expensive cheese stick. The dog part was dreadful and would have been better served giving it to an actual canine. Blech. The coating was pretty fun and the sauces as well, so take my advice and just get the cheese (and also watch the stick, which runs nearly the entire length of the item). To wrap, the staff, while friendly, still has some kinks to work out in the store and was a bit disjointed. All in all, though, a way better visit than the one at Canyon Rim and the next time I need this fix it will be to here I go.

Yelp
Our order was not entered correctly- so when we got home we discovered we got food that was too spicy to eat. Then we tried to find the phone number online to call to get the order fixed and the phone number isn't even listed! There is no way to contact Cup Bop on Foothill drive in Salt Lake City....so frustrating to spend so much money and can't get a hold of anyone and can't eat the food either!!Poor customer support and service!

Yelp
A bowl of rice and noodle with a lil meat and 1/4 cup shredded cabbage and a squirt of sauce. Not worth it. Tried it now I know. Not again.
